« Room was a tad small everything else good »

The main things were no lift and size of the room. I probably didn’t research enough as being advertised as a budget hotel probably needed more looking into. The bed was great - plenty of room. Also the breakfast although basic was good value. More than adequate for a night or two but not much longer. Overall more than adequate.

« Not bad »

The accommodation we paid was worth it. We are family of 4 so we hired a family room. We are also a member of accor hotels. Normally we don't pay breakfast for our children but in Ibis Gosford we did. $9. For a bowl of serial per person is bit too much. We will stay again in Ibis Gosford next time But the breakfast in a no go.

« Last minute booking a little over priced »

We booked the room last minute for a concert, the money we paid for the room wasn't really matched back in the room size or experience. The blinds didn't quite work and need replacing, plus were not near the bed for phones and for the cost we could have got a more refined experience elsewhere. We paid $250 for a Queen room and the noise from people in the corridor & from other nearby rooms wasn't expected. we did have a friendly welcome and a clean room

« Excellent location and service »

Comfortable small room. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Great location within walking distance of stadium. No lift in the building so carry your bags up is the only downside of this great little property.

« Not pleasant »

The problem was that when I awoke and in the process partially stripped the bed 3 very unpleasant blood stains were on the sheets. Two were larger than golf balls and the other less obvious but still very much there was several inches long.I drew the Managers attention to this and he was apologetic. He asked if I had been bleeding or had had a guest! No to the first and certainly no to the second as I am 77 and had just left my wife at Gosford Hospital with a hip replacement operation.

As an overnight stay, the bed was comfortable. Bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, floor floods, no soap holder in shower & the only things supplied are 4 small cakes of soap & some tea & coffee.

« Ibis budget - interesting new concept for me , at a great price. »

Handy location, good facilities and a great price. Breakfast was OK and coffee machine at breakfast really good. Something wrong with plumbing and/or air circulation, as sewer smell was present in shower from time-to-time. Really off-putting and needs looking at by professionals.

This was a trip to Sydney. I stayed at the motel, took the train to Sydney central and returned to Gosford. Then travelled home by car.
