Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was the toaster at breakfast which was extremely slow. Please invest in new toasters.

As always a comfortable and quiet nights sleep. Check-in efficient, sadly no double beds available Staff at breakfast in the morning were very quick to clear away dirty dishes however slow to replenish food. At one point the pastries had run out. Quality of bacon was good however the scrambled eggs were over cooked.

Great hotel, very well situated And just a short walk to the city centre. Our room was very clean and spacious. We stayed during the heatwave so the cool climate control was very welcome! The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

« Poor quality room that had a bathroom that smelled mildly of urine »

The room was a disabled room i think? It also had a weird smell and was tiny! The breakfast was also quite poor, but its a budget hotel. I don't want to haul you over the coals for that. The room was however smelly and tiny.

« A practical choice - basic accommodation in a good position for the key city sights »

The rooms are basic. The beds comfortable. The bathroom was like a student pod and had a strong smell of drains which improved if we left the basin plug in. Towels were a bit threadbare. Breakfast was poorly presented and felt more like a motorway cafe. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Have stayed in the past and feel it has now become a bit shoddy.

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions both on business and in more recent years for pleasure. The hotel is well located within the city centre near to shops, bars, restaurants and tourist sights. The hotel has lovely friendly staff. The rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast has plenty of variety on offer.

Ibis Bristol is centrally situated with everything in easy reach. We found the hotel and its facilities in excellent condition and it had everything we needed. The welcome was good and the staff excellent and friendly. Our first visit but we are already planning to return.

« Sat isfied with our stay. »

Had a problem when we arrived at the hotel with the key card. The door would not open and we needed several trips down to the reception to try and solve the problem. The door had to be opened with the master key in the end and we were eventually given another room. Everything else was satisfactory. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

« Pleasant one night stay »

Well located. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast - and again the staff reacted immediately when seagulls started picking at leftovers on a nearby table. We were worried it may be noisy but it was fine. We slept very well. All in all a very good stay, even if it was a little pricey for normal ibis standards. To reiterate, the interactions with the two staff members were great (a Hungarian lady and a Spanish guy).
