I stayed in Novotel Port Harcourt 12 years ago and apreciated it at that time. Staff is very nice and available to help. Room is spacious and correctly furnished. Good value for money. However, the hotel requires some refreshement as it shows signs of aging.

The breakfast buffet was nice and had a variety of options however ,Room was unclean especially the cups and jugs. Food order was missed up and the laundry took almost an hour instead of 30minutes as told. Reception staff were aloof and not particularly welcoming or helpful ( one was attending to about three guests while her colleague chatted away in pidgin with someone else on the phone. I asked for a jug of hot water for coffee because the electric jug in the room was dirty. Room service came without the water and didn’t bother taking away the dirty electric jugs.

It was a warm welcome at the hotel, the front desk official was very nice to me, environment was serene. The issue i had was with the housekeeper. I needed something and had to call several times but they hardly picked the phone. And one of them was very rude to me when he eventually answered. And i think the towels are a little too old. I enjoyed my stay.

I was given a very inflated bill without the staff member checking that the bill was accurate and that, raised my blood pressure. I was shocked to see a bill for 30k instead of 16K. I felt very disappointed and embarrassed. Not fair at all

My air conditioner was not working properly and there is quite a bit of delay for room service. The receptionist should be more professional and stop paying attention to familiar faces and treat request on first come basis.

Hotel was good, centrally located, yet in feels serene. Food choices were fairly sparse, but my major problem was the lack of attention to diners by restaurant staff, who seem to assume that all guests should know their way around. Rooms were adequately furnished, but bedding appear cream color rather than white, even though clean. Overall, my stay went well.

I had a satisfactory stay in Novotel, Port Harcourt. I noticed a lot of improvement especially in the environment and the rooms. Your Security arrangement is simply amazing. However, a lot still has to be done. 1) You should try and automate your check in process. A regular guest shouldn't be filling Guest Form every time he/she checks into the hotel. The details of such guest ought to be in your system. 2) Try and bring in more variety in your food (the protein in your national food). Meanwhile, the take away arrangement in your buffet is quite commendable. 3) We need electric iron in your rooms or you make it clear to your guest that they can call for it. 4) I have a feeling that your Staff are not well remunerated. Consider a review of their remuneration package.

Good hotel with great hospitality and service from the personnel. All though there was some construction going on, the hotel was clean and nice. Well protected behind what seems to be a well-organized and structured security. Some of the best I have witnessed in Port Harcourt. Only minor negative thing is the lack of a proper fitness facility. I will be back :-)

My experience was great except for the fact that I could not use my Accor miles to upgrade to a bigger room/Suite. Was only moved from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor, which they said was an upgrade.
