Though one may find the location of the hotel not very convinient as it's located near the city's border, but it's really comfortable, the team is great and very helpful and the price is mostly affordable. It wasn't the first time I stayed here, and I hope not the last. Note that the best way (if not by car) to come here is to the railway station Muratella and then 3 stops by bus number 128.

It was great. The room was spacious, the staff was extremely helpful. Mario, who was at the reception, was also extreamly knowledgeable. Understanding our interests, he recommended us number of places to visit. I usually stay at 4 and 5 star hotels and even there I haven't received such service. The hotel can improve a lot. When we arrived we were offered a shuttle from the hotel to one metro station which costs £5 each person. The recepcionist said it will arrive at 11:20 am. The truth is the driver arrives whenever he finishes picking up other guests + traffic. We can absolutely understand that these delays the service but no one warned us and we were expecting a punctual service. However, what really bothered us was the rude attitude of the woman at the front desk once we asked what happened with the shuttle since it was 11:40 am and it wasn't there. Even the Front Office Manager arrived, passed next to us, asked the recepcionist what the problem was, rolled her eyes as if it was ridiculous to ask for punctuality or as if they have had this problem before (not sure), entered her office and close the door without even looking at me. After this I asked the recepcionist if I could speak with the front office team leader or manager that arrived and the answer was: "you have to wait cause she just arrived, so she needs to sit in her office, print some documents, get ready to work and then she can talk to you". So, it was clear that the guest is the last in the list. I informed the situation to some staff members that night who listened but at the end said: please tell all this to the manager tomorrow cause we can't do anything about it. The next day the recepcionist tried to clarify the matter with me saying her rudeness was a misunderstanding. I am sure she was rude and her boss made her apologize. Anyway we got 1 shuttle as a courtesy but the next day it kept coming late. Rooms could have more light and breakfast could be so so much better. Also we were not really sure if the area were the hotel is located is really safe or not. If it is not, I think the hotel should make some suggestions to the guests in order to be safe. The only aspect I absolutely highlight from this hotel is Danielle who was the recepcionist the night we arrive and then he was working at the bar. He was very nice and makes the best cappuccinos. He treated us with the hospitality we expected from all the staff members but did not receive from anyone else.

Simple inexpensive hotel

The rooms were very clean. It has fairly basic furniture, more like a dorm. Very adequate if you are looking at something inexpensive and clean. We would have liked a fridge, a table and a safe in the room. The breakfast buffet was fairly basic selection. Basically pre-packaged food. Food was a bit too open for us as there were flies in the food area and landed on the food. We would have liked more a better transfer schedule to Rome.

Poor service at check in and below average room. Air conditioner did not work very well. Odour in room. Breakfast was poor with discoloured deli meat.

Stayed here for a convention at a nearby hotel that was already fully booked. Good hotel for the cost, basic, but clean and comfortable. Staff were all exceptional, friendly, polite, and helpful. Breakfast was very limited, but adequate.

Staff so rude! Here is one example. I asked for an iron, the hotel was full and they said they would find it in someone’s room and bring it to me. After 2 days I asked if they had found the iron yet and the reception staff man told me to go and buy one!! The first day I went out, it was 40 degrees, so hot. As there are no facilities in my room to keep drinks cold or boil water, I asked reception for a glass of cold water. They gave me half a glass and told me to buy it. Unbelievable, that my basic needs were frowned on. I felt very unwelcome here and will tell everyone not to stay here.

Dear Guest, We thank you for the time you spent on your review we are sorry about the inconveniences encountered during your stay, during the event you attended we got the chance and bought 3 irons, unfortunately a lot of your not very polite colleagues decided to use them throughout the living room and not giving the possibility to others to be able to use them, a sign of lack of education being an object available to all guests, for the water in the bar we offered her more than a glass of water and her request to have the bottle the colleagues reminded her that it is for sale, it is our habit never to ask for payment for a glass of water. I assure you that I will report my discontent to my staff and surely the untrained answers will be punished. I also inform you that the ibis chain does not have mini-bars or kettles in its rooms, as per the standard international procedure. I take this opportunity to extend my cordial greetings. This was my second time staying in your hotel. Alltogether went well except that i woke up in the night to drink some water and realized no drinking water in the room, i suggest to add some water bottles in the rooms and a fridge would be nice too.

After I had dinner in the hotel, I requested to add in my room charge. The front desk refused my request without any reason. Besides, when I checked in, I told them that I would use the shuttle bus next day morning. But when I checked out, they told me that I had to reserve the shuttle bus service in advance. So I had to pay 30€ by taxi on my own in 10 minutes to FCO airport.

We are always very pleased with our stays at Ibis hotels. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed a dinner and drinks in your restaurant. However, our room was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No matter what we did to the thermostat..........it was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We even got up early to get out of our room. This hotel really needs to do something about this. We spoke with other guests and they were HOT too!! We enjoyed the organized shuttle service to the airport. It was timely and reasonable and had great air conditioning! We will continue to stay with Ibis hotels.......just get the a/c fixed!!
