Room was hot no air conditioning can’t have windows open due to being on first floor room safe inoperative dissappointed with hotel being a mecure stayed at other mecure hotels nite and day difference this hotel should be an ibis at best the only positive great shower and people working really nice

At the moment we have the sommer of the century in Switzerland. Laws/Regulations allow us to cool max 8°C to the outside temperature. All our widows have a special crack funktion where you can feel very safe when opened. I arrived early for my stay at Mercure Stoller and only expected to drop my luggage at reception and return later to check, however, the staff made a series of phone calls to ensure that i was able to check in straight away. As always the staff here go out of their way to facilitate all requests and are most helpful and accommodating.

Decent room, I didn’t like the fact that my floor in the bathroom stepped about 2 inches down from the bedroom floor. Broke my toe the first day exiting the bathroom not realizing it was like that. I also wished to change the temperature of my room for sleeping at night to be cooler, but that was not available.

Had to return to reception following check-in to ask what time breakfast was, where it was served and how to turn air conditioning on. There are no written details provided in the room. Ther is more info provided on the coffee maker ! Air conditioning never did work. Breakfast good

Very disappointed; room size small, bathroom so small, I have never seen. Entrance to the hotel has no face, lobby needs upgrading. Breakfast not that appealing, not many choices. Rooms are not air conditioned.

The stay was good. Good access by the trams. The room was quiet, but very warm. Also, would appreciate having a top sheet as the duvet was too hot. More towels would have been appreciated. None of the housekeeping staff spoke English so it was hard to communicate with them.

Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Bathroom shower is poorly designed - it guarantees that there is water on the floor and every time you put your head under the shower you stand on the bathtub stopper causing the bathtub to fill up.

I choose the hotel for some business work in Schlieren. Good rooms, noiseless air-conditioning, and a tiny screen in the bathroom that mirrors content from the TV. I gave the receptionist my address for the invoice, he did not process that I lost some time in checkout. A good breakfast, but warm stuff was only available from 7:20; fortunately I had plenty of time. Please improve on this little things and I can give a better rating in overall experience.

When I entered the room, the poor hygiene made me have nasal congestion and running nose instantly. The symptoms disappeared when I left the room for dinner. When I checked out the room next morning, I found that there were itchy red spots appeared in my back neck.

My stay was very comfortable. The staff was five star, thank you for providing a welcome respite. My only issue was the internal building noise until 0100. Not sure what it was but it woke me up more than once. Restaurant? Elevator? Loud guests? not sure but to have your suites exposed to this diminished my comfort.

« Pleasant overnight stay »

The room was a bit small with the sofa bed opened up, but that is to be expected in a city hotel. The beds are comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom is quite small and we found it perplexing that a tv screen was fitted in the bathroom when that space could be better used as storage or bench space. It was somewhat annoying that the tv does not turn off independently from the tv in the main room. We found the functioning of the light switches somewhat confusing and think labelling might be helpful.

The experience was overall nice. Rooms are very clean and well maintained, this is highly appreciable. The facilities are very nice. I had stayed at the hotel also earlier in January 2017. The restaurant staff are very courteous. The only disappointment was that I booked for Queen Bed but was given room with twin beds ( hotel needs to be mindful of this).
