« On-line check-in but room sill not available at 2pm »

The on-line booking with mention of arrival at noon was supposed to ease process. We finally arrived at 1.15pm and the room was not ready. We could have gone to lunch as the kids were hungry but were told a couple of times that the room was "actually" being done and we could just wait a bit. We were even given the keys to the room so we waited and waited and waited at reception with our luggage for 45 minutes and ended up going ourselves to check the room at 2pm. It had not even been cleaned yet. We put everything back in the car and left the hotel at 2.15pm pissed off and tired (an hour after arriving with pre-check-in on line) not having eaten anything. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!

Smoking room with no ashtray. when asked about it, it was met with a semi service friendly shoulder mentioning that we don't have. Shower cold in the morning. I came at 12:00 from a long over night flight and I have to pay 45 euros to get 2 hours earlier into the room. That's exploitation. Making money more important then the well being of customer.

Airco was blowing air but was not cooling which resulted in very warm/hot room. Mentioned this when checking out and received no reaction from the staff. Quality level is very poor compared to the room rate.

« Got cold because the room temperature is too low »

When I stayed in Paris, the low temperature was quite low - around 5-8 Celsius degrees. However the temperature controller in my room couldn’t work in heat mode. I requested to change a room, but was told all rooms were in the same setting and the only suggestion was to turn the controller off. After 3 nights, I got cold. On the fourth day, I finally got a room with right temperature. So I fully couldn’t understand why a 4-star hotel can’t provide a comfortable room from the beginning.

« Good but could be better »

The stay was good, however lack of a/c in room which was only blowing warm air and no access to open window, meant room was stuffy and ventalation was poor. We had to leave door open to let air in. Breakfast was good, however a change in breakfast choices over 4 day stay may have made experience better. Front desk was helpful in dealing with printing of tickets for disney. Wifi connectivity was intermittent and poor. So overall ok.

« It was unsatisfactory. »

The thermostat in the room did not work and as a result the room was extremely hot. The only option to cool down the room was by opening the window, but as the room was on the second floor there was lots of noise from the street traffic. We were unable to sleep. In addition the sink in the bathroom did not drain and in the morning there was large area in the room where the carpet was wet. This was by the wall that was shared with the shower. Given the amount that we paid for the night, we expected more. We were very disappointed with our stay and would not stay here again, nor recommend it to our friends.

« Great room poor bar/resaurant »

When we arrived we had a warm welcome. The room was good as I expected. We were sight seeing so we would get back to the hotel for approx 6pm. We stayed in Novotel at bagalet on a previous occasion and the bar and staff were great. This was not to be at Porte d italie, the staff always on mobile phones and not interested with serving the guests. There was also a group of teenage children that sat in the only comfortable seats all night but never purchased anything. We tried it on 2 occasions and then gave up. Very disappointing.

« Convenient, comfortable and clean »

This is our second stay with the hotel, we find the location very convenient as it is close to our destination. Just a short walk both directions, different types of food is available and two subway and a tram station is also within 10 mins walking distance.

« Great place to stay for CEP Marathon »

The walk is a short distance to Halle Carpentier. The breakfast was quite good. If you're there for the tournament, the favorite breakfast items can go quickly. The beds were very comfortable, rooms are quite small.

« Clean & Convenient »

Hotel front desk staff was efficient and spoke English well. Room was clean but a little small for 2+1. We had to request for bath towels every day since only 2 were provided after the routine make-up. Breakfast was bare minimal at best and with limited choices for fully occupied hotel on a competition weekend.

« Family Visit »

On this occasion we booked 2 executive rooms 614 for 5 night and 714 for 3 nights On the saturday both rooms the npresso dose were not replenish we did not advise the reception as we came back in the rooms after 22:00 nor did we have any toblerone either. On the second night only room 614 was not replenished again so we had to physically go to reception. On departure from room 714 my son advised reception that the shower room was all mouldy on the ceiling a reflection that the fan is not working, Realistically I would have like to go before hand as I would have requested another room. We paid good money for the both room and would expect everything to be in order. When we checked out of our room 614 we were not asked if anything was ok as a result I mentioned to say that an outside window pane was totally crashed on all the width. I usually come to this hotel twice a year as I visit my sick mother in Villejuif. I don't always booked the executive room as it take the cost of our trip up. However when I do I would wish that we have nothing to look upon as negative which is clearly not the case on this occasion. I would appreciate your easy comments

« Nice hotel »

Hotel was good, clean and breakfast was tasty. Water from shower was not warm during every morning, wifi signal was poor in living room.
