Overall I’m just nearly satisfied with my experience at Mercure Nadi. As this was a short honeymoon trip ever plus the long flight to Fiji, upon arriving I and my spouse have to wait for nearly 3hrs before we are able to get our room as inform my the reception there’s no room available but to my astonishment, I have to wait till 1500hrs plus before able to get room. To add to that, the room we had, have less internet coverage and reception told me i’m allow only 1 password for each room. Only upon complaining, only i get additional internet password. On the good note, I would gladly say i still do have pleasant memories of the in-room team, dining team, tour desk personnel as well as guest arrival receiving team makes us at ease with their ongoing help and smile which makes us more comfortable. I think, there’s room for improvement in the near future.

The room was too small for a family of four - no option for separate beds for our children. The room was quite run down, especially the bathroom. The air conditioning in the room did not work particularly well, and there was no way to adjust it, so we did not sleep well at all during our 2 night stay. The service was particularly slow at the restaurant - we feel that waiting over 45 minutes for any food to come out was a bit too long, especially when we had young children ordering from the Kid's menu.

Beautiful place with a lovely view, close to airport and shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, very clean. The only thing missing is a lift to the 3rd floor where we stayed, it's hard to drag a suitcase up using stair.

I booked the hotel despite of relatively low rating by customers. For one night to overnight before the flight somehow OK. The room was not bad (bit too noisy aircon), but the service (may be we just were not lucky) was of very low quality. Check in extremelly slow, no member counter. No drink voucher provided. We did not get ordered room (with two beds), but rooms with one king size bed. Finally we decided not to complain at arrival, but I mentioned this fact at check out. No real and formal excuse (just statement that the price is the same). POnly paid ionternet, even for gold member.

At this stage I don't think I will be using Mercure Nadi again . The staff were good but we had several incidents that did not give us a good experience. Firstly the transport from the Airport was 45 mins late, following several phone calls, the toilet in the room would not flush, on advising reception someone came and did a quick fix but an hour later, would not flush again. At dinner my wife ordered Kokoda soup which arrived as a salad. I spoke to the manger the following day who was very gracious and accepted my comments. This happened on 22/08/19. We stayed for another night of 30/08/19 and had no complaint, but as before, found the room to be dark with minimal lighting. The hotel needs an upgrade.

Initial check-in took over 45 minutes as the team was not able to defer a cancelled and confirmed booking. Once this was resolved I was put into room 319 where by the AC was not working. There was a fan in the room and I was tired so didn't complain. I raised the issue the next morning and was advised that the maintenance team would attend to it. When I arrived in the evening, the AC was still not fixed so I was moved to another room. The second room was much better and everything was working. The rest of the stay was okay.

The arrival was from the counter staff was sort of alright felt they didnt have me on there list but came right and was sorted. I did start to feel a little uncomfortable. Bar staff were good. But didnt have the feeling they trusted me booking everything to my room, so I could pay in one lump sum to combine the credit I already had there waiting. Lunch was really great so expected the same for dinner. Ordered the special Lamp shank with a garlic bread. The dinner was cold and the lamb shank I couldnt cut with a knife to take any meat off, the meat ?? turned out to be crewy. Mash and veg little of, was good. I wished I had stayed with ordering the Garlic pawns for the price. So very disappointed. The rooms toilet didnt work properly so couldn't flush. My pillows had no protectors on them and were very well used. Lights didnt work outside on the porch. Tea with supplied milk powder was terrible in the room. Long life milk in a carton or container would have been far better especially to have a cup of tea in the morning of wake up. Disappointed with dinner, so didn't bother with breakfast the next morning. Staff was very good talking me to the airport as I was waiting for a bus to come and take me. My personal option Really think the room could have been improved. If you have blue tiles on the floor why then go with a brown under covers on the bed. Give an extra blanket if the air con cant be turned to low. I felt it quite cold after a while. At this stage I would not stay there again. My room was 309

We got 4 rooms for my family under the names Poullos R. Ingram & Kalouris the 2 couples left & rebooked at the Poulman the rooms where mouldy smelly the bed sheets dirty Poulos balcony door couldn’t be opened without straining a muscle in short not happy Just think about this Ingram & Kalouris had the rooms payed for & rebooked at the Poulman didn’t even bother about complaining It needs a lot of work to get to the star rating that it has By the way the food was very nice & the person singing very entertaining Regards George R.

The environment was very comfortable and service was tops.. .I like the staff being very curtious and especially the beautiful gentleman that was checking our name for breakfast on the 15th of August...he was singing to the song and modeling at the same time...it brought a smile to my face...thanks for having energetic and beautiful staff

On the first 2 nights I stayed at the Hotel, the air condition unit was not cool enough. I had mentioned this to a staff on duty and nothing was done about it. The 3rd night when I tried getting into my room, I didn't have access. I had to walk back to reception to report this as have my room Card activated to allow me access into my room. The explanation provided by the staff at reception did not make sense, as I had made a booking for 3 nights. It was good however to note that a fan had been placed in the room for use since the air condition was not reliable. I think the hot breakfast menu can be improved - sausages were not of the best quality.

Run down, sewer smell atrocious food

Our stay (2A,2C) was atrocious. We has an interconnected room as there was no family room. One room was unusable due to the sewer smell permeating the room (we were on the 3rd floor). Bathroom was uncleaned with toilet paper on the floor and human hair evident in the shower. Food was inedible with the lamb rogan nothing but grissle, the kids “meat hamburger” was Spam on an uncooked bun. Pizza was the only thing worth while.
