I wonder who thought to put the aircon to one side of the wall and not in the middle of the wall where both beds would have the benefit of cool air? hope this can be improved and only 2 teabags for 2 people? joke?

Very enjoyable stay. Good room, excellent breakfast and beautiful well kept surroundings. Only criticism was room not ready until after 3pm on arrival which was inconvenient as my wife was feeling unwell.

« Best place for relaxing holiday »

As always a warm welcome from the smiling and polite staff at the reception. Nice clean area with bungalows in a quiet garden. You can sit on your balcony in the evening and only hear the waves over the reef. Large breakfast buffet including all you want including eeg- and pancake station. Excellent beach with sunbeds. Overall smiling and helpful staff.

« Great location but the room was a shocker »

This hotel has a great beach and gardens but the room was a shocker. Stains on the sheets and soft furnishings, coupled with a rotting window frame and mould in the bathroom, made room 781 at the Mecure Resort Sanur one of the dodgiest I've ever stayed in. Then there was the balcony balustrade, which is rotten and loose, and could be very dangerous to anyone who leans their body weight upon it. Lift your game Accor.

« Staff were wonderful, buildings rundown, some sewer very stinky, some gardens great. »

Our stay was a roller coaster started with our room not being ready until 6pm. Our room was fabulous, excellent location . The sewer vent from the neighboring public pool toilets was unbelievable we couldn’t use our private garden or even open our windows. During the night the sewer/drain smell from the ensuite would overwhelm us.tried for two nights then couldn’t do it anymore . Staff at reception very helpful in relocating us by the other pool Having to move after being settled . Our child got food poisoning suspect from the breakfast buffet On site Dr and clinic Dr excellent Took 5 days to get better ‍♀️Location overlooking the pool New rooms very clean and renovated inside Exterior very rundown roof covered with a tarp. It would be a fantastic idea to explain to guests what events were planned during their stay both within the resort and neighboring areas. We were not aware of the yoga center next door until exploring. I stumbled across the Regae Concert the day we were leaving (held within walking distance) had been there the night before we would have loved to go. There is also a small adventure cove within walking distance that we found on the last day. A little events managment would go along way. We won’t be back, for the price paid there are so many more resorts and villas that don’t give the impression that the Mercure sanur gives.

I am regret to know that you face some inconvenience experience during your stay. It surprises me to read the detail of your review as it was definitely not reflecting the usual standard of service we offer to all our guests. Please rest assure that I have been communicated your concern of check in with our Housekeeping Manager for our evaluation and improvement. With regards to the resort building, we continuously working in enhancing our resort. Over the last few months we have focused on new bedroom tiles, bathroom tiles, wall painting and floor grouting. As for the roof, indeed it is challenging to maintain grass roof among big trees around the resort as it is very fragile to humidity. We have scheduled the repair work despite high occupancy in our resort. We will work diligently to do the best we can prior to any refurbishment approved by the Resort’s Owners without risking other guest’s experience while rectification works are carried on. I am sorry to hear that your child was not feeling well, I did check with my team on period of your stay that there was no report of the food poisoning we received. Since contaminated food can take anywhere from minutes to days to cause illness, we did investigation with my team and I believe that our food it has been process following the hygiene standard. We also do not have any similar case record during your stay. It would be very appreciated if we could exchange further the feedback with you via email. I enjoyed my stay - staff were friendly and provided good service in general. Disappointed that staff failed to respond to email requests to amend my booking made prior to my travel. Eventually they agreed to my request during my stay but didn’t make it easy. Complex could do with some maintenance work - black plastic on rooves detracts from the complex as a whole.

« Location brilliant, hotel a bit dated »

My first impression of the hotel was pretty poor. It’s getting past its used by date - black plastic protecting the roofs of the accommodation huts, a very average playground (a slippery dip!), very noisey fridge in room etc Because I couldn’t get my money back I stayed the full week and ended up really enjoying being there. The location is just beautiful, so lazy and shady under the trees on the beach, outdoor massages, cycling along the coast. I’m not sure I’d return, though. The hotel is looking and feeling tired. And the pool temperatures are overly warm!

The room was lovely, large and with a very nice view over the garden. I enjoyed the spa immensely - it was very reasonably priced and the service was fantastic. The swimming pool was the nicest I have swum in. The water was warm and very soft, with just the right number of spa jets. The reason for a score or 9 rather than 10 was that the food could improve a little, as could the wine by the glass and the cocktails.

The employees are all very very nice and helpfull. Not only at the reception, but also cleaning, at the restaurant, gardening etc. Rooms are oké and clean, beds are good, but rooms need a little renovation. The location is perfect. And also the possibilities when your flight home is a bit later, they have very good options for relaxing and having a shower. Very good hospitality.

We stayed in a superior room which was very clean and very big , room was a bit tired looking but overall was very nice. Shower was amazing! Grounds are gardens were very well maintained. Overall it was nice, all staff was very helpful and polite. My only negative experience was in the beach near the Surf Shack. I was at the same spot in front of the beach two days, and felt very uncomfortable when some staff members (besides the surf shack person) were eating and hanging out both days there and they were loud and I felt like they were staring a lot at the people laying out in bathing suits around them. The second day it made me feel too uncomfortable and I decided to leave the beach and move to the pool instead.
