I had my flights changed 6 weeks out from the trip and emailed the hotel immediately to request a cancellation. I did not hear from the hotel and when I finally managed to make contact on an earlier stay was basically told "Sorry no refund." As I was not aware this was "the policy" (as I was very abruptly informed) I was very disappointed. I have stayed at the hotel on many occasions and thought customer loyalty would have been a priority.

I would describe our stay as ok. The room was small but had everything we needed. The rooms are fairly sound proof so we were able to get a good nights rest. On the down side, there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom or anywhere near a mirror so using a blow dryer or curling iron was a bit of a challenge. Also the bathroom was not as clean as one would expect. The breakfast was rather pricey for what you get.

Having stayed at this motel before and always been very satisfied I was surprised at the lack of cleanliness in my bathroom. Room 329. The walls and floor of the bathroom needed serious attention. I decided to forgo having a shower as I was uncertain of the matter on the floor and walls. The main room of the motel was excellent. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast.

Staying a few times now, we find your motel is very convenient and provides more than adequate facilities for a short stay. The included breakfast is also completely satisfactory, with an added bonus if the barista is on duty. To travel the day before from the country, then on to the airports in the morning, with a short walk to the train at the domestic terminal, suits us fine. A relaxing meal in the companion motel the night before starts our travel off just right.

We arrived after 9pm and I was concerned by the smell (in the general hotel) and possible lack of air-conditioning. Went to our room and clearly a workman had gone home in the middle of some tiling repairs in the bathroom. Went downstairs. At first the receptionist encouraged us to stay there anyway but when I expressed concerns about the workman returning unexpectedly and keeping our stuff there, he upgraded us to a disability suite with 2 queen beds. The disability suite was lovely and extremely comfortable. Great mattress and pillows. My only annoyance was the air conditioning would turn off whenever someone left the room and at least one other random time. We had booked partly because of the advertised buffet breakfast, so were disappointed with continental breakfast. Also was hard to work out how to get there from the airport as now you are using a shuttle service different than the one advertised and we had to ask every van driver as they arrived. Overall loved staying in that room, made the experience excellent.

I contacted Qantas hotels in January to advise of my situation, they contacted you and your reply on 14/2/19 was that the booking is non refundable. I then emailed you and you did not even give me the courtesy of a reply. I have stayed with you numerous times and will never again. I hope you enjoyed the money of someone in a life and death situation. You would have rented that room out and thereby received double the fee. Your handling of this matter was disgraceful.

The front reception staff were great and very helpful. The room was clean and tidy, however the bottom sheet was not tucked in properly requiring me to strip the bed to make it again. Parking, at $35 per night is too much. Overall it was a great stay as usual.

We booked for a room with Twin beds, were given a room with one Double bed. Went to Reception, where we were allocated another room (515) which was more suitable for our needs. We explained that my Daughter (Kerri) was going into Hospital the next day for an operation on her Ankle. so we were given a disabled room which was easier for us. The room was very bare, no Chairs to sit on. when you flushed the Toilet, you had to hold the button so it wouldn't pop out onto the floor. The Air Conditioning was very noisey and the control panel didnt seem to make any difference to the temperature or fan speed! When i returned on the Tuesday (2nd Day) after being at Hospital with Kerri all day, i came back to a room where the Door was not locked, beds not made and the floor not swept. i went to Reception where Cagan offered to come and check the Door for me, when i was the told "extra pressure was needed to push/pull on so it would lock" i said that i understood, could he please get it fixed for me! He said yes he would and he was "sorry" about the door, unmade beds, floor etc etc etc. We came home the next day, shock horror the door was unlocked again!!! Beds were made, floor was filthy, Toilet had NOT been cleaned since we had arrived. i was again went down to the Reception to be again greeted by Cagan and another man at reception, I felt that i was treated with contempt and looked down upon. I again asked for this to be fixed!!! Kerri and i went out on Friday for most of the Day to come back and Guess What the door was again NOT locked. again I went down to Reception and asked to speak with the Manager, Cagan said he was busy, so i said i will wait for him. The other man at the desk went and got the Manager for me, who was very nice, he asked if we would like to change rooms and i said we were leaving in the morning and it was too difficult with Kerri and her being on Crutches. I am not sure of his name, but he came up to the room and stated that he was sorry and would get it fixed. I suggested that we should get some sort of Recompense for all the stress and worry it had caused us. He was very good and we went back down to Reception and asked Cagan to do this for us. i also asked for an Invoice and was told i could only get one on Checkout - which i am not sure why?? Anyway i said that is fine if everything could be sorted and ready for when we checked out at 7am next morning. Cagan assured me this would be done. i thanked him and went back to the room. The next morning i went down to check out and there was a lovely lass - Suzie? - who was checking us out and when i asked about these things they were not done, on our explaination Suzie said she remebered hearing something about this and done it immediately for us. Our Checkout experience was the best service we had received for the duration of our stay and i think that this young lass should be commended for looking after the guests. As for Cagan, i feel he needs some sort of training on how to deal with people, he gave myself and another guest i was speaking with the feeling that he thought he was so much better than ourselves. After my experience at Ibis Sydney Airport, i will never book with another Ibis or Accor Hotel, i was extremely dissappointed.

Hotel is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It is quite comfortable. The only problem is they keep adding rooms and the breakfast bar is now too small. Otherwise ok.
