Great hotel in a great location. On arrival we were greated with a glass of bubbly and staff were polite and helpful. Room was great, had a balcony room over looking the beach. Both bar and restuarant were excellant great omelet.

Hotel was great, nice room, comfy beds, gorgeous balcony overlooking ocean. Lovely staff at reception. My only negative experience was when booking the hotel, I was on the Accor hotels website to book a room and my mum decided to call reception to check availability and the person she spoke to said they could book the room. They asked for my Accor member number so I left the page to get it and when I went back to the page the rate had increased. The person who did the booking over the phone didn't believe me when I said the rate had been 10% less. In my view they should have honoured the discount.

Arriving in the afternoon, staff were great from the car parking attendants to the receptionists. After a walk around Manly we turned in only to have our night turned upside down with our 20 month old falling ill. He was very unsettled with a raging temp witch we attempted to lessen with medications and a luke warm shower. My boy has a set of lungs and cries with his heart and sole however only about 5 mins passed we were called by the night Manager (sorry I didn't catch her name) who was responding to a complaint from our wonderful neighbours. She asked if she could help. Our boy had spewed up on the bed and we requested linen. Instead we were moved to a new room hopefully away from other guests. The next afternoon the Assistant Manager David called to see how we were and offer his assistance. I explained that our boy hadn't rallied but his temp was under control. David offered us another room likely away from our very considerate neighbour who no doubt called that afternoon concerned that our son may again have a disrupted night. David moved my family to another room which unnecessarily was an upgrade, but did wonders to settle the stress of my wife and child. GIve David a medal please. He didn't take sides but delivered an outcome for us that won't be soon forgotten. Rose was also very helpful throughout the Thursday. As for our neighbours I'm disappointed I didn't get the opportunity to thank them personally for the caring patience and understanding they showed. I can only hope that someone is there for them when they have unforseen difficulties. Thanks guys. You were awesome. We hope to be back soon (and healthy)!!

Staff were always willing to try and help- the wi fi was down and an engineer was sent up to the room straight away. Had breakfast one day- not up to Novotel usual standard. So we did not have it again. Again staff were great it was the food that was mediocre. We had two evening snacks which were adequate. We had steak- not good quality- it was only $15 but I could have bought a very good piece of steak for that. Dining staff was terrific.

As usual I had a great experience at the hotel the only downside was the fact that there was no milk and even though I asked for some I didnt get any. It was very minor but I do enjoy sitting on the balcony taking in the beautiful view with a cup of tea in the morning. It's why I keep coming back.

Great spot and beautiful views but very disappointed with the suite, the rooms needed a good vacuum as we found someone else’s undies under the dressing table in the main bedroom, very stained carpet,peeling paint and the worst was how black the seals In the showers with mildew. Not a good impression

Fabulous stay, great service, staff as usual were very attentive, polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant was fresh and tasty, very clean. The garage attendant was extremely helpful and very polite. In fact all the staff we came across were fabulous, you don't often see the cleaning staff and room attendants but the staff we encountered were great. This Hotel is in a fabulous location and would not hesitate too stay again, Manly is a beautiful place, we enjoyed our stay very much thanks to everyone.

Refreshing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and yet be close enough to enjoy it. Ease of access to the ferry service, restaurants and the beach. A pleasant stay. Staff arranged a beach view room for us. Car parking good.

We had a complementary stay this time given to us by novetel due to bad customer service the last time I had stayed which I was very thankful for. This time the customer service was wonderful, but on the downside when we were on our way up to our room for the first time we got stuck In the lift for 5 mins and the lift was bouncing scaring myself and my 10 month old. Once we got out there was no apology given that was very disappointing and I told them to get it fixed that was obviously ignored as 5 mins later people were using the same lift we got stuck in. I continued to use the stairs for the end of my stay. When I was putting my son in the bath there was hair stuck in the drain. Obviously it wasn’t cleaned properly. Also we were woken at 2am as the fire alarm was going off and the speaker came on to explain that it was a false alarm. I was thankful for the complementary stay and customer service was great but I would recommend staying there.
