I am so happy. The rooms are perfect and so conveniant. It is quiet, I didnt ear anything from other rooms or in the hallways. The bathroom is big and well organized. Breakfast buffet is good and complete. Thanks!

« Although i was there for a full week of work and meetings, it was relaxing as soon as I got to the hotel. »

Everyone was very nice and it was relaxing as soon as I got to my room. I enjoyed the little perks such as the Hermes toiletries, but mostly, the bed was so nice.

« Amazing staff, really comfortable room, slightly average wi-fi »

Ever staff member I interacted with at this hotel couldn't have been better, they were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I had to arrange a meeting room at late notice and this was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I was upgraded to a lovely large room and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My only gripe was that wi-fi connection was a little unstable, though a reasonably decent speed once connection was established.

My experience is always very good. However there is one point which is a little bit disappointing. I'm now more or less living since 4 years in your hotel. Since a few months you don't accapt Diners Club anymore so that I have to pay a gurantee at the check-in.

The front desk and restaurant staff were great. They were extremely friendly and professional. The staff in the bar were not interested in providing expedient service. Wait times were very long and staff were standing around. Also seemed unfriendly. They should probably start over with new staff.

That was one of the most disappointing visit. First we were accommodated to the already used room, after to the room with separate beds that we found out in the night. After third notice to the reception bed was fixed with bands and we were offered for upgrade and sparkling wine even we three times mentioned that we do not want to move third time and are not in a favor of wine. And as final accord we were offered for the discount for breakfast even it was the best part of our three day stay and charged twice. Reimbursement process is already taking more than 10 days and not completed yet even we keep daily contact with the front office. When reimbursement process will be over we will raise our camplaint to your HQ customer service and booking.com and stress poor level of service and absence of proper management. Unfortunately we have other experiences with the hotel in your chain so can easily compare service level to the level we used to. Best regards Alexander B.

« Great Birthday getaway »

My first trip away between xmas and new year. This was a trip for my 50th Birthday and I let the hotel know this before I travelled. Their customer services team replied back quickly and I was treated to a complimentary bottle of fizz in our room. I had also forgotten a travel adaptor and one was quickly provided by the hotel. The hotel is very near the station and is only a short walk to the main shops and very handy for trams and underground. It is a converted central post office I think but has been very well converted. Our room was on 4th floor and was clean and tidy. I have to say I don't really like the very modern bathrooms with glass sliding doors and blinds to roll down between bathroom and bedroom - I value some privacy ! That said it was very well appointed with complimentary Hermes toiletries. I am a silver card holder and my wife and I enjoyed 2 our normal complimentary drinks in the bar before heading into the town on our first evening. The bar is very comfortable and subtly lit with good service. That's the main message I'd give - which was the service was excellent across the board from cleaning, to checkin, bar and concierge - all 5*. The only real negative (and Sofitel is not alone here) is the price of breakfast - 38 euros each ! For that money I'd want personal silver service and a huge menu to choose from, personally cooked and brought to my table where I could enjoy it for a couple of hours. So 76 euros for breakfast was a luxury we avoided. There was a decent french bakery you could sit at near the station about 200 yards away where we had 2 fresh pastries, coffee and juice for under 15 euros in total. So 1 star lost on value as a result - I'm fine paying 20 euros a head for breakfast if its decent but no more and I don't think I've ever seen it this expensive in a hotel before and I've stayed in lots of 5* hotels around the world including the likes of 4 Seasons.

« Excellent Service in convenient very nice location »

Sofitel Bayerpost is adjacent to the Munich Main Train Station Hbf. A very nice Lobby welcomes you. Front desk staff is extremely friendly and cooperative. The room seemingly was designed by a creative indoor architecture student. Some expertise needed to get things going, including the shade between living and bath rooms. The beds are outstandingly stunning, never slept better. The perfect combination between hard and soft.

« So good I've booked my next visit. »

It had been 4 years since my last pleasant stay at this hotel but remembered what a grand hotel this was so was really looking forward to my visit. After walking in and being wowed by the entrance I had a very smooth check-in. It's nice to receive platinum recognition and I was given a very nice room and other platinum benefits. The rooms are very modern and lovely, staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful and I had the most delicious truffle pasta in the resturaunt. Next visit I want to check out the incredible pool.

Having stayed at other hotels in the chain found this hotel missing something. It’s clean,warm,etc but just not as good as others. Would we stay again? No unless we got a great deal. It’s location is great for the train station.

I had a wonderful stay, regrettably short, but nevertheless most enjoyable, my room was 530, which was excellent in every aspect, beautifully decorated and short on nothing, Breakfast was as usual an experience in itself, although expensive (Euro 38), but frankly worth it, service was excellent. In essence, from the moment I have stepped into the Sofitel till the minute I left I was very pleased, thank you for the effort and maintaining the hotel high standard.

Combination of business meetings on property and externally. The service in the Isabar was very efficient - and busy! And the rooms, and most especially the beds were really comfortable. Not quite sure about the new toilet seat arrangement.

« Superb hotel in centralized location »

We stayed here only for one night as part of my wife's birthday surprise for me. The service was excellent, they had arranged for a surprise birthday cake(at my wife's request) waiting for me in our room! The breakfast was excellent,good spread. Didn't have much time to try other facilities but the location is good. Would love to come again.

As usual, Sofitel Bayerpost offers the comforts and amenities that I have come to expect. The room was quiet and well appointed. The service was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. My wife was disappointed a bit that you no longer offered gluten free muffins, but that is a minor point.
