« Considering this was Nigeria I was satisfied with my stay, I have been in a lot worse hotels. »

Reception staff very polite and friendly smiling faces, restaurant staff friendly, but bar staff well lets say they could smile once in a while

Just basic not what i would have expected from hotel of Novotel standard. Internet was very ………… poor. The food was okay but the restaurant needs reorganisation and they seem under staffed. Finding someone to attend to you was difficult. The only positive for me was the Duty Manager JOY the day i checked in. She was a professional, went extra mile in trying to ensure i was satisfied. My room was meant to be changed the next day but no one bothered. When i was about checking out discovered another guest bill was passed to my room and was delayed at the reception for a while to clarify and resolve it. Thank God i had my payment confirmation with me.

1. Mix-up with food room service. Delivered wrong meal even after emphasis. 2. Did not enjoy the meals. I ended up eating outside the hotel for the rest of my stay. 3. During breakfast a kitchen staff who was not a chef was called to fry eggs. Person ended up not able to fry the eggs neatly. 4. Bed and room was nice and comfy. 5. Front desk staffs were very nice and professional.

First, let me preference this by saying that I have stayed in the Novotel before and have had pleasant experiences. But unfortunately, that was not the case in Port Harcourt. Despite having a reservation and guaranteeing that reservation before arrival, the hotel sold my rooms. Instead of admitting that the hotel had double booked our rooms, the staff began to lie that the hotel had no connection to the reservation systems. After my colleague and I proved them wrong they tried to right their wrong by finding an available room. However, my colleague and I were forced to spend the night in the same room. After this experience, I am not sure I will stay in another Novotel.

Despite my reservation for about a month, I couldnt stay at the Novotel as my room had been given out. I was thus stuck without a room or any accommodation in a State I don't know. Very very disappointed. Never again

At the point of check inn the front desk lady was good and perfect. But while checking out I was billed all over again for the two days I stayed , despite the fact that I have paid at check in time. Also I was billed for breakfast which I’did not take. And at the end of the day I got bank alert for N900.00 extra charge on my card. This is a very poor service.
