This is one of the best hotels i,v stayed the team there take care of all of your needs from check in to check outk they are warm friendly, engaging and extremely professional. This does not happen by accident and takes training and a real care for there guest from the management to the day to day team.... I highly recommend staying there.

« I truly Fabulous, welcoming, comfortable long weekend stay, we loved every minute!! »

We stayed at Ibis Reading and have been coming every year for the last 6 years, for Christmas Shopping, Birthdays and Anniversary’s. We just love the convenience of the Ibis as it is a couple of minutes away from the train stations and Fabulous shopping, all the hotel staff are so helpful, and happy to do anytfor you. The Hotel manager even helped carry our shopping to the train station for us, as he could see we were struggling with all our Christmas shopping bags, so this is a huge shout out to the Ibis in Reading , you are Amazing!!!

The showerhead had reduced waterpower. There was a lot of noise outside from some sort of Fan/exaust and the AC was not working so i had to keep the window open... this was a bad night. the breakfast was ok and the employees where friendly.

I regret that you found the temperature of your room to be too warm and am very sorry if this prevented you from enjoying a good sleep. Our Ibis hotels have an ‘air cooling’ system in place which does differ from air conditioning and this system is partly dependant on the external temperature. According to expected weather conditions for the time of year, the heating was on rather than the cooling system. As in actuality it was unseasonably warm at the time of your stay, I can only apologise if this system was not sufficiently effective on this occasion. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. A straight forward hotel in clean and tidy condition. Areas where improvement could be made:- About 50% of the channels on the TV guide did not have a signal The card control of the lift left a lot to be desired, it was so poor that it introduced bonding with fellow guests who were all trying to make the lift car move. Slatted tables at breakfast make me nervosu about any spillage soiling my clothes.

ideal location lovely bed but could not get to sleep because of late night guest,s coming back from nightclubs after 2am. did talk to reception but all they could say is sorry. also on saturday room was not made up/cleaned till after 2.30 pm. stayed here 3 times in the last 4 years never had a problem before.

« lovely location but spoilt by selfish guest making too much noise at night »

all ok apart from night time drunk,s both nights 2 am onwards. we all go out and enjoy ourself, but i for one do think of other guest and once in hotel will not run about in corridors, jump on the floor or even go up and down in the lift as my other friends had heard all saturday night/sunday morning. also got back at our room at 2.30pm sat and room/bed was not made up so had to complain to reception who said would sort it. so went back out came back in 1 hr and it was done. did complain to reception about the late night antics and all they could say was sorry. spent nearly £300 for two rooms not happy

« Very comfortable but lifts are confusing »

I've stayed here many times and know what to expect. Warm welcome, helpful staff. Easy check in and check out; comfortable bed and adequate basics in room. But whenever I travelled with other guests in the lifts it caused confusion. Many swiped their cards too many times and we never knew which floor we would stop at!
