Great room, perfectly located hotel, amazing breakfast buffet. The only very minor inconvenience happened after check-in, since my keycard was not working and I could only get into my room after two trips to the (very helpful) reception team. When I quickly needed help in making outside phone calls possible from my room telephone, staff was also quick and helpful in solving the issue. However, phone costs seem a bit excessive.

Great location and good facilities (excellent parking). However, room not clean, dirty water kettle and poorly equipped minibar (complimentary for our rate).

We reserved the premium "Schwarzwald Room" but the woman checking us in neglected to tell us that the mini bar was complementary or that we were entitled to extra high speed internet. We didn't find out about the free mini bar until checking out when that front desk person asked us if we drank anything from the mini bar and then said "never mind the mini bar was complementary". We told her that the woman checking us in didn't inform us of this and without apology the person checking us out responded "well it was free". Regarding the room, the carpet was dirty and in need of cleaning. We arrived at the restaurant for breakfast on Saturday morning at 9:15am but several items were already out and not being replaced (e.g. Rosti, Croissants) and serving utensils were dirty (sticky) in some cases. As an Accor member I am used to a better quality of service, especially from a Novotel hotel. I hope that you will use my complaints to improve your service in the future.

Arrived at noon. Although official check-in time is at 3pm, staff did not even check for any room availability but outright rejected my check-in. I had to walk around for 3 hours to wait for check-in after a 16 hr travel from Singapore. Room had a musky smell and carpet was dirty.

The carpet desperately needs redone. The bathroom had a terrible odor. Not having air conditioning may have been standard for the region, but was tougher than usual during a hotter than normal week. The breakfast was nice. The front desk workers were nice.

My wife and I checked in on the evening of 1 September 19 and I believe Rebecca helped. We asked two separate times to change rooms due to the forced air not seeming to work. She was very helpful in assisting us to find a suitable room.

The hotel is very close to the city center and to the central station. The city center is very nice and worth to be visited especially Europa park for tee children and Titisee. Rooms are clean but we suggest to go out in the morning while the personal cleans because it's very loud and impossible to sleep. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of food for Everybody. For children is free. Personal is very friendly. We liked Layla and Ruby from the reception who always smiled and gave us information and Yoco from the restaurant who is very gently and polite with Everybody. We did not like the blonde woman at the reception (boss?) who always looked nervous and had no manner at all. Very bad is that there is no a/c in the room and it's extremely hot and fan helps just a little but not so much. there is no safe in the room just at the reception and you have to wait to get your stuff, this is very annoying. Please provide a/c and safe to have a better review.

the rooms are nice for a family. you should probably put a few more USB places in the room for charging phones and such. also the air conditioning in the room should probably work for cooling the room through the summer time. very good pool and breakfast experience.
