Really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and the Nespresso machine appreciated. The buffet breakfast provided a good variety and the food maintained the heat which is sometimes not the case with buffet food. Friendly staff added to experience.

we in Sydney for a conference that was fairly close to Mercure Airport. Really just needed a bed for the nights, but appreciate the atmosphere of Mercure Airport. Have stayed previously and find Mercure and Novotel to be the right level of facility for us

Very comfortable hotel close to Sydney International Airport. Does miss a swimming pool and gym. Well positioned for public transport, Wooli Creek station. Parking available but expensive. Golf course next door.

« Super convenient and very helpful staff. »

I chose Mercure International because it was offering a Stay and Park package. My flight was early in the morning and I live 2hours out of the city and did not want to risk any traffic problems or other delays into Sydney. My car is parked safely at the Mercure for the rest of the week which was a big seller for me choosing the Mercure International.

Easy check in and super accommodating staff who offered to store my bulky luggage items (ski gear) overnight downstairs to save me the trouble of taking them to the room. Booked the airport shuttle and checked me out in the morning with ultimate efficiency! Thank you!

When checking in a reminder about the options of pillows would be very helpful particularly when you arrive late (but before 10pm) as I found the information the next morning and my night sleep was terrible with the pillows that were on the bed.

« Warm welcome after a long flight from Malaysia »

We have stayed at this hotel many times previously, due to its convenient location near the airport. We received a very warm welcome from reception staff, which was very much appreciated after a long and tiring flight. However, on this occasion the hotel maintenance left a lot to be desired. There was a leak in the bathroom (the floor was constantly wet). There was something seriously wrong with the airconditioning which could not be adjusted. I finally turned it off by removing the room key from the master switch. The restaurant was too cold (I've noticed this before). The rotating toaster wasn't working and the coffee machine was far too complicated - I noticed just about everyone had to ask the staff for help.

The shower needed maintenance: the faucet was wobbly, the water pressure very low. The bathtub was the shallowest I have ever seen and does not deserve to be called that. Staff was attentive and the food was quite good. The mattress was cheap and not very comfortable: Especially the “partner disturbance”. Ibis have much more comfortable beds.

Please allow me to apologise for your discomfort as a result of the bed. I have raised your concerns with our Executive Assistant Manager as we are currently making upgrades to our facilities as we get ready for our re-brand to a Novotel from the 1st April. This information is invaluable to us. I have also raised your concerns about the bathroom with our Chief Engineer and as a result we have been able to adjust the fixtures to avoid this from happening again. I take on your feedback about the depth of the bathtub and although this is not a change that we can make in the near future it is important for us to know so we can include it in our future scope of works. I am so pleased that you had a great experience in the restaurant and thank you about your comments regarding our staff. I will pass on this feedback as it serves as encouragement for them to continue looking after our guests to the best of their ability. « A very impressive hotel so close to the airport! »

My room on Level 9 was fantastic! The restaurant served good quality meals (breakfasts and dinners) as well as providing our conference with lovely lunches. The venue for our conference (Ballroom) was a great space, and the pens, notepads and mindfulness coasters were a great addition. I really enjoyed my stay, and the hotels proximity to the airport. The only downside to the stay was an out of order elevator on the first day (longer waits and fuller elevators). All staff were courteous and friendly, and checking in and out was a breeze. Regular shuttle services too and from the airport made life a lot easier too. I'd be happy to stay at Mercure International Airport Hotel again in the future.

Only stayed one night before flying out to NZ. Room was very quite so had a good sleep but prior to that had a drink in the bar and dinner in the restaurant all which was very satisfying, staff also very friendly and accommodating even tho it was very busy.
