Staff at the Mercure Pattaya are always polite and helpful, unfortunately the place needs an overall, the rooms are really showing their age. Due to the general condition of the hotel the value for money is very average compared to what else is available in the area. And they have gone back to the old rubbish bacon again for breakfast, Yuk.

I would like to use coupon for upgrade room to corner but reception was reject and will upgrade room to family only, which we're not child so family room was not necessary for us. She was said that corner room was full but I have check with website at that time, it's available.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice big comfortable bed but cabinets particularly in the bathroom are functional but showing signs of wear. Aqua bar and swimming pool are great.

« Good hotel & worth the price »

Good facilities. The room show some wear & tear but satisfied. Excellent beverage at the cafe in breakfast room. Very nice staffs. Ps : my nights have been count only 1 instead of 2. And my check in place app still haven't acknowledged.

It was an overnight stay wherein we checked in quite smoothly and the staffs were very accommodating and helpful. However, we were on the side facing the street and we could hear the party sounds up until 2am in the morning.

Had a few problems in the room. When we reached the bathroom sink was not draining. Hardly any water comes out of the shower. No water pressure. One night the Aircon started leaking water. We had a mini flood in the room. After putting towels to soak up the water we had to sleep in the heat with aircon off and door open. Swimming pool lacked fresh water and seemed very unclear water. Breakfast was strictly ok.

I have stayed at Mercure at Nador (Morroco) , Mercure at Lavasa(India) , Novotel at Santos they were simply very good with a very courteous staff however I will rate this as my worst experience with Accor group of hotels.The staff at reception was not at all courteous. The condition of room was poor the hotel definitely needs renovation. The paint condition on walls is bad the decor condition is pathetic. During check the reception staff initially flatly denied to give me original copy of my food bills however after brief discussion they finally agreed to give me a 1 original copy of food bill, how can someone deny an original copy of food bill which the guest is paying for.

I stayed many times at hote and enjoyed it very much. Although the hotel facilities are basic and need some updates, but the hotel staff will make sure that you'll have a comfortable enjoyable and relaxing stay, especially when you are an Accor member.

Great experience with helpful staff. Location is very central, but right now there is a bit of construction noise from the adjacent site. Hotel is a bit old but well maintained.

We have just stayed at the Mercure Pattaya for six nights and had a wonderful time, it is always good to return here, I like the central location. A friendly welcome from the staff, our room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the swimming pool, breakfast in the restaurant was a good start to the day before relaxing by the pool or venturing out. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of the beach, shopping, restaurants and nightlife, there is always something to do.
