I ate at the Hotel both evenings. Menu was not very exciting. Quality and presentation of meals average at best. Suggest more effort goes onto presentation of dishes and a revamp of the menu.

However, we have Executive rooms where you will also have lotion body and conditioner. You also have slippers and bathrobes as well as a Nespresso machine in your room. The mini bar is for free. « A seamless and hospitable experience! »

Loved our stay at the hotel. It was an overall satisfying experience. The staff were very resourceful and always helpful. The food was great!...I would like to specially mention Miss Claire and Mr Theo at the front desk, they were just amazing! In future if my travels bring me to Bordeaux again, Id reckon this hotel is gonna be my first choice! Merci beaucoup!

Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff a bit absent particularly in the bar and restaurant. Staff coming through the rooms whilst waiting were less than helpful, nearly rude. Food ok but very limited choice that has not changed in a long time. Specials hand written in French only so hard to translate Car parking a joke and I am familiar with the "system" anybody new has no chance of getting it right.

But we also have the Novotel Menu available in English. Our hotel doesn't have its own car park. However we have two solutions for our guests : the outside car park and the secure one, the public underground car park. We are aware that the ticket system when you have to get it to the reception before going to the car park is not convenient, but we depend on the system of the public car park and this is not our choice unfortunately. « Good but few things could have been much better - the hotel needs huge improvements »

Probably not the right time to be in La Havre. Hence, did not see a lot of people working in the hotel. No security staff, nobody to help with the luggage, nobody dedicated at the restaurant, nobody at the breakfast area (at least for the 1st 2 days), no AC in the wellness area......and so on.........everything is working but no special attention/care. The room cleanliness needs huge improvement - especially the carpets and the corridor. THE BREAKFAST MENU (each and every item) WAS EXACTLY THE SAME FOR ALL THE 4 DAYS!!! Overall we had a OK stay. The location is nice.

Nice clean room, with plenty of space, bathroom very well kept. A safe in the room, which is a good unit to store personal items in. Very good TV snd nicely sized. Limited tea and coffee making facilities, I ended up buying tea bags, powdered milk and sugar.

I choose this hiotel because it was conveniently located. It is near the railway station and in a short walking distance from the town center (about 20 minutes). It was a nice stay, the staff was very kind and check in and ot was quick

Good location as it is close to the mall. But old building and not very impressive. Plus it's been over two weeks and they have not emailed me my bill which I need for my reimbursement. Already sent them an email but still no response.

Hotel feels like a hospital. Cold, uninviting with lack of decoration. The toilet was not properly cleaned, it had 'leftover' from the previous guest, it was disgusting. No proper toilet paper, only tiny pieces of hand wipers and the wiper dispenser fell apart all the time. Bland restaurant food, waitress doesnt speak even basic english. One morning at breakfast the staff yelled at me b/c apparently I sat to a table that was reserved for lunch. Of course there was no sign and the staff's attitude was unacceptable. Breakfast tables are set up with spoon and knife, but not fork. Who uses a knife without a fork? And this was not by mistake, all tables were setup this way. The coffee machines use milk powder, not fresh milk. There is fresh milk at another table, but no hot milk, only cold. I was not upgraded to an exec room as a platinum guest. Agreement was that the minibar (which in reality is a disgusting old fridge that smells vinegar) would be filled up every day like an executive room. It was filled up once, never again. Mentioned it at the front desk twice, then gave up. Asked for the invoice at checkout, got a paper that was not an invoice, just a charge summary. Got a copy invoice later in email, but not the original one. The original is needed by the company. Overall, the worst overall hotel experience I had in a long time.

Regarding the upgrade, as a Platinium member you have the priority for upgrades in case of availabilties. We were fully booked on November 20th and 21st because of a big event in Le Havre, thus we could not upgrade you for your whole stay. I will send you an original copy of your invoice by email this morning. I was in room 119 just above the hotel kitchen and it was horribly noisy. I really had the impression to be in the kitchen until midnight.
