I was disappointed when I entered your hotel in the morning by seeing the entrance where I was told to go to the 3rd floor. Well it was totally different there.

We already applied and having the football world cup matches on Il Terrazzo Shisha Cafe. Ibis is a 3 Star hotel but with the service of a real 5 star hotel. I have been staying there for years and it keeps on getting better and better. The whole staff from GM to the waiters are obsessed with guests comfort.

« Actually, I have been in many countries and at so various hotels. I rate ibis Kuwait Salmiya as the best hotel I have stayed at. »

My first impression was more than great when I met Mr. Louis at the Hotel reception. Not even on single request was not accomplished very well. I thank the Hotel top management to hire such excellent and energetic employees in ibis Kuwait Salmiya.

Decent size room for one person, only negative was TV picture was not being displayed properly (green tone on screen). Bathroom size ok, might want to have separate toiletries for hand soap and shampoo (no shampoo currently). Complimentary coffee and water was nice.

Stay was good, However, I had requested for early check in as our arrival was delayed due to late visa arrival on the visa desk. The Guest relation executive had told he would do it in consultation with the manager but still charged us for the day and we had two rooms and we always stay in your hotel when we come to Kuwait. Other part was satisfactory.

From my first contact via email seeking assistance with arranging transportation in Kuwait to making arrangements for my departure, I have received the best customer service of any hotel I have stayed in. My emails were answered very promptly and to my total satisfaction, the required transport for my entire stay was organised with just two emails! On arrival, check-in was swiftly completed and a few minutes after entering my room, then duty manager called to see if all was well. I said that the room was as expected but noted that then 'desk' area was a little small as I would be spending time writing training materials. He immediately suggest that I might prefer a corner room, no sea view but a bigger room with more desk space. I was shown the room within a few minutes and fully installed a few more minutes later - it was ideal for my needs. A request from me by email to reception to print couple of very small documents was actioned by the time I have got into the lift and got to reception. I had had to leave one of my cases at the airport as it had been damaged in transit and was to be repaired. The airline called the hotel with a message for me to say the repair was complete. I was passed the message on my return to the hotel that afternoon and the additional message was that a car had been dispatched to the airport to collect it on my behalf! The food throughout my stay was well cooked, well presented and very tasty as well as great value for money. I may well be back in Kuwait in October and November and I will certainly be staying at this hotel for both of those trips!
