« I experienced two unpleasant experiences. The first one with a restaurant waiter at breakfast time and the one was with the airport shuttle (7 am on September 12, 2018) »

It would be much appreciated to have Kleenex in the room. Also the tv channels selection needs considerable improvement.

Staying was ok im 1 of u coleague working mercure london i did on phone booking witch waiting for Gm to be accepted my bien venue card witch send email bo reply at all When checked well welcomed from reception Hocine well trained on breakfast witch is didnt accpte my bien venue card and they want to charge my son 8 years old full price for breakfast its seems to me staff was not inaf trained or had all information ovellroll all ok

I have been using IBIS Algiers when traveling for business or leisure (with my family) and this since so many years. But looks like I will not use it again unless the hotel will resume with the standard. It is disappointing to see the level of the degradation of the Hotel. When we start to see cockroaches in the reputed hotel of the Accor Group, it does not encourage to come back. The shuttle used to be every 30minutes which is convenient for guests, it turns to every hour now. I believe that IBIS Algiers hotel needs a real renovation and cleaning before the hotel will lose all the clients.

The staffs at the reception were quite welcoming. However, the room was too small and there wasn't even a small bottle of water there, nothing at all. You must put a little fridges there ! But what really irritated us was the Navette driver, he had no manners at all, he acted like he was doing a favour. This guy should learn how to smile and talk politely to customers. He kept repeating to us that we were late and he was supposed to already leave the hotel to the airport. But it wasn't our fault; the guy at the reception was nice and said that the driver can wait an extra 5 minutes so we could finish our breakfast. For the price we’ve paid, we should have received a better service. Bests

Good at reception, also at check out, didn't consider breakfast satisfactory, there was not much options (no fresh fruit, no cheese besides a fresh but too fat/sugary cheese), viennoiseries are a too sugary option but besides bread were the only option. Therefore i only had breakfast once in the hotel.

Good experience overall as usual. Staff friendly, supportive and helpful most of the time from reception to house keeping. Some other staff at the bar especially should be further trained to be more polite and service oriented when interacting with customers. I have a comment about the welcome drink which should be better managed by staff. Each has his own interpretation of what is included and this defeats the purpose of the welcome drink which becomes a refusal drink. For example, it is silly and rude to refuse a customer with a welcome drink voucher a beer because there is no draft beer available when many bottles are available!
