The room was tied and in need of refurbishment. The check in staff member was unwelcoming and breakfast was served in a temporary function room. I was unable to use the bar facility due to it being closed, however staff remained unhelpful with my drink request. This property is below the Accor standard!

The rooms needs definitely to be renovated even the superiors. I wouldnt be back before that and would not recommend it even if a Group accor Fan.

« Tiny rooms in an outdated hotel - does not deserve 4 stars »

Stayed two nights for business travel. Room was tiny, bathroom less than 4 sqm. Heating old and hidden covered by curtains so that room stayed cold (January!). Toilet flushing did not work properly. Although Gold member, no upgrade to a better room. Mercure/Accor can do better than this! Only positive aspects: friendly and dedicated staff.

Location was perfect. Parking available in the surrounding. the rooms were clean and neat (little bit old furniture). The breakfast was nice with different choices. The people at the reception were nice and helpful.

« Good location, clean rooms. Extremely noisy first night due to large group having party on the rooms and corridor. »

We were with my family 2 rooms. Location is good on walking distance from the City Centre. Rooms were clean, convenient. Unfortunately we had a very bad first night due to the fact that a large group op men had a party on the room with loud music, smashing doors and loud voices on the corridors.

« Avoid the hotel »

As an Accor Gold card holder, I was entitled to a room upgrade. Privilege room and suite were available on 26th Dec. I checked the website. Despite requesting at the front desk, I was denied. Had requested a high floor. Was given the 2nd floor The corridor was smelling foul I let the manage know my concerns via email On my final day of my stay on 28th, after 12 pm they offered to upgrade me. My wife refused. It was too late On 28th my credit card was debited, whereas it had been taken as a guarantee. Only on check out should they charge my credit card The person responsible for running this place needs to be changed

Nobody at the reception upon arrival but a message was left to inform soon somebody would come. Wanted to use the bathroom in the meantime but without a card, you cannot access the sanitary. Everything went well, we just stayed for a night to visit Düsselfdorf and its market.

My room felt a bit old and dark, but apart from that, this was a good stay: friendly reception, breakfast and housekeeping staff, clean (bath)room, quiet apart from some noisy plumbing, and a truly excellent breakfast choice.

A pleasant stay in a clean modern hotel with all the necessary facilities for a relaxed city break. Marred only by the fact that the room keys (which also controlled the lift) failed twice necessitating two trips to reception from the fourth floor via the stairs). Not a problem for me but had it been a guest with reduced mobility???? Reception staff seemed indifferent to this problem and certainly did not issue any sort of an apology.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We were expected. Check-in was easy. The room 507 was very nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small and the shower was too small. We had a drink at the bar. The Altbier has improved now that it is from Füchschen and NOT industry beer Diebels. My partner enjoyed her wine. Check out was easy too.

The room was not what was promised. No fresh fruit, no newspaper, no batch, etc etc...... We have been in this hotel before and had a normal room, that was ok concidering the price. This room was very expensive for what we get.
