We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a delux room and it was so central to everything. The rooms were large, clean and decorated very tastefully. The staff were so pleasant, nothing was too much trouble . The breakfasts were amazing, there was everything anyone could want and the egg and pancake stations meant they were so fresh.

This property was even more beautiful than the pictures. The grounds are breathtaking complete with two pools- one is closer to the beach and one is adults only hidden in the garden(we didn’t frequent). Room was very spacious and had many amenities including complimentary water/coffee/tea. Nice big balcony. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I went this myself and a friend and had a very relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this resort to couples. We had the breakfast buffet included and it was very good. Omellete station and waffle station as well as an assortment of breads including gluten free options, some traditional Indonesian dishes, and many juices. The pool area is quiet and doesn’t play music and drink service can be a bit slow. The grounds get very quiet in the evening and restaurants seemed empty at night They provide buzzers at your pool chair however take a while to come.

Our stay in the hotel was fantastic. I could present a long list of positive sides about your resort. First of all the staff was exceptional. All people at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful ! I could see in their eyes that they like what they do - it's a good sign ! Check-in and check-out was very smooth. Staff spreaded around the hotel was also kind and not intrusive, you won't notice them until you need them :) Breakfast were superb. I really like the egg station, fruits and variety of products. Good and healthy ! We really like a lizard Alu - we liked him so much that we even sang a song for him - I think he appreciated that and he swam towards us and get out of the water and was listening. We were happy that we have found a gift from you waiting in our room - a toy lizard, Alu I guess ? Swimming pools were great. The garden pool was great when we wanted to read in silence, the ocean one was great when we wanted to tan, listen to music or play basketball ! We visited the restaurant few times - food was delicious, top-notch service ! SPA was also fantastic. Not that expensive I would say and great people working there ! :) I guess that apart from listening about good think you would like to know how could you improve. I always say that excellence is in details, so I would change wardrobe hangers in rooms (we had room 275 - I guess the situation could be similar in other rooms). Hangers look very old, have lots of scratches and rust on it. Besides of that, it was great ! :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Royal Beach. When I arrived I was told that my room would not be ready until 2:30pm - your check-in is 2pm. I had been travelling for nearly 24 hours so not very happy and when I complained, the Duty Manager explained that the delay was due to me receiving a room upgrade which was much appreciated but the girl on reception should have advised me of this to avoid any mis-understanding. The bedroom was huge and well furnished, the bed was amazing and I slept like a dream during each night at the hotel and the bed linen was great. The hotel gardens are beautifully maintained by the staff, both pool areas are lovely but I preferred to sit in the gardens near the beach so that I could watch the sun set each evening. Breakfast was amazing and I loved the egg station, and especially the scrambled egg with smoked marlin which was delicious. I also enjoyed the quinoa salad at lunchtime. I had a lovely massage at the spa and bought some gifts from the hotel shop. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was the gym - the X-trainer was out of action for the duration of my stay and there were only 2 yoga mats for people to use/share!! The space is brilliant but could be utilised better with more CV equipment as well as opening at 6am instead of 7am. I would return again if staying in Seminyak.

Overall it was a very nice experience. The only thing that would have made our stay is better is in the details. 1: at breakfast, not personal. I believe if you stay at any hotel longer then 1 or 2 nights at one point the staff should be capable/ have to recognize guests, not by name but they have to know your staying for a longer period of time. 2: the bathrooms are ready for renovation, the bathroom in room 148 I think does not meet up with the standard of a premium hotel like the royal beach.

The room was beautiful. Staff always helpful and friendly. Prices for drinks and pool service were fine. The pool is a massive attraction very serene and restful to cool off in and just for relaxing. The check in was easy. It was not quite clear about the concierge role as far as giving local advice and their level of English as they are an important point of contact in a large international hotel. There was no little shop at the Hotel to buy easy Aussie style snacks and packeted ice-creams would have been good as it’s not so easy just to walk down the street for non Balinese snacks.

My time at Royal Beach Seminyak is a highlight of my holidays. As a repeat guest I truly appreciate the ‘extra mile’ the staff and management team go to. Its like coming home but with added surprises! To walk into our room and see a hand written welcome note, a frame photo of our last visit - well its just a very special way to start our holiday. We are treated like royals indeed! Every staff member we engaged with were professional yet had not lost the extraordinary Balinese charm and grace that is internationally acclaimed. It makes it a very easy decision to return again and again. The rooms, ammenities, food options, swimming pools and immmaculate grounds are a credit to the Royal Team. I congratulate the management for their ‘hands on’ approach with guest interaction, a lovely touch to our mornings.

My husband and I have never been to Bali before and recently stayed for 13 nights here. I can't complain at how the staff treated us. We were lucky enough to spend our 17th wedding anniversary there and on arrival we were treated with a beautiful plate of hand made cakes in tge presentation of a bride and groom & a bottle of wine. On our action anniversary we were met at breakfast and I was presented with a beautiful hand made necklace, very much like a dream catcher, stunning! All tge staff were extremely polite and helpful and tge grounds are amazing. Perfect hop onto the beach for sunset, I must say the location was ideal. We heard Mr Vincent is the manager of the complex and if you're privaliged enough he may say hello. Otherwise he will just walk past you. I have to say he was the only member of staff that didn't make the effort to say hello, even when passing. However his staff have got the hotel the 10 score. Impeccable manners and always smiling.

Above expectation which is what is now common when staying at the Royal Beach. An unexpected upgrade, beautifully maintained grounds, special detail to food and excellent attention to care of guests from staff who were always present but unobtrusive. The way a Bali holiday shouldbe and a peaceful retreat in the middle of Seminyak which can definitely be over the top at times.
