This is our second time staying in Ibis Hotel Christchurch and was lovely. Like the room and the cleanliness is great. Staff were so friendly when we checked in and checked out. There was one beautiful lady at the reception sorry I didnt get her name, she was so nice and kind to us when we checked out. Our stay was lovely. Thank you..

Room had an odd smell throughout stay. View was of concrete pillars. Down light leaked in bathroom. Probably would say 100% wouldnt stay again or recommend.

The lobby and staff were lovely. However not impressed with aspects of the room. The bed was comfy and warm. But the décor was not comforting and the room very dark. I opted to sit in the lobby in my spare time as opposed in the room because of this. Soundproofing was not very good.

2 night stay in basic room. Nothing fancy. It's comfortable, convenient and it works. The only issue I have is the funky plumbing smell in the bathroom. Other than this, everything was great.

Used as a start and end of holiday accommodation. Parking charges only thing I would disagree with. If you offer parking then it should be part of the room charge.

Disappointed. First I booked a room with a Kingsize Bed. I got a room with two single beds put together that created a split in the middle. Very uncomfortable night! I booked breakfast and was told it finished at 10.30am. We were at breakfast 9.55am. The juices were empty except one (cranberry). There was no egg/bacon and another offering was empty. When I asked for both egg and bacon we did get more bought out but the egg was cold. There was no butter. The food was taken away before 10.30am and we felt not wanting to complain.

Average charging $4:50 for a soda water is beyond embaressing it costs :5cents The bar tender told my young daughter off for bringing a sandwich in toneat while we were watching tv and paying for wine from your bar!! He was arrogant
