« Comfortable but the room was a bit jaded »

Pleasant. We thought the breakfast was expensive so we ate elsewhere. We had a disabled accessible room. The bathroom was well equipped but the bed was too low with no hand grips.

Very good hotel to stay in right in the centre of Millau, helped upon our arrival with parking for our bikes, and luggage. Room was excellent with a good view out to the front of the hotel. All the staff were very polite and friendly.

Not good, the hotel is really very run down. The rooms were ok but very tired. The gentleman named Frederic was really lovely and made us very welcome. Thank God for him being at the reception desk. We had to pay extra for the car park . 16 euros. Too expensive. We should smell tobaco in the corridors and it was very noisy. We will not recommend the hotel and will stay somewhere else . It was very expensive.

The staff were very polite and friendly. The room was a real disappointment. It was in a poor state and needs urgent refurbishment. In addition to the poor state of the room, the air conditioning didn't seem to work and it was a warm night. Not a great night's sleep.

All that was needed for a cycle tour of the region. Comfortable, large room with efficient a/c. Easy walking distance of historic central area. Reception provided a map and directions, but did not appear to speak English. (Maybe to encourage our own French?) Bikes were secured in the nearby garage area. We avoided breakfast as it seemed a bit expensive but it was easy to eat nearby. We had one evening meal in the shared Mercure Hotel facility, It wasnt that noteworthy - but ok for hotel food. Hotel just 4 mins by bike to the station (coach connections, no trains nowadays). Convenience store just over the road. Very interesting town.

The hotel was very nice,staff friendly,rooms were nice and clean apart from no hairdryer in the bathroom,we stayed for breakfast but with our disappointment there was no plates to use,also had to asked several times for some eggs,then there was no bread once my eggs were ready which they went hard,asked twice for some bread so did another customer,we stay in a lot of ibis hotels and there was no extra selection of hams or cheeses like we normally get in the hotels,after leaving ur hotel we stayed again in an ibis in Lyon,there was more of a selection of cold meats and cheese in that hotel x

Hotel staff accomadating. Room and bed...the worst I've ever expereinced in my Ibis staying nights. The room smelled and the bed was nothing more than a shelf with a thin matress. Aweful.

« Unimpressive, badly planned tired twin with dear breakfast and parking »

Two hotels in one with check-in computers not linked. ("We don't have a reservation for you. Oh, you're in the wrong hotel. please go 3 metres to the hotel next door and I'll check you in on the other computer through this arch!"). Twin room was large, but ancient bathroom. Twin beds squeezed in one corner side-by-side, more like double with twin mattress. Not possible to relocate 1 bed away from side by side to seperate beds, despite booking being for 2 elderly men. Not even possible for bedside table between beds. Stupid and annoying. Attitude of surly receptionist meant complaint would be pointless.Breakfast twice the price of the splendid Ibis Budget at Tours North and not really different so didn't bother. Exhorbitant car park charge. Didn't bother. Arrived here from Lleida (Spain) Ibis, which is also 2 hotels in one, but 100% better experience, (even though check-in computers still not linked, with 1 receptionist moving from hotel to hotel) I'm an Ibis Budget fan and was expecting a step up in standard when paying for the next level up, in Millau. Very dissapointed and would not reccommend.

We enjoyed spacious rooms with baths. Close to centre of Millau so a bit noisy but good value for money. Ideal for a visit to the bridge and to explore the town. We used the public parking which was fine providing you can decipher the French instructions.

« Not the Greatest. Expensive parking »

If your looking for cheap accomodation, you must factor in the €15 parking charge which is the most I have paid to date. If your a Le Club member and like to collect points, forget it. The abrupt bar staff cannot add orders to your room which means you will not collect points. The staff are unable to awards points for any bar purchases. As the bar is no bargain, and certainly not attractive, this is not a great loss. There are nicer places in the pedestrian area to eat and drink. The Mercure and the Ibis are in fact in the same building. The Ibis takes up the bottom 4 floors and the Mercure the upper levels. The rooms are large and we did have a view of the Millau Bridge although if you were in the Mercure, the view would be much better. The hotel is dated and very worn out but as the room was large, this was some compensation. I wouldn't stay again based on the extortionate parking charge alone. You can park for free behind the Police station some 200 metres away but I only discovered that after leaving and had found many nice B & Bs for our next visit. We stay at Accor hotel extensively and are Gold members. We are not usually this critical but this is not a great hotel or nor are the staff friendly at all
