« Worst Experience with Arcor Group »

The first floor is horrible loud i was on room 118. The Idian guest a like animals and to much of them. On my second night was a naked indian peeing on the floor because his room mate didnt open. My gf and me saw and was calling the reception direct and the security was coming up. It was late at night!!! This experience was the worst i ever made

we booked 2 double bed room but they were not available. Hotel Manager Mr. Tim arranged us to stay in nearby hotel - Travel Lodge. He compensated us in the other ways. We were very satisfied with Mr. Tim hospitality.

The Team of Mercure Pattaya was fabulous , always welcoming with a smile, location was good and peaceful, Family room was a let down. Though the room was big, space utilisation is bad, hardly any space to keep luggage or various things for a family of 4 for our stay of 6 Days. Dining area was for namesake. Bathroom was at other end of the room and no Bathroom Slippers in the room. There wasn't a single spare charging point in the room, we had to unplug lamps or kettle to charge mobile and tablets. Room at night was dark, I doubt if the unplugged lamps would had helped in anyway. No rain shower, the lock of the sliding door did not work many times. There was a play station with a single joystick. I called the reception for some help to start the PlayStation, they sent up a in-house mechanic, who asked to call reception for DVD and went away. I personally visited reception to avoid confusion, she said, we only provide 1 joystick and they later sent up 2 DVD with housekeeping, the DVDs were not compatible with the PlayStation in room. I gave up on PlayStation and gave my tablet to kids to play. Box of cookies and chocolates on Christmas was good.

The room you occupied has already been set aside for inspection as part of our yearly room care program and I am delighted to announce that we have plans in the making to pursue some further improvements in rooms this year. « A pleasant stay...but »

But some things need fixing :The pool deck is made from exposed aggregate ... and the stones are coming loose so it’s very painful to walk on. It needs to be resurfaced. The lounge chairs have “expired” are very uncomfortable to sit on on - basically sitting on hard aluminium bars..maybe some nice quality wood deck chairs wound be nice ( the aluminum gives a very “cold” appearance not in line with the tropical garden feeling. The water pressure in the showers is very limited and it runs hot and cold - very hard to have a confortable shower especially with a toddler ..The menu is very limited and not very exciting - except for the pizza which was surprisingly quite good. If they could fix these small issues it would be great!

« Room Picture is not the same which is show on Agoda »

Room picture that promote on website: Agoda is not the same as the real one. Before I do the booking, I also call to Mercure Pattaya for checking the location first because I like Mercure which is same area as Holiday Inn and staff said Mercure Pattaya has only 1. That’s why I book it on the wrong location. Front staff is ok, she talks with me politely that I can take a look first. It must be ok as I already paid to Agoda, but the hotel should take some reaponsibility, not just only call I want to upgrade the room and pay more for THB 4500 extra. If it’s my fault, it’s ok. But the hotel must talk with Agoda why uses Mercure Ocean Picture in Mercure Pattaya. Another thing is, I call for checking before I book, but your staff says only 1 Mercure in Pattaya. I already paid with Agoda THB 3500, and why I must pay more for 4500 as it’s not my fault. If i must pay total THB 8000 per night, I can get room same grade as Movenpick. ABF is not good

After investigation, it has come to my notice that my staff did not tell you that we have only one Mercure in Pattaya. As part of our reservation training, all the staff has to know the number and names of Accorhotels properties in their city and region. If you know the name of the reservation person, it would help us check internally if this actually happened on our property or was it the Mercure Pattaya Ocean resort property. In regards to the Agoda issue, may I please have a screenshot of where our hotel is depicted as Mercure Pattaya Ocean resort? I have checked the Agoda page, and we have no pictures of Mercure Pattaya Ocean resort on our page, and nor do they have our pictures on their listing. If you provide me with evidence, I can instruct my team to resolve this matter urgently with the Agoda account manager in order to ensure this does not happen again in the future. I am truly sorry to hear the issues you have experienced during your recent stay with us in regards to the breakfast. If I may, can you please give us more details as to this matter and other areas of improvement? We would very much appreciate it if you could get back to us on this as it would help us improve on our services and take the right actions necessary to avoid this situation from happening again.
