« The Hotel has an excellent position within the city for my business purposes, friendly staff, clean and tidy. »

The hotel was booked by my Brazilian colleagues. Next to the convenient position, I had a quiet room, which was neat, tidy and well cleaned. The breakfast buffet was just for my taste not enough variety of fruits and yoghurts, which I enjoy. However, certainly enough to get on the way with a normal continental type of breakfast. Staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. Good stay.

Staff were excellent. Lack of hangers in the room, power sockets was a bit of a let down laundry was very slow, asking for shirts on hanger and they turn up folded, with no iron in the room.

« Simple hotel, good for overnight stay and no more. Reasonable value for money. »

This hotel is very simple and basic. Suitable for those who are looking for overnight accommodation and move on. Clean rooms with basic facilities Reasonable service and no more. There is no feeling of warm and pleasant hospitality. Number of points for improvement: 1. The hotel needs immediate maintenance. Many lamps do not work and the public areas look neglected (not the rooms). 2. The hotel is outrageously decorated. This is not the standard design of the Accor network! 3. Breakfast needs an deep and urgent upgrade! The menu is very thin, with no vegetables at all and not inviting! Hotel is very cheap but needs upgrades in service leagues. Reasonable value for money.

The hotel seems need renovation, lots of leaks in the walls. Also because of renovation in nearby buildings the hotel windows were very dirty. The bed sheet looked dirty and unchanged, has only the bottom sheet and a smelly quilt.

« Good facilities but not so clean. Mold everywhere. »

My overal experience was good except in two points: 1- There was mold all over the first room I was given (8th floor) and even in the second one (room 1011 in the 10th floor) there was a musty smell and mold in the curtains. Terrible for allergic people. 2- Breakfast was good but could be better. Restaurant also could be cleaner.

« Reception service great. Hotel needs serious maintenance »

Everyone at the front desk was very helpful, professional and efficient. The hotel hallways are dark - the lights do not go on until you are walking in the dark and finally a motion sensor detects you and the light goes on. The hallways are disgustingly dirty on the floors. There is considerable water damage around the hotel in the walls and ceiling and under the air conditioner in my room, which is some areas, like the reception, result in a damp and musty smell. The air conditioner in my room worked in that I could turn it on or off, but the temperature could not be adjusted up or down. The windows are not soundproof so there is a lot of traffic noise with trucks and motorcycles, 24 hours a day. The sink in my room did not drain well. The rooms are spacious with good layout and furnishings but the rest of the glitches negate the nice rooms.

« Very comfortable stay »

Mercure Manaus is the perfect hotel for business but also for pleasure. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are quite large. Big shower. Good air conditioning. Great breakfast. The WiFi is free and works in all areas. The staff are very nice. Within walking distance of Manauara Mall (great shopping!) and Carrefour. I would stay there again.

The hotel is well-run. The rooms are nicely quiet and with good facilities. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and diverse. However, breakfast staff could be much quicker with e.g. bringing plates and things that run out.

« Nice Staff but Old facilities »

The receptionist Bruno made our check-in a very nice experience but when we get to the room, we realized the bathroom and shower were in need of an update The neighbor is a Korean/Chinese restaurant that has lots of dogs at the backyard and did not let us sleep at night. I think the hotel should tell the restaurant owner that his dogs are barking at night like crazy

It was only one night stay. I had to change my room (due to a smoking smell). I would recommend more bread options for the breakfast. In fact I only found two types of sandwiches pre made (I prefer to prepare mine).

Two short stays, arriving late (12h30 am) the first night and for juts half day the second time. Special mention goes to the night reception manager, James, who went out of his way to ensure that I was well received and got a good room.
