« The hotel had everything I needed for my stay »

The hotel was clean and everything was fine. The area for smoking was very big and it would be nice if the smokers room could be placed even further away. The receptionist were very polite and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was a bit slow when ordering even small disches as french fries. The food was good - also at breakfast. Nice to have a Starbucks in the hotel.

Have stayed at Ibis Salmiya multiple times and find the hotel to be well managed and comfortable - giving good value for money. Rooms are good and clean, breakfast well presented and staff always professional and welcoming. A good and affordable choice in Kuwait city with placed in a vibrant area with multiple choices close by for dining and shopping.

The Best Ibis Hotel that I’ve seen in my life. Rooms are clean. All employees are very kind and smiley. I am very happy for this hotel. However, this time happened something. Although I am Platinum Memeber, they did not upgrade me to the suite. Rest of the things are perfect. Thank you.

Stayed there for more than a week due to business assignment. Amenities were according to expectation (fully satisfied). Staff was friendly. Room cleaning and washing done sufficiently well. Sometimes the breakfast buffet was running out of dairy products. Was not a huge problem though. Nice bar and restaurant.

Upon checking into my room, I had to call the housekeeping as there was a terribly old, dirty smell throughout my room. Housekeeping simply came with room freshener and squirted on the carpet, which tells me they were aware of the issue beforehand. The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. The TV channel selection only catered for Arabic speaking guests. The bathroom had no soap, shower gel and only 2 towels. I went for breakfast the following morning, and there was a good selection. I asked for a hot chocolate as I do not drink coffee, which took over 10mins to make. It was then Luke warm once I received. Finally I checked out to be told I had an outstanding bill. The bill included airport collection, room service and additional extras over the past 3 nights. I was surprised as I had only spend 1 night. After I openly refused to pay the bill, I noticed the staff had issued me the wrong room receipt!! The front of house staff I dealt with was Samah and he was extremely rude and unhelpful. His manners were appalling and he made me feel as though I was to blame for his mistake. I was staying on a business trip with my company Landmark Group. I have advised the admin team at Landmark who make all hotel reservations, to no longer use the IBIS in Kuwait, or any other country for that matter. I will certainly not be staying with IBIS again and I would never recommend the hotel chain to a friend or colleague.

« Dissapointed on my first visit. »

Hotel looks good from outside. Can get Taxi easily from outside the hotel. Rooms are very small comapred to other hotels on same price. Bathroom does not have basic toiletries. You will only get shower and towel. Cleaning team don't clean floor everyday which is hygenically not good. Breakfast is satisfactory. On my first day only, they deducted some amount from my card and later they are saying they did not deduct the money, instead they blocked it. Don't know who told them to block it. The amount got deducted my account and it took 18 days for me to get back the amount. Hotel did not help me at all in this process. It seems they did nothing but it really harassed me. Overall not a good exp. If you are travelling with couple or even single please search for other subsequent hotel in same price. It might be worthy.
