The Hotel is close to the conference centre were I was for 3 days. I like that it was beside the river and I could go for a walk in the morning or late afternoon. The town is just there and if you want to go further afield there is a tram stop just outside. So very convenient. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size. However, overall a little run down. Breakfast was good although busy on some days.

Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but can only work with what they have got. Good points.. coffee machine in room. Big room. Disappointing... shower only just flowed, not much water if you want it warm water.

Everything was very nice but had a loud “pumping” noise outside the window all night. At breakfast I had to tell the lady 3 times what room I was in and spell my name for her 3 times. We were having breakfast and got up to get coffee and came back to the table and it had been cleared - even our unfinished breakfast even though we left phones, glasses etc in the table. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Great for a stay if in Adelaide on business

The location was great as the hotel is just across the road from the convention centre. Breakfast every morning was fantastic. The only downside was that my room has one frosted window, that opened about 15cms and was against a salmon pink wall. Very little natural light or ventilation. So great for a short stay only.

I can’t speak highly enough of the front desk staff at the Grosvenor. They were so friendly and helpful. Everything about the stay was made easier thanks to the staff. Room was comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring Adelaide.

The room had a bad smell The room had no exposure to sun There was an animal just out side the room that made loud sounds every day at around 5 am. I didn't get invited to prepay breakfast to get a reduced rate. However, i thought the staff did a pretty good job.

Being new to Adelaide, the central location of the hotel was appreciated. Until we arrived we didn't realise that a standard room was an internal one with no view of the outside world.

it is extremely well located, clean and nice. The only issue I had was the corridors. For customer delight, you might consider doing something to brighten up the corridors with some paintings or bright lights or plants. They are a bit drab - especially the carpet looks very old. Otherwise everything was fine.

The room we were in was average. Looked a bit old and dark and stuffy. Was hard to open the curtains and they had lot of dust built on them. So avoided opening it a lot anyway. It was very hot inside the room. We were informed a portable fan can be provided if its hard to sleep at night as they have turned down the central cooling system. Although we paid a similar amount as the any other 5* hotels we received buffet breakfast for $1. Restaurant staff were absolutely courteous. Have to give them 10/10.

It was a pleasure staying at Mercure Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide. The location of the hotel is superbly convenient which is 10 minutes walking from the Mall. Mercure is a nice hotel with great food and service. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed the stay a lot during World Routes Conference. I will definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel. We had a lovely room at the front of the building with a balcony and a view across to the Intercontinental Hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of the convention centre, the railway station, numerous restaurants and cafes, and the art gallery, museum and university. And it's not too far to walk to the zoo either. Our room was well equipped with toiletries etc and our bed was very comfortable. All of the staff we came across were friendly and professional and they really helped to make our stay enjoyable.
