The place is clean and the staff is very nice but the room is very small, as I travel for business, there is not even a table to work on it. You need to purchase a breakfast coupon to be able to have it on site, so when there is a queue of people checking in or checking out, which was my case, then you wait 20 mins to get your coupon breakfast... far away from my business expectations, so this is probably the last time I'm staying in Mercure Tokyo.

Good location, clean, friendly staff. The only thing that need to be improve is internet connection. Wifi sometimes didn’t work well and slow connection.

Nice stay with good location which close to the train station. There are a number of convenient stores nearby. However, the room is a bit small with not much space to even open a big luggage.

« Bad Experience!! »

I'm having bad experience with this hotel. I have to admin, that I'm careless, don't put my children when I'm booked through apps. But at the time at first I arrive in the hotel that day, the receptionist still accept me and even asked me how many people that want to stay (checked my passport also). Don't complain bout this. Due to still in the morning, I haven't got room. Then I decide to tour around the city. Then trouble comes when I arrive at night around 8pm, the receptionist don't accept my children due to I haven't put my children into the list. Then I very complained bout this. how come problem arise in the night, when in the morning there's no problem. I have to pay up to 10K yen for this additional. Then my children start to cry when they know that they will be separated from parents. After a long debated, the hotel decide to accept me and my family to stay. Bad experience for me.

« Acceptable but underwhelming »

For the price I'd paid, I was underwhelmed. The front service team was great though. I was travelling on business, and there was no suitable area to use as a work station -only a lounge chair and a small round side table. I found the laundry prices extremely expensive - especially as I'd planned to get laundry done on a Sunday, which would have incurred a 100% additional charge on top of the normal rates. Thankfully I was directed to a coin laundry 10 mins walk away. The elevators are slow. I only used the breakfast restaurant once, on my last day. I hadn't included breakfast in my room rate, but decided I would take breakfast at the hotel on Tuesday morning. When I was greeted by restaurant staff, I was instructed to go to the front counter to purchase a ticket for breakfast - why can't you have facilities to charge to guests rooms at the restaurant itself?

« Well located, well appointed »

We were recommended this hotel by a few friends who stayed here before. It’s located above a metro station and a JL station is nearby as well as another metro station that provides direct access to Haneda and Narita airports. So getting there is very easy. The rooms were a good size and bed comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a good range between normal “western” and Japanese options. Would definitely stay here again!

« Ok but housekeeping requires further improvements. Non English speaking staff require further training in English comprehension. »

The main gripe is the English comprehension of your staff. Please provide further training on this. The incident was: instead of your front reception staff providing the requested water (there were no water bottles in the room when we returned after a long day out), we were questioned by the staff whether we had changed the tag for the room and whether we have checked the whole room. Your hotel has cameras in the hall way for which you will be able to see if your housekeeper has done their job. For your front reception to interrogate us in this manner is not acceptable since we are paying guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mercure. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Location is great. Room given to us was huge and I like the FREE snacks, drinks and bottles of water provided to us DAILY. We’ve never experienced that in any 4 or 5 stars hotel in places we have been to in our past travels. So, thanks heaps Mercure Ginza. « Good hotel with great location »

I booked this hotel for 5 nights during a business trip and the location was great as your are close to several JR and metro lines within walking distance. The room was quite small as it is to be expected in Tokyo but it was very modern, clean and overall in very good condition. The hotel does not have a gym and only a bar in the evening, no in-house dinner is available. Overall I enjoyed my stay a lot and will most likely stay here again during the next trip.

« Nice Hotel »

Nice Hotel situated in the heart of Ginza. All staff efficient and very pleasant. Room was great. We had a privilege room on floor 12 which just been renovated. Only drawback was that there is currently no restaurant at this hotel, they serve Breakfast but not dinner. Because of this the bar is very quiet.
