I regularly stay at the Sofitel Brisbane but lately my experiences have been very disappointing especially that I’m an AccorPlus member. So I actually pay $400 a year to get worse service??? I spend at 20-30mins every time I arrive with the staff asking if I’ve stayed there before and can’t find my details. I need to complain before I can get a late checkout. Never get upgraded. My colleagues from work always get better rooms and they don’t have AccorPlus. Honestly I absolutely get benefits from the AccorPlus membership and if anything the service has gotten worse (also because I expect more since I’m paying for it). I travel to Brisbane every month but It’s honestly come to the point in that I’m contemplating no using the Sofitel again. As you can appreciate I’m extremely frustrated by the whole thing. I did receive an call from the service manager Marie Barault and promised me they would look after me next stay. Let’s see if the service changes. I would like to be compensated for the lack of service on my last 3-4 stays since I joined AccorPlus.

We stayed for 2.nights. After we arrived we did upgrade, which when we Eventually got our room, we were happy. The only problem was they left some of my luggage in the last room, which did stress me out. Which when my clothes were found, made me late for dinner. Otherwise after the Initial drama, we did enjoy our stay and loved the Executive lounge.
