My stay was 2 weeks long, staff good helpful, house keeping little slow in attending calls, normally rooms are kept clean and tidy, this time felt not very clean until myself asked for full cleaning, I was accommodated in a connecting room where at times other guests stayed and it was uncomfort to both sides, kitchen cooking tools requires additional like frying pan. Also my Birthday fall during my stay at the hotel was expecting to receive greeting, unfortunately didn't.

Great breakfast, huge room. Gym is small but with all you need, I was in low seasons so no problem to find place. Behind the hotel few goods restaurants but all Seef area is very quite, no clubs or nice bars.

People were nice. When entered I found the balcony door of the room was open hence the room was very hot and humid. It was smelling as well. The bathroom sync was not draining properly. The shower was faulty. Towels looked old.

The suites are comfortable and clean. The staff are freindly and attentive. They see to your needs immediatly. I have stayed at many Accor hotels over the years, and the staff here is by far the best team i have seen; from the reception to the restaurant to the room service and housekeeping. Enjoyed 10 nights, fabulous check in and breakfast team (well done Sheila) and very spacious room. On a negative note no spare electrical sockets in bedroom, could not plug my mobile next to bed, after asking for an adapter, it was so old my charger kept falling out! Room service hit and miss

I have mixed feeling about my stay. As a long staying guest i was not impressed by some elements of the customer service, management approach and communications between hotel departments. I was initially put into a loud room adjacent to the service lift, meaning i couldn't sleep and i had to ask to change rooms. I constantly had to chase up the delivery of my laundry, and finally there was confusion about my check-out date and transfer arrangements to the airport (despite an email from my company confirming this). The attitude of the bar manager is very poor and i would suggest he is not suited to a role in customer service. On a positive note the rooms were kept very clean by Martha, and i found the breakfast staff (in particular Sheila) and spa staff to be very friendly and helpful. I will be returning to the hotel at the end of June and hope to see an improvement in the above areas, otherwise i will be recommending that my company ceases using the hotel moving forward.
