Positive. The only disagreeable part was finding the place. The sat nav could not cope with all the road closures. Perhaps mail arriving guest with clear, current directions.

« Great staff, great location, great breakfast. »

Travelling with small children, the hotel staff and environment was very welcoming. We particularly all loved the breakfast, especially my three year old who ate a tremendous amount of fruit. The only drawback was the temperature of the room, which we could not seem to lower either by opening the window or using the air conditioning.

« A pleasant one night stay at the weekend. »

Apart from the scaffolding surrounding the hotel and the car parking, which I found the spaces to be small and in short supply, we had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. It should be made clear on your website that there is a charge for car parking and I shouldn't have to trawl the review sites to find this out. It wouldn't have stopped me using it but it would be nice to know before you book. The family room that we had was clean and a decent size and the breakfast was also good. Overall, I would consider staying at the hotel again when we next visit Bristol.

Struggled to find hotel due to scaffolding put up all outside.Easy to check in but annoyed about having to pay £10 parking.Best thing about the room was the comfy mattress.(where are they from what to get one) Would of liked to of had a bath but only shower in room.Breakfast was good and lots to choose from.Also great location apart from all road works going on.

All ok apart from room not made up for four. Let housekeeping know - while we were out they made it up for three so had to call again and then ask again for enough towels.

Check in from 14.00 and one of the rooms was still not ready so have to leave all the luggage in one room and go out for a walk. Sitting on the throne it doesn't give the best experience mouldy silicone around bathroom door frame and tired paint in room 231. Need to pull the level up a bit.

Many thanks for your feedback Jarutis, I was sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations on this occasion in particular the lack of room availability upon arrival at 14:09 hrs and the maintenance of your bathroom in room 230 prompting you to give an overall rating of just 5/10, please accept my sincere apologies. Although the hotel was fully booked the previous evening and as we offer a late check out time of 12 noon, I was happy that we were able to provide you with one of your reserved bedrooms followed by the additional room approximately twenty minutes later and thank you for your understanding regarding this issue. I have also requested my maintenance team to inspect room 230 as we have recently re-visited every bedroom to replace bathroom shower seals and sealant which is in need of repair and please accept my apologies that this rooms appears to have been missed and thanks for letting me know. The room was nothing like the pictures online. I booked a king bed with sofa and I did not get this. The worst thing was the wifi. It had one bar and I could not make simple facetime calls as the wifi kept dropping. Every time it dropped i used data and my data for the month was quickly used.

Thank you for your feedback Louise following your recent stay, I was sorry to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations on this occasion in particular, the issue you encountered with the strength of the WIFI which prompted you to give an overall rating of just 5/10, please accept my sincere apologies. Although we are unaware of any problem with the WIFI signal, nor did we receive any other similar comment, generally this service of the free fibre optic high speed WIFI is very well received therefore, I have asked my maintenance team to monitor this situation around room 408 and should there be any concern we will certainly contact our service providers to prevent future occurrence. Please assured that my team are available 24/7 and I am sure had you alerted us at the time then this would have given us the opportunity to investigate at the time. Regarding the room type reserved by your agent , I am sorry for any confusion as indeed a King Bedroom was reserved however, these particular rooms do not contain a sofa bed as these are all allocated to the Queen Superior bedroom type. I was only there for 1 night but had an excellent stay. The staff were pleasant the food was great and the room was spacious by far the best hotel experience I have had travelling with work. I will certainly be choosing this hotel chain the next trip if possible.

£69 for my room was value for money ,room was fine ,only thing I would change is the pillows ,4 on a double bed but I still couldn't get the comfort balance right , either to soft ,hard ,low or high
