Although the stay in the hotel was satisfactory. I felt cheated when I discovered that my credit card was charged with the breakfast fees (u$s 15). My reservation clearly stated that breakfast was included. When I first checked-in, the receptionist told me that it was not included. After I showed the reservation he confirmed that yes, it was included (in bad English). But now I've to pay extra. I've traveled all around the world and it is the first time it happened to me. I'm really dissatisfied. Of course I'll rate accordingly in Tripadvisor and booking.com

I only stayed with you for a couple of hours as I was in transit. I came in from SP late at night and then I had to take another plane in the morning. What i remember from the trip was that the staff were super friendly and really nice. There was a guy at the reception who was so adorable, I can't quite remember his name, younger guy with short hair, light brown skin, ear piercing and glasses (maybe Gabriel?, but not sure), super nice guy. And then the girl who served me breakfast in the morning so was incredibly nice as well. it was great!!!!!

Room was ok clean towels were there each day. Lifts were frequently out of service so do to amount of people using them it was nearly always a while to wait . There was a fire alarm that went off at 1 pm of 28/12/18 , at no point did staff interact with guests , no communication on weather we we all ok and no explanation on what reason was , no fire register was taken to see if all guests were present and accounted for , of which surely this is a company policy ? . I found this quite disturbing as no reason was given to why alarm had gone off . It made myself and partner in easy rest of stay and we considered changing hotels but that would have impacted on our financial position for rest of stay . So apart from the day time and early evening staff who were very helpful the rest of the stay was unnerving not knowing if we were safe or not .

Everything in the restaurant was dirty: table, glasses, floor... The food was horrible! The bed was not properly tidy. The TV definition was a disaster. The staff was not enaugh trained.

« Good and convenient hotel »

Hotel is very close to the Santos Dumont airport. Localization is a relevant point to be pointed out. The room follows the IBIS hotel standard. The room is clean and can sleep well. Internet is good, and it is another point to point out. The breakfast is good, and the restaurant is open for dinner (I was not in the hotel during the lunch time).

« Good, but some minor issues »

Good hotel and breakfast. The bed is comfortable and the shower works well. Hotel is old and needs some renovation. One elevator wasn’t working. My room(883) was a non smoker room, but had a bad smell. I recommend fixing that. But the overall experience was good. Thank you

Nice one nights stay at Ibis near Santos Durmont airport, the hotel has a restaurant which was open at night which was good for me, unfortunately as a vegetarian they didn't have the vegetarian burger which I wanted. Breakfast was well stocked and tasty, service friendly, very clean room and no problems.

« Great Customer Service, but not perfect. »

Staff, from the kitchen, housekeeping and front desk, were very attentive to evey question and request I made, which made my stay very pleasant overall. Breakfast could be improved: eggs had a rotten smell over the weekend. This improved on Monday, but overall quality of offerings could be examined. It would be nice to let guest now you have additional toiletries (i.e.: toothpaste) available when checking in. I noticed a sign on your front desk when checking out. Suggested improvements: Water fountains on every floor and additional channels for tv.
