Good service. But old hotel. Not the cheapest. Location is central but not convenient. 10 to 15 mins walk to everywhere. Bring your own toiletries because those provided are low quality. Pillow too soft and low. Would not be back if given the chance.

Overall a very average experience, apart from the poor state of the hotel, there was a major leak right outside my door, the entire stay was average. Having to walk to the neighboring Sofitel for breakfast, on a cold morning was not fun. I would probably look fro alternate options the next time i visit Xi'an.

Good location but the hotel is outdated and not worth the price. Ms. Echo at the front desk was really courteous and helpful and even gave us her own umbrella since there was only one hotel umbrella which was checked out.

We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and the hotel had a cake waiting for us in the room when we checked in! It was a great surprise. The hotel was also very helpful in booking taxis and giving us directions. The rooms were small but very nice with all the modern amenities. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone going to Xi'an!

Rooms are well maintained and quite quiet. The staff is willing to help, assistance greatly appreciated for getting information on how to move around the city or general hotel services such as laundry. Very nice breakfast.

Enjoyed my 2 day visit. One day trip to Terracotta Army and Banpo were fascinating. Ideal location for 2nd day walk around the inner city walls, main museum, Bell and Drum Towers on my own. Restaurants on complex were trip class. Hope I will visit again.

I traveled to Xi’an with a friend and our stay was wonderful! Our beds were soft and we always had enough toiletries for our time there. The staff (especially Audrey and Agnes) were extremely helpful and were always willing to help.

Once again I stayed at the Mercure in Xi’an. I keep coming back because this hotel offers everything I need and want in a hotel. The staff are friendly and supportive, and there is always someone nearby who speaks fluent English. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, which is good for both professional work and tourism. Depending on the purpose of my trip, I also choose to stay at the Grand Mer Cure and the Sofitel on occasion. This association gives visitors access to a range of restaurants and support. I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed at Renmin Square. I will surely be back the next time I’m in Xi’an.

It is in the city center not far from the main attractions. The three hotels together is a good idea the get a higher service for a lower price as well. It is a little bit hidden in the park so it wasn't easy for the taxi driver to find it. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is located in the city center, with 3 other accor hotels nearby. Lots of surrounding greeneries, made it perfect for morning exercise. The room is renovated, but need a brighter lightning. The same goes to the corridors. The staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast are served at Sofitel nearby. Good selection of foods and juices. Local specialty dishes also available

Staff at Mercure spoke little English so had trouble. Learned to use the Sofitel for most things. Rooms good for price. Needs to be of more Mercure standard. Old and annoying the Ibis style liquid dispenser was annoyib. Did not dispense much and low quality. Laundry too expensive.

The staff were very helpful especially Mr Wang who went out of his way to help me retrieve a mobile phone for which l am very grateful. Reception staff could be a little more proficient in English. Rooms need refurbishment, cracked mirror, shower head not working. Rooms were comfortable but dated. A satisfying stay.

Pros: It was great stay at Mercure on Renmin Square Xi'an. The location is superb, as at the centre of the ancient city. The room is spacious, and the service is great. Cons: It will be helpful if the hotel could provide ushering service for first-timer because Renmin Square has 4 different hotels.

« overall good but... »

1. I consumed one tin of beer from refrigerator. During check out, came to find the reception was going to charge more than the price it was shown in room, and had to ask them to revise the rate correctly. If I had not notice it, I would have paid over than the selling price. a bit shocked... while usually Accor group hotel are more professional. 2. During check out, I asked to cancel the deposit slip which I was told when I checked in. The reception says, no paper is available on credit card slip, so no worry, they already cancelled. it was not nice approach, I got upset, asked them to write down even by hand writing to prove that the deposit that I put credit card are canceled, and they stepped out, and came back with slip, seems they did in other machine or something, and came back with official slip and gave it to me. above 2 non professional communication was very disappointing for me.

According to the billing record in our system, the bill posted into the system for the Tsingdao beer you consumed was exactly same as what's shown on the minibar tarrif, and there was no bill adjustment record in the system. For the point number 2 that you feedback, we are sorry that the slip printing was temporarily not availible that day due to printer breakdown accident.
