« nice hotel. »

Sofitel is a very nice hotel. I spent 5 wonderful days in this hotel, the room is nice and clean, breakfast is nice, and I had good GYM experience. I heard pool in this hotel is also good but have not had chance to try, maybe I can try next time.

« perfect arrangement for the connecting rooms which suit my family needs »

Before checking in we purposely check-to-ask for the redemption of my Accor 3800 points equal to Euro 40 with agreement. When checking out the redemption was declaimed due to Sofitel their own reasons. I am not very happy with such confusion made by Sofitel.

It was not good. The building is great, the atmosphere and the people working there are fantastic. But the room was extremely noisy because of the fan of the bathroom that you can't switch off and all those lights are not intuitive on how to operate. I ordered a burger in the room and it was literally disgusting. The patty was certainly frozen, the bread was soggy. The worst burger I've ever had.

The location made it easy to access all parts of the city and the transport system. Only 50 metres from the Hauptbahnhof (the main station hub). Our room was on the 4th floor facing out onto Bayerstraße. Room was comfortable - bed a bit soft for us. Bathroom is quite small. Personally I don’t like the glass (opaque) door on the bathroom for privacy reasons. Great breakfast offer.

« Nice room, but needs a bit more space »

The room was elegantly decorated, the hotel and staff were excellent. Though for a 5 star hotel I was expecting slightly more space in the room. The room is well equipped, but felt a bit cramped. The SPA however was not a great experience.

Everything was fine in the hotel, however there were several conferences on. I know this is necessary financially for the hotel, but I would have liked some recognition that my visit, paying full price personally, was also valued. This may have been the offer of a massage when the spa was not full with conference attendees, breakfast in the room, or even merely a personal note to apologise for the inconvenience.

The guest room was comfortable and the meeting room was quite good. The only problem was that in the guest room, despite 17 light bulbs, there wasn't much light. There was no light over the desk. It was difficult to do work.

« The hotel and staff made our weekend special. »

Surprised my partner with a weekend in Munich and the staff at the hotel really made it extra special. We were checked into a duplex suite and some fizz and Pettit fours were delivered to the room as a welcome gift and to celebrate St Dwynwen day. Lying in bed on the upper floor and looking out at the view over the city (the Olympic tower, BMW building and beyond to Allianz Arena/FC Bayern Munich stadium). Used the spa which was very tranquil and the pool with hidden cave jacuzzi and the sauna area were great. I appreciate some of the extras were due to my status tier with the Club Accor loyalty programme but the Staff were very genuine and friendly and could not do enough for us. We had a really enjoyable stay. Thank you Gustav and the team.

« It is a good hotel but the response of the front office staff to issues relating to my stay was unsatisfactory »

I booked and paid for three superior rooms one for 3nights two for 4nights and then One suit Rm 662 for 5nights Unfortunately I was disappointed by the response of your front office staff as regards my breakfast which became a very embarrassing issue and prompted the Guest relationship Manager to write an apology A higher standard of guest relationship handling by your front office staff is what is expected from a top Class Hotel like Sofitel Two year ago during the BAU we were at your Sofitel Bayerpost

always a pleasure staying in my home away from home, when on business (and sometimes personal) trips to MUC I make sure to stay at your hotel, staff is attentive, prompt and always wears a smile on their faces, much appreciate the gestures of excellent service and care such as upgrades when available, the sweet and healthy amenities in the rooms and during my stay including the personalized notes with it, the gym is equipped with the necessary items needed for my much valued workout in the morning, the bed is heavenly (yes beyond Starwood one can use that phrase), if only I had more time to enjoy that amazing breakfast in the mornings, always a fan of the fine DÉLiCE, even though I am not able to stay with you during Inhorgenta in Feb I have already made a reservation at the restaurant to enjoy another great dinner. Keep up the excellent service, work and attention, I am a loyal fan for sure!

Perfect, check-in was easy and prompt. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Tried the breakfast and dinner restaurant which were both excellent, even as a non-breakfast person. Used the spa extensively which was the highlight of my stay.
