This is a good time for family at Mercure Pattaya. We are all happy to stay at this hotel. Next time, if we have opportunity, we will stay at Mercure again. This hotel can provide to suit with our budget also

« Bad rest . »

Noisy room due to air cond and street Old beds not comfortable. Pain in my back for 4 nights. Bad hard pillows. No electricity from 9 am to 4 pm No compensation or gift from hotel in contradiction with the letter left in room.

« Good but could be better »

The hotel was generally good. I found some of the staff friendly and some not so. I compare this to my last stay in a Pattaya hotel, the Avani hotel. This is a more expensive hotel but staff overtly friendly and this costs nothing. The room was clean and reasonably well equipped. During my stay the tv channels. Hanged and I lost sports channels I was predominantly watching and replaced by inferior ones. Building work was going on in hotel, regarding aircon units. This resulting in us being told we had to move room for work to be carried out. After the move work was being done in surrounding rooms which woke us up and made staying in the room unbearable. There were a lot of good points. Some of the staff are helpful. Toh the manager was very helpful. They acknowledged my birthday with a cake and card! The facilities and location are excellent so I would stay again.

I was so much happy to stay at this hotel and see this hotel staff, and I had really good time during the whole my staying at this hotel in this time as I stayed there before. To the front staff, thank you all for your kindness, friendliness and nice smile all the time To the room service staff, thank you all for the clean room which you made up all the time. To the restaurant staff, thank you all for the well-organized services you provided all the time. and To the CGM, thank you for the nice hand-written message card and also thank you for coming to see me at the front counter in this time. Hoping to come back to see you all again soon. I’m also expecting to see the renewal of this hotel bar next time.

this is not a frist time stay , we're the Mercure returned guest in last 3 years and we visit twice a year .We has been waked up around 1 am because the refrigerator making very lounds noise which we have to contract receiption and asked for technical service to fix it or remove it and this was the frist night of our stay { we booked 10 nights}. Our room has located nearest evalators and floor above main entrance and drop off point which was unsuitable for 10 nights relaxing vacation because we heard coaches in and out , group of people talking, bus and coaches dropping or taking their group every early morning . We are going back again next year and we're hoping for better.

Overall staying in the hotel was a good experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. The construction work at the back of the hotel and the refurbishment of the pool bar were the only negative aspects of the stay.

« Just adequate considering deterioting conditions in hotel -yet room rates prices increases over the past 4 years. »

I am a regular stayer at the hotel and have seen deterioting standards to room - worn/stain chairs, poor hot water pressure, wallpaper peeling from seams, table lamps looking tired. However the most disappointing item on this visit was the upgraded split cooling system. Although considered an upgrade the positioning of units blows directly onto you when sleeping. Even moving the "louvres" in the downward position they are position for a short period of time and then reset themselves to blowing onto the bed. Neither the fan level nor the mode is acceptable and much too "blowy". As stated I am a regular to the hotel but this is the first time that I'm considering other options within this price range as I don't believe that one gets value as once before & now with the "upgrade" in cooling system this has just made the experience somewhat not pleasant. I feel I'm paying way to much for what one receives now. On the positive the staff and food were good.

Enjoyed a lovely stay, the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much and the location is ideal, only slightly downside was the actual state of some parts of the hotel and room (compared to other Accor Mercure hotels I've stayed in around the world) but not to the extent it would put me off visiting again and it looked like some refurbishment was underway.

Wonderful staff, from check in, bell boy, pool attendants , restaurant staff and housekeeping.All very friendly and helpful. The Friday and Saturday night BBQ buffet was excellent, and so was breakfast.

As usual a very good time was had. Staff in all section Great, The egg station cook was great , Bee makes a mean cup of coffee, and Par new what you wanted before you sat down, Pan was very attentive .The Bell boys are great ,Front Office Staff Led by Tim cannot do enough to help you , Toh has his staff well trained that it functions very well at all times day or night 24/7.

Found for a Mercure the hotel a little run down. Couldn't get hot water either in the shower. Had to also ask for my room to be cleaned.

« Old Hotel with good service »

I already inputted all my comments on Tripadvisor Only the service was very attentive and good. The hotel and room is old, the hotel is surrounded by buildings in construction making noise all day at pool or balcony, business area and bar were closed, breakfast was terrible (couldnt even cut the French baguette bread that was hard like wood!) and as a final gesture, at checked out, I was asked to pay 1Euro for a broken water glass (I had called to report). I was really surprised as a platinum accor member they asked me to pay 1Euro for a small glass broken !

« Comfortable Budget Hotel in Excellent Location »

We have a nice stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay. Anyway there is a construction surrounding the hotel area. maybe a little noisy during the day time. But the hotel is Super convenient to walk to shopping mall and prime location such as walking street.

Regretfully and without notice this terrible din just started last month and we have been fighting them next door (and the authorities) but in vain. Room in need of refurbishment. Bathroom needs mould spraying and leaky toilet sprayer fixed. Blinds needs repair/replacement. Beds and pillows too hard. Not usual Mercure beds. Pool nice but whole area getting tired and needs work. Breakfast was of usual standard and good. Restaurant has no ambience and needs decoration or something so it doesn't look like a food hall. Overall a disappointing stay. Could be so much better but needs refurbishment.
