The overall stay was very nice. The hotel is located in the heart of Pattaya. Rooms are nice and clean. The staff in the hotel is very friendly. The pool area is very nice and relaxing. However, "invasions" of Indidan tour groups can be a pain (at breakfast and at the pool).

As an Accor property, we have an outstanding reputation for guest service and satisfaction to live up to and it is clearly apparent that we did not manage this during your group’s time with us. As Hotel Manager it is ultimately down to me to address any issues raised by our valued guests therefore I would like to take this opportunity to respond to your review. I am truly sorry regarding the behavior of Indian guests at the breakfast. Despite talking to the tour guides to address them, and having placed signs for this, it seems to not be working. I have already spoken to the F&B manager, and we are planning to have separate areas for breakfast. One for hotel guests, and the other only for Indian tour guests when they in house. As for the pool area, I have addressed the F&B and Front Office team to regularly monitor these incidents moving forward, so quick actions can be taken on the spot. Your constructive comments are of immense value in providing a focus for improvement of the hotel products and services. Thank you for giving us the opportunity of improving our services, your time invested in sharing your opinion is greatly appreciated. The rooms and breakfast are fine but the continuous excessive noise in the hallways made sleeping impossible.

The location of this hotel is very good. The rooms are fine. Breakfast is good. There is a recent shift towards more Chinese and Indian customers, who are very noisy in the hallways at all times. Several people left their doors open, even at night and shouted out loud to other rooms. Crying children could be heard at all hours. Everybody seemed to talk loud in the hallways at all times. Unfortunately Western sleeping habits are not compatible with these other cultures. All this continuous noise made sleeping extremely hard. Even at breakfast it was extremely noisy with people shouting at each other all the time. On top of that I had a voucher for a room upgrade that I could not use, because the hotel was fully booked.

Booked 19 nights, staff were very good, but the hotel was overrun with bus loads of Indians pushing there way into the lifts and running about the corridors in the night. Rooms dated, will not be returning. Very disappointed!!

I have stayed here on many occasions, 5 minutes to lk metro and 10 minutes to walking street. The mercure has a great pool area. If you get good price it has everything. Small bathrooms though.

I stayed in a family room type for a night which the is lovely for kids as well the facilities of pool and play area. Staffs are all polite. Almost perfect, just one thing is the cleanliness. I found that the room is not really clean especially kids beds; the dolls, the bed sheet, and the blanket.

I've stayed at Mercure Pattaya several times and always enjoyed it. I was disappointed that they no longer have the shuttle to Second Road. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast offered many choices. One morning the dinning room was almost full with guests which wasn't a problem. But when some went to get food, their seats were taken even though it was obvious they hadn't finish breakfast. At my table while I was eating, a guest who was passing put his empty juice glass on my table. This same group of guest also sat in others' poolside chairs. I also saw a man blow his nose in the pool. Disgusting! I didn't enter the pool again! I realize that the hotel isn't responsible for guests' behavior.
