« Really bad service and facilities »

1. I was writing (request) in the order form so I can do early check-in at 13.00 since my flight arrived early. However, I was able to check-in around 16.30ish due to room was not ready. 2. The water turns brown in the shower and closet (like really brown) and the water heater didn’t work on Sunday morning (before I checked out)

It has been a wonderful stay (as compared to my previous stay in 2015) in overall, except for the following areas for improvement. Great staff at the premier lounge. - None of the existing room signboards at level 9 directs to my room (9153). - Air con in my room was kinda noisy throughout the stay. - Not sure why but both my room key cards malfunctioned on couple of occasions. - Rooms should probably be equipped with iron and ironing boards instead of having the guests to request

The room is clean, facilities are awesome but in terms of service I think there's a lot to improve. It is a family friendly hotel, I got to borrow a bottle warmer to warm breastmilk for my baby. Not only that the restaurant also helped to freeze my ice packs for me. I am grateful for that. The hotel room is definitely lovely and spacious. The connecting rooms are perfect for family. My son loved the koi pond and he even had opportunity to feed the fishes. However, I was shocked when I wasn't able to enter my hotel room after 12:30pm. I haven't even checked-out formally and I was informed by the operator that I can check out at 1pm. I couldn't use the lift to go to level 8, but managed to as another commuter was going to the same level. So I checked with the Premier Lounge but apparently they were unable to check as the system was down. To my horror I was stranded outside my room for a good 10minutes with my family. So my Mother-in-law went down to the Lobby as advised by the staff at Premier Lounge, went up and couldn't enter still. I think it's quite ridiculous that all our keycards are deactivated even before we officially checked out. So when we were about to leave, I called the operator requesting for the concierge help, none came and when I called again to follow-up, the operator sounded frustrated. In the end, we brought our bags ourself. I am not sure why am I paying for premium service for such bad service. I also tried the spa service and had my massage in the convenience of my room. The funny thing was, they couldn't charge to the room and if I wanted to use credit card, I have to go down to level 5 to make payment. I find it quite absurd.

It is of course disappointed to read that , while some aspects of your stay were positive, we clearly failed short in regards to your expectations.For our check-out time is at 12 which is mean all key cards will be deactivated automatically by our system unless if there is a special request to have late check-out upon arrival. If the guest request to have late check out after arrival, then the key should be updated in our Front Desk and that's what our operator missed to inform you. As for Spa, we have remind the therapist that they could help guest for credit card transaction in the room. We shall review our team member performance especially in Front Office department to ensure this won't happen in the future. Let’s be re-assured that I’ll be sharing your comment with my team. Once again thank you for your feedback that allows us to look into detail area for our review and improvement and It is our hope to be able to serve you better in your next visit in Novotel Jakarta Mangga Dua Square. Your reception staffs are extremely slow and not very friendly. You need to carefully select your front desk as they represent your hotel images!!! Too bad that I forgot his names.

Early check in,front desk say need to come again after 2pm really tired that time...taken my deposit 100 thousand rupiah then the next day went for b/fast the waitress desk ask if i have voucher given with arrogant look like i m local no money to pay...i go front desk again and ask i thought its include in booking system.last went to chk out i ask the front desk how much i have to pay....but the front desk say no need...then i ask about my deposit money he say they no money that been given...??? Novotel Mangga Dua Hotel has always been my first choice during my stay in Jakarta. In addition to the place that is easy to reach by travel Cross and I think the place is comfortable. I've been traveling alone, but this time I brought my big family to stay for about a week. Lots of new things from this hotel, specially the newly refreshed swimming pool look, as well as some newly refurbished room decor. Only very unfortunate this change also gives some of our constraints and inconveniences in the hotel. Our first problem was in the bathroom. This is my first stay in a deluxe room. Our problem is in the toilet that uses ecofriendly model. not easy to use it for the unfamiliar, especially if his space is too narrow for me who is big and my brother is tall. For my mom it's also a bit hard to use. The second is still in the bathroom, the lack of towel or clothes hanger, it is very difficult for us to support the safe 21 program that is using our towels again. So every day we had to replace the towels and one time we ended up having a bit of trouble getting a new towel. Next our problem was at breakfast. The absence of a knife on the dining table, which made us have to ask for it when we needed it, was a little inconvenient for us. However in general we were satisfied and comfortable staying in the Novotel Mangga Dua hotel. Friendly staff very helpful to us. thanks.

It was an excellent service by each & every one of the staff from the receiving security, bell boys, reception, room boys, restaurant, swimming pool and so on and on of all the staff in Novotel! Of course 1 very special person who not only gave her professional service to us but also to other guests, is Ibu Lian. It is Stars like them that make Novotel way beyond superb services. Hotel room is clean n tidy. Swimming pool is clean. But the kids playing room is hot n not much i can do there. Check in take more than 10 minutes. It's all paid off after my saughter satisfied wuth this hotel n she was happy playing on the hotel.
