Staff is good, very friendly and helpful, but the system and some details, are not in the accor standards. Had many incidences, from the checkin online to details in the rooms. This is definitely not a mercure-level hotel.

« Good experience, good service, one small glitch »

For a two-night stay I was delayed in Amsterdam so could not check in for the first night. I rang and was told it was no problem to check in the next day. When I arrived the very polite and pleasant receptionist (Angelika I think) couldn't find any reference to me having a room or my call so I had to wait a few minutes but when Herr Kopp returned (who as it happens I'd spoken to the night before) he immediately checked me in with no fuss - overall a really good experience as I was half-expecting to find the room had been re-sold. Overall the room was good but the one "glitch" was the toilet wasn't cleaned thoroughly before my arrival hence not a ten out of ten. This is a very good hotel with a lovely team and I would recommend it for that and also its location. I'd like to earn some points, never understand why hotels think that because you book through an agency (which I have to do) they do not need to incentivise you to stay with them but that's more about Accor than this hotel

« Very poor. »

Hotel is practically in the middle of a building site, yet still charging a premium rate I had a room opposite the lift, so heard it all night. Road traffic was noisy too. Single pillow was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Air con was noisy, had to turn it off eventually. Duvet was too thin, I was cold. Shower was mouldy and looked dirty. Only enough milk left for one cup of coffee. Worst night in a hotel I have ever had.

« Good, but not as good as before »

Mercure Hotels are always nice. I've stayed at Mercure Stuttgart City Centre a few times, probably 20 nights or more in total. It is always nice, but this time seemed a bit less nice than before. I may stay there again, but I also might try a different alternative. Staff were pleasant and seemed efficient, but a few things didn't go so well this time. The sink in my room didn't drain properly. My room was not cleaned one day after I left at 2:00 p.m. There were always lots of housekeeping carts in the hallway. The breakfast didn't seem as well maintained as before: dirty plates, food items and water not restocked so quickly. The room I was in seemed a bit less spacious than other times at this hotel and other Mercure Hotels as well. This time, I did not receive the door-cards to decline housekeeping in exchange for additional Club Accor points. None of these were big problems, but just not quite up to their usual standard. So, would I come back? Perhaps, the staff are nice, and the location is pretty good, but I am not certain.

The rooms were small but comfortable. Unfortunately the only channel in English was France 24 as the sky channels did not work. I did not understand why the online check in required €300 to be frozen on your card, I found this presumptuous and unnecessary

« I do not have a freedom even to talk at the restaurant guest came to me and would like to pay a beer for us keep quite »

That time was really bad. I am regular guest at hotel this year I stayed on January, July, September and November. You took decision to give a free space besides of restaurant to group of people that last friday was celebrate 35 years anniversary from one employee and then they came to us and start to bother us and ask that we need to move from there do to fact that she was doing her own speek at restaurant and we need to be quite or silent. They offer a beer if we could stop to talk or even move from that table that we had a dinner. Please make sure that there is not the right place to do such of event like that and please take care better your customers like me otherwise I will define as Bosch employees another Hotel to stay in 2018. Additionally last Wednesday we came from Hannover and did the check in after we want to have a lunch at restaurant around 1 PM so someone came to us and informed that wasnt possible because the hotel didn't have a cooker that moment he went to downdown and nobody was able to attend us. Do you think I am happy? Your service is going dowm and you are losing the control, please make sure that business is running well and you keep focus your business unless you will lose the market for the competitor.
