I dont find your staff at the reception to be customer friendly or probably its t he way they talk. But I can compare with other hotels I stayed in Bangkok and I can tell your front desk staff are generally not customer friendly. Should always be smiling to customer regardless of race, gender or age.

« Was great apart from the experience in the bar, where the service was terrible. The staff there really let you down. »

All staff and service were great except the bar staff who paid the clientele absolutely no attention at all. Rather than walk around to see if anyone needed any more drinks or the bill they stood behing the bar or chatted to and have service to a group hotel staff/ colleagues who were sitting in the bar. Had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come round so I could ask for a 2nd drink and about 20 more minutes before so could ask for the bill. The staff will not know of anyone wants anything if they hide behind the band listening to the entertainment.

I stay at the Grand Mercure because it is close to our Bangkok office. The hotel is not fancy as other Bangkok global chain hotels, but has good service. I enjoy the Club Lounge all the hotel. The hotel also offers 2 pieces of free laundry for our company, which is great. I think the hotel can improve by providing more body soap bottles in the room and more free water bottles. The size of the body soap bottle is so small and only 1 is provided, which is rather inconvenient! not enough. Always makes me feel kind of sad and cheap because I have to ration myself or have to call the hotel front for more. It would be nice not to have to do that. For the first time this time, I used the hotel spa and massage services... the massage rooms on the twelth floor are very scary... old and dark and dingy. May feel slightly unsafe for women traveling alone, even though in a nice hotel.

« Finally Get A Taste of Platinium Status Welcome »

All the staff crew in the lounge level was simply marvellous in service and with big smile in particluarly Ms Lakkana & Ms Porntip. Flexible in managing guest request and always friendly in rheie approach. I was glad i booked my trip in BKK at Grand Mercure Fortune. I finally get a taste of the Platinium status privileges with upgraded room and lounge usage. This is really ultimate and i definitely enjoy my stay with such privileages. I'll definitely pursue and continue my Platinium status with Accor Hotels.

I liked the club lounge and hospitality. I had a little difficulty to get good recommendations from concierge about where to go and lead the group for dinner. Maybe a folder of possible places for dinner in town with address, telephone number, etc would be good? In the end we found a wonderful fit, but it took a while longer than expected.

The staff is providing a best services especially the separate of Club check in counter. They provided me a box of breakfast when i have to check early of morning before breakfast time. I'm very impressed about it. The location is very nice with 500 m to MRT (Rama 9), also Fortune Tower is a big shopping mall especially IT devices. Overall is nice and happy to stay with this hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and the service that was provided was excellent. However there were a few issues with the two rooms I stayed in itself. I stayed for 13 days and my sleep was not the best. 1. The windows do not block out the noise from the streets making it difficult to sleep. Thicker glass needs to be in place. 2. The air conditioning makes awful sounds also making it difficult to sleep through the night 3. In the third room ( room 1809 ) the mini fridge kept making extremely loud noises randomly through the night. 4. The bathroom smells of drain so i suggest that some air fresheners be placed. All in all the quality of sleep was not great due to the reasons mentioned above but the hospitality and service provided by ALL hotel staff made up for it. A special thank you to the guys in the hotel who helped us constantly find taxi's every morning !

« Very nice hotel location within the city and nice ambience »

I liked the hotel location and ambiance in tho hotel. The location is very close to our office and very convenient by MRT and SRTET City line. This gives convenience to travel without rush in these trains and avoid traffic during rush hours and reach safely to airport. The hotel rooms are cozy and convenient for guest stay.
