The rooms (type superior) were booked far in advance and were including breakfast and cancellation-option 156€, which was only done because I could use 80€ reward points. The hotel is located in an old cloister with surrounding parc, close to the centre of Hildesheim. Nice rooms, free minibar and high speed wifi was included ( I asked for the wifi code but the receptionist said that was not necessary; strange. It saw only the free-internet on my phone... But this also turned out to be “high speed”: 38 Mb up and down) Bathroom ok, with plenty of stuff. Breakfast (on sunday) was one of the best I have had. You immediately get your own pot of good coffee. It was the only hotel where I have seen freshly made, warm, apple crumble for breakfast! At checking out they asked for the minibar; I had to remind them that that was included... Also my reward-points-reduction was forgotten. Parking costs 8€. But after all a good stay; advisable.

We stop at this Hotel in the way back to Sweden. It is Great location, Easy parking, New building, Very clean. Nice common area. We were in a family trip and we took the offer of two rooms with the second 50% off. It was a very good ratio quality/price.

Overall the Novotel quality was lacking. Having booked a room with queen bed, I was moved to a single bed room! The breakfast is okay, but gets boring after just one time. I write this review while staying at another Novotel property, and the quality is far different!

Everythin works we1ll and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately this hotel has fallen behind other Novotels in both furnishings and facilities I.e gym. It needs an update.

We had great time at Novotel Hildesheim. We are a family with two chidren. The room was spacious, there was a coffee machine and free sweets. Beds comfortable and it was really quiet during the night. And the breakfast ended up a perfect stay. Highly recommended.

This Novotel is in a great position to explore Hildesheim. But imagine my shock when I arrived with my confirmation email and online check in all done and they said "no you don't have a reservation". Luckily they had rooms available. So I would advise to phone them, talk to a human and make sure the booking has made it through the internet. My subsequent email to customer service also seems to have fallen on deaf ears which is disappointing.

The Staff was excellent and helpful. The bartenders were great and were great to talk to in the evenings. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of selections. I like this hotel and will be back anytime I am in Hildesheim.

I always really enjoy every single of frequent stays in "my" Novotel in Hildesheim. A huge annoyance are the periodical trade fares during which the availability and pricing for accomodation becomes unreliable. But I don´t really expect that this can be changed somehow. Perhaps make me happy with cherry marmelade for breakfast one day ;-)

Very nice place, comfortable hotel in a historic building close to the Old City in Hildesheim with free spacious parking. Friendly staff, very good breakfast and big clean rooms. Nespresso coffee machine and home-made honey were really a great surprise. The only problem was a missing safe in the room. Or maybe I just couldn't find it staying one night only. By the way that was the second problem: I would like to stay here longer;-)

Nice room nice hotel but on the first day, it was far from a "feel welcome" approach - no wificode provided - restaurant not open and no info given about which one to recommend ... a shame ! - no info about the different services included in our package - no info about how parking works and its fares poor breakfast, limited choice for sweat breakfast, no international press, poor coffee but we also tried another day the restaurant and there the waitress was really nice and really client's focussed : a very charming experience

Great staff, plenty of parking available, great food. The only downside was that the wifi signal in my room (219, all the way at the far end of the hotel) wasn't very strong and dropped out at times. Especially in such an old building with thick walls this is something that should be surveyed properly and possibly enhanced with a few wifi boosters/extra routers. Speed was fine when it was working.
