Overall the hotel was good. Parking was difficult to access for low sports cars - our Morgan grounded twice on the way in. This needs pointing out on the website

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly , the rooms were clean and comfortable . The breakfast was good and there is adequate parking. Just a short uphill walk to the town square. Would recommend.

One over night stay. Chief Receptionist, Sebastian, I think he is called, is a local man who takes a great pride in his home town. Keen to advise on places to visit and how to get to them. Showed great interest in my World War I research. Top man.

Nice and well kept hotel. The cook proposes a limited menu but interestingly local. Noisy at time (groups). Last breakfast at low level resulting from group: could be clever to provide a minimum and not all at first.

« Nicely noisy renovated room overlooking the busy street with carpet instead of clean laminated floor »

Badly located room overlooking the street and not properly insulated to remove the noise. I was expecting a form of laminated flooring instead of carpet after the renovation. I guess that carpet is less noisy... Service and personnel was fine.

The hotel was available. The room had stains on the ground, tub had pubic hairs in it, the bed was awful, no fridge in the room. The only good thing was the internet. Breakfast bacon never looked cooked, orange juice machine was broken and never cleaned and I saw the front desk clerk handle the food with his hands after dealing with money and not washing their hands.

« Nice hotel which can be improved »

Overall I had a nice stay. The hotel room was quite basic despite the price. When I arrived the heating was turned off meaning that my room was very cold... I was tired from my trip so this made it even more difficult for me. Also I noticed that despite the fact that I was leaving the heating on, when I was returning from work, it was turned off ( put in zero !!)probably by a member of staff.I didnt appreciate this at all. Breakfast was very nice.and had a great variety. Staff was very polite and always smiling , willing to help at whatever a customer nedded. The wifi was really slow three outof the four days ofy stay. I tried the wifi of another floor , as indicated by a member of staff, but I still had the same issue.

No wifi, no room amenities (paper, pens, soap, etc.). Room door didn't shut properly. No soap in the shower. This was a relatively expensive hotel stay for very little service.

You will find easily these amenities in four star hotel. About the door and the soap shower, we have the contract 15', if you report a problem in your room we have 15' to resolve it.
