Family freindly hotel close to West Brompton Undergound Station with easy access to central London, Clapham Junction and Gatwick Airport. Bar servces great food and is open late. Restaurant serves excellent breakfast and buffet in evening.

Helpful staff from check in to dining to bar to cleaning. Comfortable, spacious room - good, powerful shower with a non-clingy curtain). The one thing that would have led me to 10/10 would be if the bath towels were bath sheet sized rather than bath towel sized.

A good stay, clean, adequate, courteous staff - what more could you ask for. We had originally planned to queue for Wimbledon, but alas my knees didn’t want to scramble in and out of a tent. Instead we enjoyed a stay with you, watched the tennis on the room tv and “did” a couple of shows. A very satisfactory alternative but really best of both worlds.

Always love the breakfast, and being on the District Line it is easy to navigate around the city. A little frustrated however that my key did not work a few times and twice I went back up to the 12th floor to find that the new one also didn't work!!!

Should be renamed Ibis Earls Court /West Brompton, as it is much closer to West Brompton tube station. If you are coming from Heathrow on the tube (Piccadilly Line)you can change at Earls Court to the District Line and the travel to West Brompton which is only a short distance away from the Hotel. Saves a 15min walk from Earls Court. Our stay didn’t get off to a good start as we couldn’t get into the room that was allocated on the 12th floor, I think it was 1258, which was a lucky escape because it was beside a service door which led to a service lift which we could already hear dinging and announcing which floor it had stopped at. We returned to reception and asked for a room change, 950 was allocated which was perfectly adequate for our short 4 day visit to Wimbledon/ London.

Great Location But Could Do with an Upgrade

Came here for a weekend concert. The hotel is in a great location and the price was very good as well. The hotel looked a little old and tired which is uncommon for Ibis Hotels. The area is under redevelopment so I'm sure the rents must be very high. The hotel is very central with great connections to Central London. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at the Ibis Earls Court for the past ten years as part of my work covering Wimbledon for my newspaper. However based on my experience this year I will be looking for another hotel next year.

High expectations but let down by admin errors

As much as I would like to say I enjoyed my stay, this particular visit was let down by 1. a messy/uncleaned room when i checked in at 14:25 (25 minutes after 2), when I immediately mentioned to reception I was compensated with a few drink at the bar, no problem (Admin error) onto the bar to wait for the room to be cleaned..when I returned to the room 2. the door lock had broken meaning I unpacked but had no security to anyone walking in, I had to summon the maintenance Manager/lady (via the cleaner who knew about it) who advised no problem I will get the lock fixed, I said I had to go out which I did, however it wasn't fixed when I returned, someone had been waiting outside the room (which was good as my personal possessions where kept safe). My guest had now arrived but we had to go back to reception to get another room (compensated another drink + guest drink). Overall the experience was just messy & inconvenient took up time which I would have preferred to be doing other things. Good do better IBIS. 5/10
