Hotel is located in the centre of the city but bit quite at night time. Thanks for upgrade to the suite room, and the room is ok, but I really do the finishing of the paint of the edge at ceiling, it looks so rough and not really a Sofitel standard. However, services are good. Especially, thanks to Fairy and Judy from the club floor and they did the good work.

I was very extremely satisfied with service from Sofitel Xian on Renmin Square. I was stay for 4 days and 3 nights at this hotel. I was cek in on Saturday 16/06/2018 and cek out on Tuesday 19/06/2018. I was stay on 3rd Floor in Suite Junior Room. And the room is very big, very clean and very comfortable. The important things is the service from room service is very good and very friendly. She is very friendly to all my kids during my kids play at the corridor. I give her 10 points if I can give her point. The bad things in this hotel are the air conditioner in the room is not cold, maybe the air conditioner is a little bit to old and other than that are the trainee in the restaurant during breakfast time, they cannot speak English. They don't understand what is tea and what is coffee. Maybe next time the trainee should be learn English a little bit.

The hotel is very nice in general. Room is great and breakfast superb. Check in and out is not good, takes far too long. Excluding waiting in line, we spent more than 1 hour for checking in and out! Staff at breakfast was nice and friendly and delivered good service.

This hotel is a great choice for a visit to Xi'an. Staff is friendly, breakfast was good with lots of choice, and the concierge was very helpful in arranging transport to the Terracotta Warriors and onward to the high speed train.

First thing they get you with is trying to get you to pay for an upgrade and in our case it was 50% additional fees. Requested a cot for for 1 year old and it was unusable as it was so old (dog bite marks or something) with the dirtiest baby mattress ever seen with new linen on top of it which became our dirty clothes basket instead. Carpet was worn and had lifted in some bits but the cleaners kept the room tidy enough for comfortable stay (except being forced to have baby sleep in our bed). Walkable distance to Muslim street and bell tower and excellent area if you want to do morning or evening walks for exercise. Shopping centres walkable distance too. Free parking outdoors included. For a 5 star no food included and restaurants with exorbitant prices so didn't get to taste any food even with accor silver membership as no discount applicable. Staff English besides reception is very limited and concierge constantly on the mobile phone before acknowledging or want to help. Booked 2 rooms but only get credited with 1 room for nights stayed in your calender year. Had I known this would have done 2 separate bookings so that we could get close to the membership upgrade with double room nights counted so beware they try to avoid loyalty membership upgrade. Bottled waters in the morning and evening each day were bonus.

Dear JoeofGC, Thank you for your comments. I pay high attention to your comments and personally went to have a look at the status of all our baby cots. I respect your comments however have different opinions. By the way, please kindly be advised that pets are not allowed in our hotel and thus there couldn't be any dog bite. All four levels of Accor Le Club membership do not entitle the card-holders to meal discounts. To enjoy meal discounts Accor Plus membership needs to be purchased. There is no reason for us to prevent our members from membership upgrade, at the same time Accor does have standards on earning points. We tried to find out more details of your recent stay from the name "JoeofGC", however we couldn't get any clue from it. Would you please let us know more information such as your name or dates of stay and room number, so that we could investigate on this part and get back to you? I stay at this hotel a number of times a year. Staff are all very helpful, service is generally quick and seamless. Rooms/bathrooms very clean - and very comfortable. Must commend the staff in the executive club who remembered a request we made for a particular Chinese red wine - and had it ready for our return about 9 days later - and not just for this, they provide excellent service always.
