« Quite disappointed »

I stayed several times at this hotel in the past and was usually satisfied, but this stay was quite disappointing WiFi on the second floor did not work, after several tests with my laptop and Ipad. Went downstairs, they knew there had been a problem but that it was resolved. So they put me in contact with a helpless desk. Funny enough while I was at the reception, another person also having a room at the same floor complained. As we went to sleep we asked for additional pillows. Two times but they never came - I wonder if Ibis will keep its widely known promise, not fixed within 15 minutes the stay is on us ... Breakfast was OK but at 20 to 9 the hot food was already cold (scrambled eggs, bacon) so we basically had a continental breakfast.

Location is okay for people passing through, but nothing really to do, far from any real interesting things, a bit awkward parking, very basic rooms, restaurant is okay. A very basic IBIS in comparison.

« small room in old hotel »

hotel gives the impression that it is quite old. Restaurant was closed. Room booked was for 3 persons. Never seen such a small room. Batch seems to be taken from a train. (small, made of plastic)

« Not the best example of the ibis »

I must say I wasn't altogether impressed with this stay. We stay every couple of years for five or six days with a large group on business. The staff seem a little annoyed to be at work, the rooms haven't been updated in some time (for example, in our room the soap dispenser was ripped from the wall and not fixed, the showerhead did not stay up); everything is tired. We were told that it was impossible to have a drink in the hotel after 00.30, without being in our rooms- I have never seen this before anywhere in the world, and the website offers all day availability at the bar. The location is OK for the motorway, but out of town a little bit. Rooms a little too hot and noisy, shower fans on all night, just not pleasant. You're probably better to stay somewhere else if you can. It's a shame, as I normally like accor, but we spent several thousand euros here and nobody seemed to care or give a damn that we were there.

Have stayed at this Ibis numerous times. Have always been able to get food & drink in bar in evening after our long trip from Austria. However this time we eventually [at 7.30pm] saw notice to say restaurant was closed at weekends in January & February, we had not been reminded of this on arrival. Things were made worse by the fact that the 2 nearby restaurants were closed. The notice said we could get something at the budget hotel, well what was available was frankly disgusting, we ended up with a packet of crisps!! When we book & the info in the rooms always says how food & drink is available at all times, surely if this is not going to be the case we should be notified before our available. We will think very carefully about using Ibis again, as we had a similar experience in the Kassel [ Germany] Ibis 18 months ago

The bed was good, room a bit small and a plastic small bathroom. The room could be cleaned bether: several hairs from other people in the bathroom. The breakfast was OK and the staff was friendly.

« Could not sleep because of high temperature wich i guess is well known by ibis »

At midknight good not sleep because of high temperature and air wich was not fresh. I adjusted the temp to below 20 and turned on the ventilator. After 10 minutes i found out that the temperature was rising. I could open the window a little bit but the noise was to much. I made a complain to the reception. They told us to turn of the ventilator. This was not enough to solve. He told that the ventilator in the shower should do the rest in time. This ventilator was not working. After i made a complain about the ventilator in the shower he offered us another room. It was allready allmost 3am and we refused. Lag of trust. We adviced this hotel to family and they joined us. They experienced the same and above that they could not open the window. The ventilator in the shower was working but dindt solve the high temperature.

« Good but uneven »

Convenient when coming by car from the south highways. The staff was professional and very friendly. Good restaurant in quality and variety. However some improvements are needed in the rooms: the hairdryer was badly working; heating was noisy and behaving in an on-off mode, with hardly-to-set temperature. I had problem to set to the right temperature of the water in the shower.

You gave me a room that reeked of smoke making me literally ill during the night. The room was on a very busy highway so impossible to have the window open to air the terrible smell. I frankly would like a full refund. When I told the girl at the reception about this experience she didn't appear to care or say sorry or anything.

We have stayed here before and found the hotel comfortable and good value for money. On this occasion we had difficulty sleeping because the room was so smoky that it was difficult to breathe.
