A) Problems with the room: 1) It was very cold. The heating system in the room simply did not work. I switched it on "heat" and on top level "vent" and only cold air came through the vents. The only difference was that on top level, the noise made by the venting system was increased. 2) There was water in the room, under the toilet. When i first entered the bathroom i stepped directly into the water and got my feet (and my socks) wet. I had to take of my socks and this contributed to me being cold during the night. I had nowhere to dry my socks because there was no heat. I thought the water in the bathroom was because it was recently washed. The next morning, when i went to the bathroom, the puddle was still there. I had to sit with my feet in the water, while on the toilet. I tried to use some towels, but the puddle was to big to be absorbed by the towels. 3) There was mold on the carpet near the bathroom door. 4) the lights near the bed didn't work: one didn't turn on and the other had the on/off switch broken. B) Problems with GDPR: 1) the receptionist asked me to complete a form and provide an email address. I specifically said that i DO NOT want my email address to be inserted in any type of newsletter or promotional campaign, because it was may business email. I also said that i want it to be used simply for the delivery of the invoice in electronic form. I specifically checked the relevant checkbox only for the electronic invoice option and i specifically said "I DO NOT AGREE" to the checkbox and section with the ACCOR hotels club. However, in the very next day after my checkout, I have received 1 mail saying "welcome to the Accor Hotels Club". The next day i received a second email with some promotions. When i received the 2nd email i called the hotel, explained everything and specifically asked them to REMOVE my EMAIL from their newsletter. The next day i received a 3rd mail with other promotions, this was the first of the 3 to have an UNSUBSCRIBE button. I used it. Now i received this email asking me to rate my experience... 2) the parking ticket that i was supposed to display under my windshield, in the parking lot, contained sensitive info.

It was mediocre to bad, because of the room was old and shabby. My biggest concern was the fact that the door was also very old and wouldn't close unless strongly pushed closed. Due to its obvious shabbiness, I had security concerns while staying in the room.

Room: I was in suite 714 and collage in 314. There was no free 230V (or USB) in the sleeping room for phone/laptop charge. The only free outlets were at the desk by the main door, to far away. Also the WiFi signal in the slepping room was very low. So, better WiFi signal, make outlets (at best incl. USB) at the bedside tables and rearrange the desk room for better business comfort. Cleaning: The bathroom and the shower floor had a couple of hairs, NOT MINE, laying around all week... Breakfast: Up it a bit with better bread and tea and also keep the milk for the müsli cold. Reseption: Very nice and very service minded staff.

Very nice helpful personnel starting the booking by phone and finishing with us leaving the hotel. Very well located, we could see the beach from our window. Maybe the price could be smaller at this time of the year, in October.

It was a mistake asking for top floor. The shower went from really hot to really cold in a matter of seconds and backwards without touching it. After a storm we found water in our room, close to the balcony door. Yes, it was closed. The room carpets are always dirty and stained. Overall a lack in cleanliness was observed. One could clearly feel unwelcome at the restaurant. The personnel seemed not happy to be there. Reservation on Accor website still doesn't provide secure credit card payments, as in there is no place to enter your card's CVV code when booking.
