« Air con blowing warm air and mattress was like concrete »

The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was a good size and well presented. The mattress was really hard and not what we were used to so we did not sleep very well at all. The room temperature was very warm and the cooler was blowing warmer air so this made our stay uncomfortable.

Thank you for your feedback Allan, I was sorry to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations on this occasion prompting you to give an overall rating of only 7/10 in particular, due to the firmness of the new Novotel future bed and the air comforting system, please accept my sincere apologies. Although we generally receive positive comments regarding our new beds especially as they include a latex topper for comfort I was therefore , disappointed to hear you found the mattress too firm and will report this feedback to our UK purchasing committee. I have also requested my maintenance team to inspect the air comforting system which operates gradually by using the external temperature which I am sure you will agree, has been very erratic in the UK recently. « Super stay at Novotel Bristol! Staff couldn't have done more for us, very pleased »

We came to Bristol for one night, and decided to use a Novotel as had heard good things about them as a chain. We wern't dissappointed. The staff were all super attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Everyone was really friendly, noise levels were very low and this was on a saturday night. It was a good 10+ minute walk to the city centre. The parking was £10 for 24 hours which we were happy with.

Beautiful lobby area. Room was very comfortable although a little warm. Fabulous breakfast. My son particularly enjoyed the pancakes.

Business stay. Bedroom was nice. Alstom workers were told by the waitress to sit together in an allocated restaurant area. I was not allowed to sit in another part of the restaurant of my choosing- this made me feel insulted.

« Very enjoyable stay at Novotel Bristol Central »

My family really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a fantastic central location with easy access to all of central Bristol's attractions. There was lots of good communication by email about the check-in , check-out and parking options available before we arrived. The reception team were welcoming and the room was clean with all the facilities one would expect or hope for. Breakfast was well presented and had enough options to keep everyone happy. The service team were friendly and helpful. At times when it was busier the cooked breakfast options were out of sync with guest arrivals meaning a significant wait for some hot meal options. However, the overall experience was good. The portions served in the main restaurant for dinner were good. The traffic congestion due to road works around the hotel was inconvenient but this is not Novotel's fault. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Held a training day in one of the Conference Rooms. Room was great - lots of pens and paper and water and flip charts available. Staff were great - helped me get the technology working for me. Teas, coffees, and lunch were great - fresh and plentiful.
