Ww had a ic stay Ibis Bristol Centre. The only was well located and clean. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Great location but soo noisy

Location can’t fault. But. . Bathroom pod ! Shower leaked, and anytime a toilet etc was flushed above we heard it travel through the pod! As it was a Saturday night it was noisy well into early hours of morning. Dogs barked as this is a pet friendly hotel? The the room upstairs seemed to be doing some hammering? Not what you think but a couple of distinctive bangs then pause for mins then a couple of bangs. This went on for hours! Would not stay here again.

My initial contact with the hotel was great, I booked 6 rooms directly over the phone on behalf of others and then followed up on email to add some additional rooms for a large booking. However, upon check-in, one of the guests I'd booked for was asked to pay for their room even though it had been pre paid. Another guest with a guide dog was also asked to leave the breakfast room even though it is legal to have a guide dog in all areas of the hotel, this was disappointing to hear as the guest had to justify and argue with the waiter who refused to let them stay there. I am not sure whether we would look to use this hotel again.

Bed bugs, no bin, rubbery food

The stay was pretty sub standard, on the first day I woke up to fins bed bugs in the bed, followed by a rather rubbery and almost reheated type breakfast. The room was missing a bin or anyway to throw rubbish away. The TV was missing loads of the freeview channels, it had also had the HDMI ports locked out so I could not watch TV / Films from my laptop. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable as were the cushions. The shower also overflowed due to the drain not working correctly.

the only unfortunate thing that happened was a bit of confusement with the payment for my room - it should have been handled by a travel agent, but I was initially charged the full rate to my debit card, however that got fixed later by the travel agent and the hotel, but unfortunately I lost a bit of money due to the exchange rates
