I had an issue with a very long check in time from arrival took nearly 15 minutes. Needed to iron a shirt the ironing room had one filthy iron which left a large black mark across my shirt I asked for a different one which the staff was not able to provide and did not seem interested in even attempting to look for one.

« It was fine... but pricey. »

After having a little issue with the keycard not opening the door (I tried 20+ times to be sure), I had to get my card reactivated by the helpful lady on reception. The room was clean tidy and nicely lit. However, the TV remote didn't seem to work... no bother. For what I needed (a place to rest) the room was fine if a little constricted and it was a shame that there were no room facilities such as a kettle and coffee/tea. There wasn't even any bottled water. All in all I found this rather expensive for what I paid for the room and though there were no major issues (just gripes), I'd find it rather hard to find a reason to return when there are other places closer to Birmingham city centre for less (Staycity) with much nicer rooms/apartments to stay in.

Close to china town and city centre. Good secure parking at a great price. Helpful staff and although basic the room was adequate and spotlessly clean. One not to be missed for the business.or leisure travellers.

The room, although on the small size, was perfectly adequate for 1 night, the Hotel itself is perfectly situated close, but not too close, to the city centre with parking, which is a bonus and a nice breakfast for a budget price.
