« Good value for money hotel accommodation for visitor with car wanting access to Rome City and the airport. »

Location, parking, public transport and local shops all positive. Staff very friendly and helpful, room very clean & appropriate size for business/casual traveller. Limited bathroom amenities and an explanation of how to activate shower would be useful for those not familiar with local plumbing. Dinner/breakfast menus limited but adequate. Hot breakfast option limited on Sunday. Internet and work area in room were good.

The overall experience staying at this hotel was great with the only complain that big size vehicles/trucks are allowed to park overnight on the open parking lot blocking other vehicles from getting out.

Had to pay additional tourist fees that should have been included in my booking. The reception staff did not understand English very well which made it difficult. Room was not as nice as other Ibis hotels, bit outdated. Breakfast was very average and limited. Only option for me was the croissants. Wouldn't stay again.

Our initial check-in was friendly, efficient and helpful.Hotel well placed for access to the airport and we were able to get a bus into Rome.Bar service was very slow.However the stay was let down by the non-availability of several items on the dinner menu.Shuttle to the airport is a good service but it was over booked and therefore not enough space for safe stowage of suitcases.

We came to Ibis FIERA DI ROMA to attend a contest at the FIERA DI ROMA. the receptionists gave us wrong directions ! A map of Rome was given us without the fiera di roma!only downtown map. Our son missed that fundamental meetinng .

AC didn’t work well. I had it on max coolness and still woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Breakfast was left out and uncovered so flies just swarmed around the food. Same breakfast every morning. It is cheap and close to a bus stop and little market and restaurant which is nice. Surcharge is 5€ per drive and only available at certain times.

« Rather disappointing on the whole »

Having stayed in numerous Accor hotels in various countries this was by far the worst experience. Was initially told I could not have dinner until after 9.30 as pre booked - which I should have been informed of when checking in seeing as your policy is to not treat guests equally. For the 1st time in an Ibis I was informed the dining discount I have experienced as an Accor member was not given there - I had in a number of countries which seems strange. Then to top it off the wifi would not work in my room. All in all it was rather forgettable and I doubt I will stay in an Ibis again.

For such a price, they have really big room with excellent bed and WC room with bath. Breakfast was very good every morning. You can only have problems with public transport.

We were very pleased with our stay in R.. the front desk staff were very helpful and cordial the whole stay. We had many questions since it was our first stay in R.. They were very helpful letting us know where different shops were near the hotel. The welcome drink was fabulous and the many antipasto given to us were good as well. We ordered an antipasto plate as well that was very good.

To be welcome with a smile is always enjoyable, for sure at the end of a busy day. It was my first stay in a ibis hotel although I’ve been once in a ibis styles. The structure is comfortable and I appreciated all aspects of it. Large rooms, excellent bedding but no fridge, which seems to be standard for ibis. I also enjoyed a decent breakfast with a small point on the fact that there were scramble eggs but no bacon, and, very valuable in Rome, a garage. But above the material aspect, I really appreciated the professional attitude of the personnel. The only negative point I could mention, is the fact that the welcome drink doesn’t include a glass of wine. I could not believe it. Not in Italy! But despite my efforts to convince the barman about the nonsense of this restriction, there was no way to change it. He even pretended there is never wine for a welcome drink in an Accor hotel! For sure I know a lot of exceptions... in fact all others I’ve been!
