« An impressive hotel, in a lovely location for a reasonable price. »

The buffet breakfast has something for everyone. As a tourist who does not speak Portuguese, having English speaking people at the reception desk was invaluable and deeply appreciated. The rooms were perfect for my daughter and I and the location was ideal for all we wanted. We could shop just down the road and walk near the water on the impressive walkways designed for this purpose. Overall, our stay was excellent. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, should I return to Florianopolis.

« Excellent hotel choice in Floripa »

I really enjoy this hotel, as the location, view outside hotel, and bathroom/shower are really nice. The bed is quite comfy and the TV was great as well. The only area of improvement is some of the rooms' views are not so nice, as you just see building, and blanket is very very thin (you are provided a separate super thin blanket). Other than that, great stay.

I am getting used to stay at the Novotel in Florianopolis and it is a good thing. The staff is young and helpful without being intrusive. The rooms are spacious, even though the bathroom layout is not the best. One negative comment about the laundry service. I undestand that ACCOR members could benefit from a room upgrade: I had to ask for it.

To all the front desk assistants,I thank you them. Many of them made me feel welcome in the Novotel. My first stay with this Hotel industry. There is certain adjustment that needs to be care for. Had a nite that stayed at hotel anone, since my daughter and husband wanted to go out, at a club with music... I sat in the restaurant alone to eat dinner and have a glass of wine. To my surprise I was told that they don't serve wine by the glass, only small bottle. Coming from USA, ladies can go to a restaurant and ask for a glass of wine with dinner. I was devastated!! Had to have a beer with my meal. Then ,when ordered osso buco with risoto, there was a dark sauce on top of the osso buco. Very strange!! Never had with black sauce, was told the sauce had balsamic, and red wine. It made my stomach overturn. Decided to eat the risotto, the rice was so hard, that I had to chew with my teeth, to be able to eat some. The worst meal of all my trip.!!Please make sure that is fixed so next american citizen will enjoy the dinner. Also drescribes what items contain in the sauce, so if for instance you are allergic, you know better not to order.As my room,and the view was great!!No complains there.

I was with my children, and the extra bed we got was not enough for both of them, and was not so comfortable. Had to ask for extra towels - there were only 2. Other than that, staff was really friendly, accomodated a late checkout upon my request, breakfast is good.

« Fantastic view. Lorella provided excellent assistance. »

The view from the room (1360) was fantastic-thank you! Lorella from the front desk provided excellent service. She gave me a schedule of busses to take to Jure, and also helped me arrange transportation of my bike to Jure. She deserves a promotion, raise and/or bonus. I liked the rooftop pool. The breakfast was averge. The hallways and rooms could use new carpet. The room did not have an electric kettle with coffee and tea, which other Novetels offer.

The staff was very kind towards us, and since we were there for a wedding they let us have a late check out. The only thing that could be better is the mold smell in the rooms, maybe its because of the carpet.

« Good Experience with some small issues »

I like the Accor Hotels, normally I stay at Mercure Itacorubi when I visit Florianópolis, this time I stayed at Novotel, the location is awesome, the employees are very friendly, respectful and nice. In the other hand, I think the hotel is old furniture, small TV and I had issues in my bathroom that's wasn't solve it in the time but solved later. The view from the room and from the swimming pool are amazing.

I just felt at home when I arroved at the hotel. Very nice people at the front desk. Extremely helpful person at valet parking. The air conditioning was perfect, no noise at all, clean and roomier bedroom.

« Satisfied but could be better »

I have been staying with the hotel since it was first opened and it seems as if no investment has been made to upgrade or renovate. There are no irons to give clients (there use to be) the amenities use to be of high quality (not anymore). There are no pillows without feathers. The thing that saves the hotel is location and very friendly staff.
