Planned to stay for 2 nights but unfortunately had an family emergency and had to head home early. Everyone was extremely helpful and rallied to our cause. Didn't get charged for 2 nights as I thought we might. So, thank you. Pleasant shortened stay. Ate in the restaurant on our only night - had the steak, it was divine. Recommended.

The bathroom basin was blocked and water would not run out. The wardrobe doors were hanging off the runners and could not be moved, meaning it could not be used. The overall standard of the room was poor.

It was a good experience barring a few things. Being near to West Brompton station and the bus stop, it was easy to commute. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, which is always good to have. There is luggage room as well for storage where we left our luggage after check out and collected them later. Overall it was satisfactory. One thing that bothered the most was no complimentary water bottles in the room. On one occasion when it was late night, I had to buy a bottle from the hotel's restaurant and it was highly priced.

reception staff insisted i payed for parking after i checked out even though i requested to pay the full stay fee. key card for room was not working. had to go down to reception and get it re-programmed staff insisted there was no problem which there was getting into the room. upon entering a piece of the wardrobe fell off. called reception to come and look advised maintainece would come. no one came. called reception for wifi password, advised it was on the guest card which was not, staff gave wrong password. worst stay yet

As I am an Accor member, I tried to make my booking online. The website would not allow me to log in as a member as it did not recognise my password, forcing me to change the password and when I did so I was re-directed to start again. After third attempt I gave up. I then telephoned the Ibis Hotel direct. I rang four times before the phone was picked up by the operator who could not transfer me to reception and advised me that she believed that reception had closed for the evening (this was at 5.15pm in the afternoon) and advised me to ring back in the morning. As the Ibis site was indicating that there were only a few rooms left, I secured the booking through Booking.com. The room fixtures and fittings were badly in need of updating (eg, bathroom door would not shut properly, enamel on bath was scratched, toilet seat chipped, floor tiles badly marked or dirty). Would not like to go through this experience again and will re-think whether I remain loyal to the Accor brand.

We stayed in Ibis from 27 - 29 May 2019. The experience was quite pleasant. The hotel is located near Underground station, only a few minutes walk. The room was nice and clean, not too big but not too small. Bed was comfortable.

On arrival, although there were free staff, no one approached us nor made it clear where to check in. Although there is both a restaurant and pub on the first floor, the food choice was limited and the food quality in the pub was poor. Besides that, the hotel was clean, the view from the room was nice and the hotel room was suitable.

All very good except that one of the previous occupants was a smoker and had been puffing away, particularly in the bathroom. This meant a rather unpleasant situation as the air conditioning failed to clear the smell.
