« OK for one night »

The 3 p.m./15:00h check-in time is strictly adhered to without an apology nor a smile. The rooms are tired but realively clean but other than a bar of soap no other bathroom. In fairness, we were allowed a late check-out at 1:30 p.m./13:30h which may explain the strict check-in time. We were able to leave our luggage there for no charge as we had a very late flight.

I have slept 3 nights at Novotel CDG. The overall feedback is positive even if with some room for improvement. The room (323) was quiet and the bed very comfortable. When I got in I noticed the following: 1 of the lights not working (it hasn't been fixed during my staying) the complementary bottle of water was missing (available the following days) and since this room is probably one of those reserved to disabled customers, there was a lot space inside, as they have removed items like a proper desk or small table. When I ordered room service there was no place for the meal tray and had to temporarily position it on my luggage. Also no space left for my laptop and had to work seated on my bed. However room service was perfect, as well as wi-fi connection.

Our stay was very comfortable and everything from check in to checking out for an early flight out of CDG was very easy. We enjoyed a nice meal at the restaurant. Our 2 year old daughter loved the play area. We would have enjoyed the wellness area more but the pool was a bit too cool for our daughter, it is more intended for active swimmers. The hotel room was a good size and very well organized. We had a great sleep in the bed. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations :)

Everything was great. It was comfortable, relaxing. However there was a slight problem. In May, I wrote an email asking about the massage I ordered. ("We expect to arrive at the airport around 3 PM. So would it be possible for our massage to still happen on that same day?") Then the reply was that we could get the massage as we visit the spa center. Reply: ("I can propose to you on the day you will be arriving in the hotel you can ask receptionist to guide you to our wellness center so you can book your massage") Upon arrival, this was obviously not the case as we had to planned. Eventually, it was still fixed, due to some amazing service from the employees at the spa, but we should have been able to plan those massages through e-mail MUCH sooner. And the mail I wrote was over a month before our stay, so I doubt that other massages would have been planned. Other than that, the hotel performed above our expectations. That's why I'm giving a 9 instead of a 10.

had booked a room through booking.com arrived at hotel at 1 am to be informed I did not have a reservation, kept waiting and eventually another room was found for me, I have now been charged twice, for this, I am trying to get my money back, but so far have not received a reply to my email to the hotel or booking.com

« A place I will never stay again. »

Extremely bad. I was tired when I arrived in the middle of the night after a long journey to be told the room we have been booked is no longer there. We were not attended to and waited close to 30 minutes before the manager and the assistant could do so. Believe or not we had another gentleman in front of us had the same fate. A few others also. Finally the manager talked to me and my family. We were deeply upset. He promised to a) Settle us to another hotel b) Refund the current booking We finally arrived at the other N. To our horror they put us in a room where we had one regular bed and a sofa bed. The room was just plain and terrible. We were tired and slept. First thing in the morning we did was checked out, paid our taxes and left. I wish I should have been told ahead that there are no rooms. I contacted Amex travel and they couldn't reach the property either. Very sad experience. I will NEVER stay in Novotel again till an "apology" and "refund" is done for this shoddy behavior. This will not happen in a Marriott or Hilton. Fortunately I'm mistaken in booking a local property than this.

Stayed one night since we had to catch flight next day. But Night front desk staff were not friendly. In fact one male ( tall of African descent) was rude. Actually asked me to come down to get creamer for my coffee at 12.30 AM WE had arrived late night were tired needed coffee no creamer in room. « Good place to stay, but transportation to airport needs work »

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. I wish that the pool would stay open later. The only major problem was the shuttle to the airport which was very late and did not have adequate capacity for all the hotels it serviced. Novotel might wish to consider creating its own shuttle or contracting with another service.

Overall is good. 1. I lost my e-money card, and seems no one care. Only write on notes and forget 2. 7 days at your hotel, and 3 times forget to refill the water 3. 1 day forget to change the bathtub rug.

I got the hotel pretty late, and the receptionist was the worst, I came pretty late because a name confusion (all your hotels has the Novotel at first so even the drivers get confuse) Soo tired and starving, and this woman didn't want to speak English with me, just only the very necessary, just gave me the key, was kind of mad I guess, she didntet me know if there where something to eat and drink, and wasn't just in that hotel, because of the confusion the driver took me to another Novotel and was the exactly thing, a mad guy, not smile at all, treat me so bad.... And please, it's a business hotel, and they didn't have enough connecting adapters at the reception... I don't know, was so bad for me

« Good hotel for airport stay »

Check in was a bit slow. All the staff were on the phone and two were looking after the only other person there. Room was spacious and clean. Decor was a little worn with chips and scratches on furnishings. Mold or mildew in grout in bathroom needs cleaning (room 417) although not terrible now, others will photograph and post if it gets much worse. Bed was comfy. Good night's sleep. TV had a strange lack of English language channels. Only CNN! No BBC etc? I've stayed in Mercure in Paris recently and they have it... why not Novotel? For business travellers and international airport travelling through Paris it would make sense to provide more international channels and less French ones.

« a nice wellness hotel well located near the airport with restaurant service until midnight »

The rooms are ok size, but a bit oudated, small defects here and there due to heavy use. They need remodelling. The swimming-pool is very nice, the sauna and the steam bath as well. The standard room does NOT include a bathrobe, which is inconvenient if you want to go to spa area. The Gourmet Bar is understaffed. It was a mess when we came in, with food rests on the floor, the bar full of glasses. Although the personnel was VERY friendly
