I have stayed at Ibis Gonzaga a few times and I have never had something to complain but this last time was such a bad experience. The bedroom was smelly and the bathroom was dirty. I didn’t enjoy at all.

We like the Ibis Hotel, clean and the staff very good, don't had problem in the last week, when we stay in that hotel, the breakfast, but the wine menu is very, very poor. Maybe including 3 or 4 different labels coming from other countries, as it exists in ibis congonhas improve.

The best things about the hotel are its location and price. Also people at reception spoke English. However, while you wait to check in, you can see furniture in the reception area covered with a layer of dust. Then the bathrooms in the rooms are quite dirty as well. Finally, checking out took me between 15 and 20 minutes, given the room was paid at check in.

The hotel staff is extremely nice, thoughtful and cooperative. The hotel is managed in a most unprofessional manner, security is nil as anyone can walk in unnoticed, and one gets the impression that it is possibly understaffed, especially in the restaurant area where it is visible. The parking system, that services three (3) different clients (2 hotels and club), can be disastrous as we had to, upon departure, call for mechanical assistance (Fenix Baterias) for assistance because of a car-jockey leaving an internal light on in our car for four days, not to mention the garage`s installations. Because of this, after checking out, we spent some two and a half hours cooling our heels, with our baggage, in the heat outside the hotel, and we still must visit a mechanic here in Sao Paulo to re-configure part of the car`s system, including radio.

I liked the staff approach and kindness, the room was clean and the air conditioner worked as expected. Talking about some opportunities from my point of view, it took more than 20 minutes to have someone helping me with the check in (I had to stay waiting this time in front of the desk as there was only one staff available), on the coffee there was some delay to replace stuff and in the first day there was no cream cheese available, we had to go to the cafeteria to ask for a spoon for my wife to take her medicine and last but not least there was only one extra pillow available for a double bed room.
