« Warm room with little comfort »

The room was very warm. All basics are there. Bed is not super comfy but ok. Value for money is not so good, especially with other options in the direct surroundings. On the positive side, shopping center and public transportation are literally around the corner.

The stay was ok, some staff where helpfull some staff where not , breakfast was to early , and the late breakfast was not available ( once at 10 h30 due to another hotel delivery ? And at 10h 45) so has to buy at the shop in front the hotel even though we paid it in the hotel the 15 minutes solution pub wasn’t existing I paid more than 1000 euro for 4 nights for 2 rooms what is not cheap for ibis but I understand high season Disney ... I expect the service than this want always available ... also the night reception ... should be more guest service if you propose food at night I expect to get it and not after a lot of discussions and pffff s and ahhhs anyway disappointing

The air conditioning was very poor. When we checked in it would not come on. Later it came on but it never provided enough cool air to make the room comfortable to sleep. The temperature outside was 20C at night and 35C during the day. Also, they provide no small towels that could be used as a wash cloth. Otherwise the room was clean, the bed comfortable, there were shelf to allow me to unpack, and an adequate small desk. The location by the train one stop from Disney was excellent.

Room was quite and clean. Aircon maintained a nice cool temp. Staff were very helpful, speaking english as needed. Hotel immediately outside the Val d'Europe RER station which was great. One point was when you search on google maps for the hotel it is the Ibis budget that comes up. This is actually immediately next door to this one.

The welcome was very pleasant, I believe Clement took care of us for the check in. However, everything went downhill from then. During check in we were asked to confirm that we asked for a twin room. Once we got the room it was evident that our request had not been fulfilled. I emailed the hotel in April asking for the room to be with twin beds and the booking was changed accordingly by Clement. I let the reception know but it seemed like whoever was on duty (who promptly let us know that he had just come back from holiday as if to say who was not responsible therefore would not help) did not seem interested in resolving the problem. After pleading several times to solve the issue we were offered breakfast for the following morning. I appreciated the gesture but believe it was not wholehearted and was only given to us after I almost explicitly asked. After a night with no sleep following having to share a tiny bed with my friend (pretty upsetting considering firstly that I needed to rest ahead of a long day at Disneyland and secondly that our stay was of 2 nights only - half of our trip), we had to pack up and leave our luggage at reception so that we could have our room changed. Additionally, although I had been promised that the staff would be aware of our breakfast being booked, no one was aware and we had to wait some more before the lady at reception researched whether or not we were (essentially) being truthful. The second night in the new room went as expected, the pillows were comfortable. However, the floors (especially in the first room) did not feel clean and it all had an old-smell to it. Nevertheless, considering the price we payed per night and the location I expected such conditions but trusted Ibis as a hotel chain, might be time to change my opinion.

My recent stay at the Ibis did not leave up to my expections. I found the reception staff very aloof and unfriendly after spending the previous three plus weeks at other Accor hotels in Great Britain and Paris. No recognition nor greeting was offered whilst passing the front desk . I was also very surprised at the casual attire,jeans and t shirts, of the front counter staff, I did not think it was at all professional. My room was adequate for my needs as I was spending three days at the Disney parks so I didn’t require to be in the room too much. It would have been a nice touch to supply a few more basic amenities, all that was supplied was a tube of attached liquid soap by both the sink and shower. I did think this was not at all sanitary by the sink as you get to literally touch the squeeze bottle to get the soap out before you could wash your hands.My immediate thought was if the tube was sanitized in between and after use.They were no tissues nor hand cream supplied unlike other ibis hotels I have stayed in. The tv supplied had no English programs so that was of no use to me. The breakfast facilities were a bit chaotic on each morning I was there.As there was only one coffee machine,each morning I encountered a long queue in order to get my coffee which resulted in congestion with people lining up. It was really more a self service cafeteria, with a tray to collect your food.The cutlery box was empty of knives and after requesting if it would be possible to have a knife,it actually took over five minutes to be restocked. Once again, I was surprised at the casual dress of the staff in jeans and t shirts. My major disappointing experience was that my room key card failed on numerous times. It failed to work on my initial arrival to my room. Luckily there was a cleaner on the floor who kindly used his master key to admit me. Another key card was programmed for me that worked sometimes.However,on arrival back to the hotel at midnight,after seeing the Disney night show, it failed yet again. After going down stairs, twice, it was reprogrammed again twice. I was not impressed at this after two failed attempts and two trips downstairs at an extremely late hour, or by this time an extremely early hour in the morning. Maybe I was just unlucky but I was extremely angry by this time . I would therefore not be happy to ever visit this hotel again.

Check in was good room was ready on arrival at 12 noon. After spending the day at Disneyland would have been lovely if we had tea/coffeee making facilities in our room it was past midnight and a hot drink would have been most welcome. Paid for breakfast and very disappointed it was so busy and impossible to find a table had to sit in reception and just had a coffee and pastry if I had known this I would have not added breakfast to our booking.

Perfetc location. Just a stones throw away from the Val D’ Europe station. 10min. walk to the shopping centre and only 1 station away from Disneyland. The pillows were extremely comfortable!

The greeting on check-in was good, and finding the hotel was easy and a good location. The room was a good size, clean, and noise from outside was well masked. However, the air-conditioning wasn't actually air-conditioning - it only blew out hot air. When I complained to the front desk about this, they said that was expected and all I could do was to switch it off! The hotel shouldn't be advertised as having air-conditioning if it does not cool down a room. The hallways also suffered from this problem, being far too warm. The Wifi was not good quality - it was slow, and kept getting cut off so I needed to re-register and sign in over and over again. There were no English-speaking channels on the TV. The noise from inside the hotel was not always good - doors slamming, and the water pipes, could be noisy at times and woke me up.

Regarding the temperature of the room, our air conditioning is used for two positions, winter to heat and summer to refresh. Actually it's in winter position and therefore does not actually blow cold air. The period and the temperatures being very variable it is difficult for us to find a temperature which can be suitable for all and we are sorry for it.
