« Small room but functional »

Room was very small but functional and it was quiet. Only noise was from the corridor and not outside. Staff were very helpful. Only bad point was that the shower leaked even when the door was pulled into the shower. Tery hard to to keep the (tiny) bathroom floor dry. Also would be good to have more shelf space available in the bathroom.

« not the money worth »

nice welcome , but small room. 1 shower towel missing (too late to ask for assistance). Curtain so slim that no wake up call needed in summertime, daylight does it for free. And if not, the noise of the street train will be the alternative. Breakfast is perfect. Wifi OK

« A good hotel located near the train station »

I was in Dusseldorf for just one night and i needed a hotel near the central train station so that i could get in and out of the city with ease. Check in was smooth and i was given a free welcome drink which was very nice.I had my drink at the hotel bar which is a nice cosy place. The room was small but well designed, clean and comfortable. Internet was easy to access and is fast. The hotel is situated within walking distance to the old city, shopping areas and restaurants. This hotel is perfect for business travellers who prefer convenience.

« A comfortable hotel in a good location. »

I was in Duesseldorf for a night and i chose the mercure because it was a short walk from the Dusseldorf Central train station. Check in was efficient and i got a welcome free drink which was very nice. The room was small but well designed so the spaces were efficiently used. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable. The internet connection is good and efficient.The bar and restaurant serves good beer. I was out most of the time so i didn't use much of the hotel facilities. The next morning i checked out and the check out was nice and smooth. Getting to the train station and catching a train to the airport is easy. I was in the airport within 30 minutes of checking out.

« hotel losing its standard »

I've been frequenting this hotel for a long time now yet the last experiences were all but totally satisfying and being an accor card holder doesn't make a difference at all neither being a returning customer in comparison to Dorint or Crowne plaza or starwood. The hotel has become pretty noisy too. The breakfast is still quite wonderful and the personnel working there too

No upgrade again, why bother advertising this? Room request not looked at. Room dirty, needs thorough deep clean, and also furniture updating. Tiny room, although I was expecting this.

Nothing to complain except: no business package available. only breakfast on the receipt. For German business travelers a major pain point. Almost all hotels offer business packages in Germany nowadays. This hotel unfortunately not. For me a no go to come again.

Nice hotel with a convenient car park. Great location, only a short walk to the station and city centre (but a bit further to the Altstadt). The rooms are a bit noisy because the internal soundproofing isn't very good, but otherwise the rooms are a good size, nice clean bathrooms, and many TV channels in multiple languages!

Very nice hotel, only let down by poor internal soundproofing. Rooms are clean and spacious, bathroom is good, breakfast also good. Staff speak English (I do try a little German but it's not good) and the service is excellent. Nice bar too. It's a short walk to the station and city centre, and the area feels perfectly safe. Altstadt is about 15 minutes walk away. Car park is convenient and not too expensive at €19.

The room was modern and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue that the heating on A/C wasn’t working which I needed it at night. The provided me a portable heater fan for second night which fixed the issue.

Had a very small room at the corner. Quite old, rusty window handle, ugly sight. Cleanliness was "incomplete", meaning in some areas in the bath room you could see big traces of the cleaning rag.

« A great time in Dusseldorf »

This was our first visit to the city. We were impressed with the hotel. The staff were very pleasant, the breakfast staff were brilliant and the garage a great bonus. The room was spacious and clean and surprisingly quiet considering that it was right on the street. The town was only 15 minutes walk and we had no need to use taxis or public transport. We will definitely stay here again when in Düsseldorf.

Although the hotel was not the area in Düsseldorf I would recommend, it was conveniently located . My disappointment was the bathroom. Being in the room only minutes I was a little taken aback when discovering the toilet had been used , and not flushed properly. This was a shock knowing the standards Accor pride themselves on. I mentioned this to the reception staff, (a young lady), but she appeared not interested. I only hope the staff responsible for the cleaning of that floor have been questioned. Very disappointed.

Nice hotel not far from central HBF. Calm and comfortable place. Booked twice and no complains. Nice and friendly staff. Room is clean with good furniture. TV provided several Russian channels. Breakfast was tasty.
