We booked on a whim driving from Sydney to Melbourne on a business trip...the receptionist was fantastic, we were in a jovial mood when booking, she totally got in on our humour. She also surprised us by getting us a beachfront room. The parking people were courteous & helpful, as were the desk staff. A too brief, fantastic stay. Thanks!

Easy check in & out, we were welcomed by a lovely girl with a smile. Also easy parking & left our keys with the parking attended who was very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately the clock radio alarm went off at midnight & woke us up so unplugged for a quick fix. Maybe staff could check this to avoid any further midnight wake ups.

Great position, friendly efficient staff but dining experience was not up to scratch in the dining room on Saturday night - I had fish and potatoes which was not worth $32 ( have just been to Noosa and you cannot compare the dining experience for the same price.

All good - allowed to check in early - service and staff were good. One downpoint was that the bacon in the breakfast bar was on a bed of bread - without signage indicating so. I'm Coeliac so thats a big problem as I didnt notice the first day and ate bacon. I cant attribute it specifically to this but I was quite unwell the first day I stayed. (Its an auto-immune disease so even spores of gluten on the bacon will make me significantly unwell). When I noticed the restaurant staff did get some fresh bacon. The front desk and duty manager (Mikayla ?) took it very seriously and said that they would address it - so it was a frustrating situation but your employees were great. it just should never have happened.

« A bit of a let down »

We booked the Novotel having stayed at a few before ands to their high standards. When we arrived at our room we were very unimpressed and felt very let down. The room was extremely bare with just a bed and 1 chair. I think they were obviously banking on the views doing all the work. There was no way of listening to any music as the radio was broken. We paid nearly $500 for this room and would not recommend it or stay here again.

Stayed with my family for my birthday for 2 nights and we had a wonderfull experience. I received a birthday surprise in my room which kicked off a special stay. All staff we encountered were very professional and helpful - reception, valet, matienance, housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff.

We stayed in an ocean facing room with a balcony. The room was spacious and well appointed with very efficient air conditioning. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. We were comfortable and well looked after for the entire stay. And..... the “full English” breakfast hit the mark for these visiting Brits!

I called the hotel directly for the booking and then again for the car park booking and the staff were really helpful and friendly. On arrival at the hotel I was greeted with a friendly smile and quick check in. The rooms were clean so overall I was really happy with the hotel and the service. Great location as well.

Overnight stay for two SYDNEY/siders. We wanted to enjoy the hotel and booked for buffet breakfast. We also had room service in. All was fine but at the price I hoped for a bit better. The view speaks for itself but the room and bathroom was not five star.
