Friendly staff greeted us at reception with minimum fuss, we were booked in and gave us our room key code, our room was clean and well presented, after eating at one of the recommended restaurants we had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. we had opted or the breakfast deal which was as always great value with quality fresh produce and good coffee. we will be back again

We were not welcomed at check in. Both receptionists were dealing with one customer and did not acknowledge us waiting. Eventually we were rushed through check in with no warm welcome, there was quite a queue. On arrival to the room it smelt really badly of cigarettes. Disappointing for non smokers in a non smoking room. The air con also didn’t work. As such, we slept with the window open so were woken early hours of the morning by other hotel guests shouting in the car park. Really disappointed with this hotel as always stay with Ibis

We arrived later than expected and tired after an 11 hour journey to be greeted by smiling staff on reception who had us booked into our room in no time at all, we asked about food and they advised on the local restaurants, after a good nights sleep in a comfy bed we had a pleasant breakfast and felt refreshed for our onward journey.

Filthy, tiny room, bathroom falling apart

The staircase towards the room was worn down, dirty, just shabby. The room itself had a sewer smell, was incredibly gross (huge mud stains on the floor, dirty shower and bathroom door, bugs on the wall,...) We took pictures because no one would believe this if we told them. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet (too small). The bathroom furniture was literally falling apart. I'm OK with a small room, but this one was tiny; honestly very uncomfortable. The bunk bed was not made, the person at reception told us that it would be too dangerous for the staff to get up there. And yet, it's fine for customers to do it? Unacceptable! When you book a hotel instead of a hostel, you expect the beds to be made! We got there after a very long drive, like most people, and I was very dissatisfied. The beds weren't very comfortable, but the pillows were even worse. They were very small and thin. I've been trying to say something positive about this place, but can't! Even the soap dried out our hands, and the towels seemed new and didn't absorb any water. We've been to so many Accor hotels, but this was honestly a disgrace. Never again!

Not clean rooms

The double beds were clean. The bunk beds above the double beds were disgustingly filthy. We paid for two rooms. In _both_ rooms the bunk beds were very dirty. The under sheet had not been changed. It was very dirty. There were human pubic hairs clearly visible. There was dirt and dust all around the mattress in both rooms. As a result, our youngest child slept in the double bed with us – which meant we did not get a good night’s sleep. All of this was so annoying we forgot to return to the desk and reserve breakfast, and so we also had no breakfast as I was not allowed to purchase any in the morning. We have stayed at Ibis many times over many years. These rooms were the dirtiest I have ever seen. You need to change your cleaning approach. I recommend the following: 1. Remove mattress from the cot bed. 2. Remove and replace the under sheet. 3. Stand on the ladder with a vacuum cleaner. 4. Vacuum the area where the mattress is normally placed. 5. Replace the mattress with the clean under sheet. Also, we booked two rooms (as I said) and in one room we booked for two adults and a child. Therefore you knew that in one room we would need to use the bunk bed, and the double bed. But you did not even bother to make the bunk bed, only the double bed. Instead the bedding was just left on the bunk bed. This is not welcoming and not a pleasant experience when you enter the room. So, not a good stay for us. Neil D.

We had the feeling that the rooms smelled of smoke of some plastic residue from the furniture. Later we found out it was the bed sheets. Prefered the room with double bad and fantastic badroom I had last time Receptionist was obviously new but helped us with all demands immideately

The location of the hotel designing and facilities are absolutely fantastic. Checked in during very busy Friday night period - receptionist did not have our name, we had to wait for nearly 20 minutes while priority was given to drop-in customers vs pre-booked reservations. 3rd child bed was not made and towell was missing. Still, peaceful and quiet location offers great rest, yet id within easy reach of good shopping and dining amenities.

Newly painted room, comfy bed and air con was a bonus. Quiet position but close to restaurants and easy access to autoroute. Good value with nice breakfast. Negatives were the toilet was badly stained. Did not receive SMS of room number after online check-in.
