« Novotel Freiburg is the best among all Novotels »

In average I stay 1-2 night per week in ahotel of the Accor group, mix between Ibis, Mercure and Novotel. The Novotel in Freiburg is by far the nicest and most convenient of all houses I have seen. The rooms are modern, cosy, comfy and spacious. The staff is friendly and well organized. Parking below and city centre adjacent. Very much recommandable

N. card Le Club AccorHotels: 30…4000 I stayed in your hotel from the 22/06/2018 to the 24/06/2018 booking code: GLQDKVTZ I chose to use 2000 Rewards points as shown in the attached booking. Total payable 353.40 EUR Use 2000 points Le Club AccorHotels Rewards -40.00 EUR Amount to be paid at the hotel: EUR 313.40 Unfortunately the credit card turns out to be 353.40 and I have not got back the points! I ask that the 2000 rewards points be restituted. Yours sincerely ing. F. M.

Good hotel, well located for leisure or business. Wellness area good though pool quite small. Excellent breakfast, worth the discounted price we were offered. Lovely old town just a short walk away but not many good restaurants, as most catered for the large student population. Railway station right opposite hotel.

When we checked in I pointed out that I don't want to use my South African Credit Card and rather pay with my EC-Maestro Card (which is not a credit card). I was told that Novotel needs a credit card and that the amount will only be RESERVED and not debited/purchased. However, ten minutes after checking in I received an sms from SA Standard Bank that the amount of R6225.43 has been PURCHASED (and not reserved). The reception people tried at length to explain how it works. Well, it didn't work, the above amount is still sitting as purchased amount on my credit card although I paid the full amount of € 394.00 on checking out with my EC Maestro card. I now have to take it up with Standard Bank here in South Africa to have the R6225.43 debited/reversed/sent back to Novotel. I am clearly not very impressed.

Close to the central station, bus from Basel airport stops right across the street, and the old town a stroll away, the hotel's location is just splendid. The room I was in was spacious and comfortable. The cons are: the intermittent stench in the bathroom due to an open drain on the floor and; the free service computer and printer made available to clients were not maintained. No printer toner, and the "Mac" ran windows, with a reinforced security that made the otherwise user-friendly machine a sheer nightmare.

Novotel Konzerthouse property needs overall upgrade, very poor lighting, wifi needs upgrade, elevators are premitive. no consideration for being loyal customer of accor. I have stayed maximum nights within my accor stay at this hotel.

We've always chosen Novotel wherever we go if this is an option.. this invited however was a disappointed. First we're not given thought towels, then the toiletries were not refilled the following day. The sofa bed for kids were not kids friendly - the metal sticks out at the side, my girl hit on.it several times. There were not kettle, no complimentary hot drinks, no complimentary drinking water. I would say my worst novotel experience

The Front office was very friendly and helping me with a request. Apart from this I had a good experience. The Novotel is anyway my number one hotel when visiting Freibureg ;-)

« We arrived in the evening and had an amazing welcome full of happiness »

The young lady who did our check in, Amy Reitsma, welcomed us with a smile and a laugh which made us immediately feel right at home. I must say that this kind of welcome is a unique, wonderful experience. I wish every check-in employee was just as nicely welcoming. It's a great change from most places.
