great staff, rooms and service, breakfast was awesome and so close to the lake front, restaurants, cafes and bars, also being an accor member we got to use the Novotel facilities which included their hot pools

« Not much at breakfast for my wife and l at it was taken away around 10am.Not good.we had breakfast after that the next 2 days at Novotel EXCELLENT. »

Locked out of ROOM twice.Room not serviced .WE asked for clean coffee cups the dirty ones were taken into bathroom are cleaned and dryer with who knows what. This is the first time we have ever complained.NOT GOOD AT ALL.

We arrived at the Ibis only to find that Bookit had messed up our booking and the room we requested wasn't available. Dave at the hotel desk was wonderful! He tried his best to find us a room similar to that which we'd requested, and when that failed he organised a roll-away bed so that we still had a comfortable night. Thank you Dave. Your service was outstanding! With the extra bed in the room things were a little cramped, but the room was clean and the beds very comfortable.

No service at all .., old furniture,, no selections in food menu,, dirty room ,, towels smell bad.., they bring food in plastic can , they don’t have even food plates.

Pleasant welcome. Disappointed that the food is only hamburgers and pizza. Given good directions to adjoining Novotel for buffet dinner which was so so. Staff very friendly however.

The hotel itself was great a very good standard for the price paid, room was very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff however were unapproachable, rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Initially upon check in telling me she couldn’t find my reservation, I am a travel agent and had to explain to her the room types booked. Then she asked me to pay, however the room was already paid in full. If one of my customers had been in my situation this would have made them upset and frustrated as they may have taken her word for it rather than correcting her and making her check again to then say she was wrong.

Nice employees and good breakfast. The building and room is quite aged. The rooms are a wee bit claustrophobic and quite noisy.
