« Pleasurable stay »

The hotel was very accommodative. My husband's flight arrived early in the morning at Nadi airport and after the long trip he was very exhausted and was just looking forward to have a good rest. We were able to check-in by 10am at the hotel without any delay and we also didn't have to wait till the actual check-in time which is 2pm. We would like to request the management to look into the following issues : 1. improving the Air-conditioning since the cooling of room was low 2. Cleaning of swimming pool daily - we couldn't go for swimming as the pool was dirty. 3. The towels in the rooms for usage were partly torn. (We didn't complain) but that should be improved Please improve on the issues above. Apart from the above issues the rest of the other services were good. We look forward for a improved service in our next vacation. Vinaka-vakalevu Shirleen P.

« The staff were very professional and helpful. The food was fantastic. If I have a complaint it would be the state of the bathroom. The shower nozzle was dodgy and the tiles and grouting didn’t look too good. Otherwise our stay was great »

« Great, enjoyed the quite time we had, no phones, no internet etc. »

The weather was hot, but the air cooling managed ok. Once the road workes are finished it should be good. Vili your porter was fantastic, our minor problem we had he went out of his way to help. The only thing was the tv, not many channels to choose from. May be foxtel/satelite dish. Vili was fantastic, he was very friendly, very polite, very happy I will nominate him for employee for the month// year.

Some lighting were not working, bath room sliding door (room 318) gets stuck and comes off the rail easily. However, the staff was friendly and helpful especially checking us into our room way before the usual time (2 pm?).

Very tired rooms in need of refurbishment, repairs and updating, wifi was supposed to be in room but only worked properly in reception, TV unwatchable, aircon in need of a good clean inside, spitting out black sooty bits of dust. On day of departure we left our cases with them as we had a late flight. This was fine until we returned and ask if we could shower and change. THIS WAS REFUSED, not even letting us change our clothes. How many inconsiderate hotels like this around, not many, so we went to the airport and showered and changed. Perhaps we didn't tip enough or we we picked the wrong booking wesite. NEVER again at this particular hotel.

« Service personels were excellent. Rooms conditions were bad »

The pillows were old with cigarettes smells. bedsheets with unwashable stains. temperature of the central air could not be controlled, was blowing out non stopped cold air whole night. cockroach came out from the shower drainage. Complained to the management got changed a better room upstairs. things were better but the pillows are still stinky and old. need alot of improvements in the room conditions.

« Great staff, tired and dirty facility »

First thing, your staff are lovely! Well done to them for providing great friendly service. However, your rooms or at least the one I was in left a lot to be desired and certainly not up to the usual Accor standard.....the room itself was clean enough, as clean as you could make such tired furniture, fixtures and fittings. What really turned me off was the state of your linen, in a word disgusting, really grey and dirty and marked, the pillows, my god they stunk! I had to have them changed!!! The ones I got back weren’t much better... as someone involved in hospitality hygiene, I strongly suggest you get whomever provides your laundry chemicals or does your laundry to sort it out, this really wasn’t up to Accor standards.. and I stay in quite a few.

We regularly stay at the Mercure and again we are happy with the staff and the rooms. Maybe an increase in the range of breakfast food items could be considered. A safe deposit box would also be good to have in the rooms.

« Got what I've imagined »

The deluxe room at Mercure is exactly what it looks like on the pictures. I've stayed with Mercure before(superior room) and they've used the picture for the deluxe room for the superior room. It's abit misleading. The deluxe room is great. Great air-condition. Clean room. It has a nice bathtub. In the cupboard there was a dried rag that was probably wet and dumped in there, don't think the staff saw it when they cleaned it before we stayed. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The pool is clean. There are benches and beds to relax by it. Breakfast was good. Twice on different days, I've had the orange juice and it does not taste good, might need to look into a different alternative. Apart from that it was lovely. I would recommend staying at the deluxe room but if you just want a bed then the superior room is for you.

It was very average. Hotel is dated. Our bathroom was very worn and needed work. Our first night was extremely uncomfortable and we got up to find that it was because the mattress on our bed was flipped over and we had been sleeping on springs. The next morning we let reception know and we were told that they would inform housekeeping. We got back to the hotel later that night to find that it had not been done and the bed was made up again upside down??? We had to flip it and remake it ourselves.

i have stayed here many times before and know what to expect. The hotel is situated in a convenient location now tht the roading ha been improved greatly. I cant recomend the restuarant though, but there are plenty of good one handy
