The location is great, very close to the tube station. The chekcnin process was easy and staff were friendly. The room was no great! It is massively dated - like something from the 70s. It is in desperate need of an facelift. The room was cold and astonishingly had a portable heater in it because the air con/heating system did not work. The room was noisy as it was next to a lift

The Hotel is in a fantastic place to visit London, a 3min walk to the tube and train lines. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are of a good quality plus you can get meals in the pub on the first floor as well you can watch sport on a big screen.

Great hotel - 2nd time we have stayed here. Staff very helpful and lovely breakfast. 1 complaint - if you are having a drink in the bar you are automatically charged a service charge even if you go to order at the bar and take your drink back to the table yourself. They will take it off if you notice and ask them. We have no objection to paying service charge if we order food. We will definitely be back again

« Lovely stay!!! »

The staff were friendly and welcoming at reception, and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. I was really impressed by the size of the TV in the room - it was HUGE! The amenities were all working. It was easy to check out, and the man at the information desk was polite and nice when I asked him to store our luggage for a few hours. I can't recommend Ibis enough. I always enjoy staying here and I can't wait to stay with them again.

« Getting ready for a refurb »

Very busy at checking with a queue of eight and only one person on the reception for ten minutes before a colleague came to the rescue. Generally a comfortable bed and room with a side table and chairs making it easy to work in the room. I appreciate it is a busy hotel but the bathroom is really ready for some maintenance especially the hand basin with two starred cracks in the porcelain which no matter how well it is cleaned with always blacken and look particularly unhygenic

The hotel needs an update - rooms are dated, but this does mean the price is reasonable and my stay was comfortable enough. The shower wasn't great but no other issues.

Breakfast - very nice - Other food below average Bar staff - Miserable, obviously didn't want to be there. Had no idea how British pub bars work in terms of the order to serve people. So I would s. undertrained. In fact the most unfriendly staff I have encountered in a hotel for a long time Room dated. No usb chargers in sockets. In fact no socket by bedside either. people have lots of mobile devices now. These rooms are from 1999 not 2019. My room key stopped working. I was told off by the reception clerk for keeping it by my phone in my pocket. Sorry, I do not use a handbag. Was there rationing for coffee in the room? Anyway, I could go on. But you did ask......

« Great location but room could be better »

The staff were great and location was convenient for my needs. The shower head in the room was broken. There were no sockets near the bed for charging my phone and laptop. The socket near the hairdryer was broken. I spent very little time in the room so I did not have time to complain or move rooms so I did not raise this nor expect it to be sorted during my stay. On my final morning, I was in a rush to get ready and out the room. A cleaner knocked on my door at 8am asking if I was ready to check out so they could clean the room. As far as I aware, I had the room until 12pm. This made me feel rushed out of the hotel and was an inconvenience while I was trying to get organised for the day. I would rather this not happen.
