As a;ways, great location, wonderful staff, lovely rooms - but the management is now gearing its services to the tour group market and not to individual travellers.

« Good time with one difficulty, all Staff EXCELLENT »

My stay was very enjoyable with Staff like Tim,Opal,Mallee,First,Jo,Apia,Kaew and Muay performing their duties with little stress. Great Staff, management should be very proud. I did speak with Tim regarding 2 dogs staying overnight next door to my room. That night and morning was a disaster having to deal with the noise from these dogs and family. If the Hotel policy is to allow dogs then careful consideration must be given to where to place these animals.

We're very impress for excellent service of this hotel. All staff is very kind, full service with smile. The swimming pool is very wide and nice&relax. The hotel is located behind the shopping mall within the walking distance for 5 minutes. We will come back again for sure!!!

A below standard Accor hotel that should be demolished and rebuilt. They are currently trying to do some cosmetic work on this property with a coat of paint but it is not working. The bar area is wasted space and lacks atmosphere.

May I begin by thanking you for choosing us as your accommodation during your visit to Pattaya; your kind custom is greatly appreciated by both me and my team. However I would like to offer my deepest personal apologies that your time with us did not match that of the vast majority of our valued guests as our sole intention is to provide our visitors with a true Mercure Pattaya stay. We just completed our new family-friendly project recently, which includes a mini water-park, kids activity zone, sporting arena, outdoor mini-theatre, new bakery and all day casual dining restaurant, new breakfast offer, and brand new air-conditioners in guestrooms to name a few of our upgrades. We are currently in the process of renovating our rooms and decorating them in the near future and are currently painting the façade of the building and other public areas, while also replacing the linen and towels completely. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to redeem ourselves once again upon your next visit, and hope to complete these projects by then. We have stayed in the Mercure Pattaya for several years now and would not hesitate to do so again. Every slightest request was met quickly and efficiently and with the ever-present Thai courtesy and friendliness by EVERY member of the staff, a truly delightful team. The hotel is ideally situated just off Second Street with own parking lot and all facilities close at hand.

Check-in was very pleasant. Very friendly front desk staff. Helped found a room to upgrade us to. Room was spacious. Low ceiling made the room felt cramped and uncomfortable, and renovation will be appreciated. Breakfast was good. However, I had a bad experience when I saw bugs (มอด) crawling out of the pepper shaker I just used. The staff promptly apologized, but appetite was lost. Lunch exceeded expectation: quality, quantity, and value for money.

Staff at the Mercure Pattaya are always polite and helpful, unfortunately the place needs an overall, the rooms are really showing their age. Due to the general condition of the hotel the value for money is very average compared to what else is available in the area. And they have gone back to the old rubbish bacon again for breakfast, Yuk.

I would like to use coupon for upgrade room to corner but reception was reject and will upgrade room to family only, which we're not child so family room was not necessary for us. She was said that corner room was full but I have check with website at that time, it's available.
