« Could have been better »

The water in room was freezing cold in shower, when I tried to call someone the phone was not working. I went and told manager who apologised and sent repair person who came quickly but said thermostat broken and he would get another phone (phone was not changed) manager said we would need to move rooms, we did, I asked for a gesture of compensation and meal which manager agreed to-I think he should have suggested or room upgraded for inconvenience. Think hot water is a basic requirement, breakfast was nice and staff overall polite

« Comfortable stay, friendly and helpful staff »

Excellent, clean room, dog made welcome. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent meals provided by 'pub'. You would have scored a full 10, but the restaurant was shut (no explanation as to why) and we would have preferred to have meals there as would never usually go to pubs that show sky sports and play music all the time (don't like them). Room service for your (excellent) takeaway meals would have been nice - especially as we had the dog and couldn't and wouldn't leave him alone in the room.

« A clean and Beautifully maintained hotel. »

It was a great experience staying at the hotel for 7 nights. I was surprised to see a rather large spread of breakfast, all cooked to perfection. Highly recommend to friends and family. Extremely convenient and barely a walk from the station.

Website was poorly designed and difficult to navigate - it indicated that the hotel had parking, which was one reason for picking this hotel, but it was impossible to find out any further details on the website (e.g. charges, whether we could book in advance, how to find it) so had to phone the hotel.

The bathroom door did not close, it was very dated, very hot and the bed was too hard. Not worth the money at all!

Recently stayed at the Ibis and was very happy with our choice. The staff were very helpful and polite, printing maps and bus information. Our room was 209, with a huge comfortable bed and separate seating area to relax after returning from sightseeing. The bar was a comfortable area for a drink, we didn't eat there but the food looked good. The local are has lots of bars and food if you fancy a walk.. Transport was really close with bus stops outside and the tube line at West Brompton a short walk away. Yes the hotel could do with a makeover and some furniture needs replacing , but for a 3 star hotel in central London, this was clean and gave a good nights sleep.We will certainly stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

I like this hotel. But... please give me an invoice when I pay on check-in, instead of making me come back again on checkout. I need to bill my client when I am in London in their offices, not after I go home!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the room we stayed in on the top floor was quiet. The climate control wasn't working and the room was far too warm so I requested a fan which was delivered to our room promptly. As there is no Air/Con in the rooms I wouldn't book this hotel in the summer months.

« Let down by Angelina on reception. »

The room was okay, clean although a little dated, but for the price I was happy. Angelina on reception ignored me on two occasions whilst at reception, I am a Travel Agent and I understand things need to be completed before starting on a new enquiry. However I have the ability to engage with my customers whilst completing a task rather than ignoring them (Just a bit of small talk or explaining you are just finishing off a note, to ensure it doesn’t get forgotten. Explains what you are doing and makes you look efficient. I found her manner rude. I believe she would benefit from some customer service training.
