« Not the best stay I have had. »

The room key didn't work. We were let in by a house maid. The room was very hot and we weren't able to adjust the aircon. I went to reception to get a new key and told them of the aircon. Being a Sunday there was no one from maintenance and we had to move to another room. I left stick/it notes on each of the items I noticed needing attention. i.e. Fridge not cold enough even on highest setting. The room was dusty. The toilet seat was not attached to the pedestal. The toilet roll holder was almost falling off the wall. The bathroom mirror had screws missing and was wobbly and the little ledge beneath was unusable as it was on a tilt. The room was noisy from people banging doors and talking in the halls. The kettle didn't work and it took some time for reception to locate a new one.

It was convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful.I was disappointed that I had to pay to park my car at the hotel next door because of your renovations.This was unacceptable in my opinion as it was not mentioned on your website.As i have to make a few more trips in the upcoming months I will look to book elsewhere as $35 extra may have got me a deal at a better hotel where parking did not have additional fees.

Everything was great except the breakfast option. I’m sure that’ll improve after renovations are complete though. Was far too basic for my liking, in fact , we went to Mac Donald’s instead , which is something I’d never normally do.

Ok. But access to get there is terrrible with the cueing of cars for over an hour all because you have McDonalds next door

« Very dissatisfied with the cleanliness and presentation of the whole motel. »

The room we were initially put in was not the type of room we paid for. After sternly complaining we were moved to a different room. This room was adequate but the grout and grooves in the bathroom were dirty with scum. There were marks and dirt on the walls and the overall feel of the room was cheap. I would not recommend that people stay at Ibis budget Sydney if they ask. The sign out the front of the motel said a cheap price, but they charge different. When I questioned this the staff said management do this to draw people in but do not give the cheaper price.

It was ok, neither terrible or amazing. Asked upon check in regarding shuttle services to the airport, was told it's only a 10 minute walk to the airport, not really what I was after... Please also provide tax invoices/receipts. All I have is my booking confirmation, normally I would expect to receive a receipt or email with tax invoice as part of the stay.

When I booked this property I was aware I was booking a budget hotel - I was compleately fine with this however I did expect that I would be able to shower properly. The first night we had no hot water and no water pressure- just a tiny dribble came out of the shower head. Given this was late at night I thought perhaps the hot water was used by other guests. Next morning we had Luke warm water and still no water pressure. I Told the reception on both days - the gentleman at reception didn't seem to care and did not tempt to fix the shower or offer another room. Later that night they had not fixed the shower and the exact same issue. Room was small but beds were comfy. Given that I would not wash myself properly for 2 days I have no desire to book his hotel ever again

Pillows was lumpy. The shower wet the whole area which is a safety issue. Needed extra towels to wipe the floor. It was close to the airport which was good, but we had difficulties navigating to get there as there. I booked two adjacent rooms and asked that one room have 3 beds and the other two we were traveling one teacher with 4 students. When I rang again to check they told me that the rooms only had a queen in one and twin in the other. They change the room booking but the rooms were on the same floor but distant apart. This was an issue as I needed to supervise the students under my care for this trip.

To be honest we sincerely thought we had cancelled this booking, due to a change of travel plans. I know this maybe asking too much but can we ask for a refund for this booking? Another option is could we please ask for a transfer of the funds or part there of to an overnight accommodation Sydney on the 24th March 2020. We await in anticipation your response to this request. Let say customer service isnt a must. Also i had a fall at the entry way and no staff even noticed. I also had to request first aid assistance and i must say it was concerning that they had no idea what would be need to cover my wound
