The staff was genuinely kind and helpful. The rooms were better than most in Europe. The breakfast was AMAZING. The location was convenient with quick access to mass transit, but the immediate neighborhood lacked the historic charm that most people associate with Barcelona. This was a small thing given that we could hope on a subway, bus or tram and be in charming neighborhoods within 5 minutes. Overall, this is a very nice hotel.

I came back to stay, despite my nightmare last time is was at this hotel. This time I was given an upgrade to the suite. Room 1701 is nice, with a good view. *It would be good if a guest could switch ALL the lights off from one switch by the bed, rather than many switches around the room. The only negative was that I tried to call reception. The phone rang for 45 mins before it was answered!

Best of all: fast and efficient elevator. Breakfast buffet above average. Nice, clean room, but needs some refurbishment (especially bathroom). Nice staff, especially concierge/front desk.

Arrogant staff, and my room wasnt Cleaned every day.

The room we've stayed at was not renovated for quite some time. There were multiple signs of wear and tear pretty much everywhere with the exception of the bathroom. Quality of room service can be rated as adequate and nothing to be crazy about, the team has dropped the ball once in our week-long stay. My expectations for the price and 4-stars hotel tier were higher.

When we checked in no1 asked how was our journey did we find a hotel properly?? Or whats our plan or giving any local tourist information or anything like that. Same with check out we did asked for how to go to Girona airport they gave us only half information. I dont know why you have security rather information desk or concierge?? We hate Barcelona city people are not kind no English taxi drivers ripped off us for £150 from Girona to hotel even if we asked him how much?? Tram people fined us for €100each as being a tourist we didnt know that we goto buy tickets b4 we get on as we saw a man with machine inside and we thought we can asked hime how much and other information .when my husband got angry and disagree to pay he pushed him on tram track. Police been called but police useless too adviced us to goto tram ofgice . Went out for food they always got us wrkng food .

All was good, but nothing was special. Moquette on the ground in the room is not longer acceptable in a 4 stars hotel in 2019

Overall positive experience. Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast, however large queue if you come to breakfast after 9.00 am. Sofa bed in a family room not sizeable enough for children above 10 years old.

Hotel is very good for stay in Barcelona city. All staff are excelent and people are very happy to attend us on our trip. The room are perfect size and facilities for our stay. Breakfast is very good and bar service on rooftop are amazing. Hotel is very good position for our mobilite in the city, metro, bus, tram are very close stations and if you prefeer walking is very good and near from many places. My only concern is about restaurant for dinner. we have bad experience with our dinner and is better to have your dinner on other restaurants in city. In front hotel are a shopping with some good options.

I had to go down to reception 4 times to change key card due to not working. Drain in the shower was slow to drain, so was standing in a bath tub full of water each time we showered.
