We’ve stayed in the one bedroom apartment in Ibis Salmiya which turned to be one of the best options in the area. Very spacious and elegant. Defiantly worth the price we paid. Staff members were very helpful and friendly.

To summerize my experience at your hotel, your staff were both totally unprofessional and displeasing. I booked through Booking.com for business. Being based in Dubai, there is rarely a requiremnt for staying one night in Kuwait. However, as this time, such requirement was there, after receiving recommendations from colleagues, I chose to book at your hotel for myself and 2 other colleagues. However, the issue started when I was charged for the 3 rooms on my credit card, which I registered during the time of reservation. During check-in, I notified this to your front office staff, and expressed that I would like to change the terms of payment for separate payment by each guest. Your staff was not even aware of this fact, and only after I showed evidence of the charge notice from my credit card company, they immediately changed the story that the contract was for pre-charging. While this conversation was going on merely 2 meters away from the desk next door, your other staff was informing my colleague, who was also chekcing-in. that the payment has already been settled! Hearing this, I immediately intervened, and made a comment that i had literally "just" requested and clearly stated that payment will be separately paid by each guest. At this point, your staff seemed to be completly lost and not know what to do, running around in circles in from of my eyes. Additionally, I asked for written confirmation on the refund of the pre-charged amount, which I explained that I am rather comfortable to have written evidence for the future. Your front desk staff asked me to be seated in the lobby while the document was being processed and prepared. I waited for half an hour until I was notified by your staff (who did not even bother to walk over to me to inform this and spoke to me from behind the desk) that issue of this document was not possible because my other colleague (out of the 3 of us) had not checked-in. Frustruated even more, that I had wasted 30 minutes of my time for nothing, I asked when this document could be prepared. Your staff answered that by the next day morning, this document would be ready. I again asked then, to prepare the document by morning before my check-out. However, the next day, when I re-approached your morning shift staff, this information was not handed over between your night shift and morning shift, and I had to re-explain the whole situation. After extensive explanation, I was promised that this doucment would be sent to me via e-mail. Unfortunately, even after a full 24 hours, I am yet to receive this document. To sum up, your staff was not only unprofessional in their work, but also extremely displeasing,. As a paying customer, going through all of this hassle was one thing, but if there was a mistake, I am expecting that I receive an apology first of all. However, your staff was not event able to do this most basic and simple thing and chose instead to immediately start giving me excuses for what had happened. I hope that this mail serves as a clear feedback on your hotel's improvement points. IF and WHEN I every get to re-visit your hotel, I hope that I will receive a much better service than my terrible experince this time. Regards, W.L.
