« Warm rooms, noisy with window open, frustrating wait for taxis »

In general the hotel is fine, but no ducted air means rooms are stuffy and then too noisy with windows open. I visited in Faire week, which mean average 40-50min wait for a taxi even when pre-booked. Not sure what taxis are like in normal weeks, but very frustrating while I was there.

Even if it is pr-ordered , it isdifficult to be at the hotel in time due to traffic jams in all directions. I am sorry for that. Normaly we have no problems to order Taxis for our guests , even in the morning the waiting time is less then 10 minutes. Unfortunately we do not have a AC in our hotel rooms. « Ideally suited for the purpose for which the reviewer is in Breitscheid »

Easily accessible for business purposes. Rooms are large, well-equipped, and bathroom has more space for toiletries than many other hotels. Only three floors, easy to walk up and down stairs, although the lifts, when summoned, arrive promptly and are well presented. Breakfast is standard fare, could perhaps benefit from a larger selection of fruit. Overall, one knows that staying in a Mercure hotel denotes an efficient and friendly staff, and never disappoints.

« All good except that the in the invoice was charged breakfast when I did not requested neither used it. »

The invoice was not correct, I requested to recover back the difference but I have no answer. I did not ckecked the invoice at the hotel, I was in a hurry, then I detected the mistake at the office. We claim but we continue without answer.

« Out of the sudden no Amex support »

I stay in that hotel quite frequently. The more I was surprised that my American Express (which I usually use to pay my hotel bill with) was not accepted any more. The hotel changed the system and Amex has not yet been onboarded. I asked to be informed via Email once Amex would be available again (since this might impact future stays at this place). My contact information was noted down but I have not received any updates yet.

the hotel is noisy, because everything is open from the ground floor to the top floors : every sounds are coming up, making this hotel the most noisy I have ever stayed at.

« Was fine but room to cold »

Came late at night. Was given a room at the end of the hall. The radiator was already at maximum bit it was underdimensioned compared to the room so it was too cold for my taste.

I've stayed at this hotel for several years due to its location and reasonable cost.I think the rooms are looking a little tired now and could do with an upgrade. There was a not particularly nice smell from the bathroom when I arrived. Room service was OK but quite slow. Staff friendly and efficient

At all times this hotel and staff were brilliant when we arrived booking in was simple. The lady at the reception desk chatted. My German is very limited but her English was great. The room was clean and very suitable.

« Clean, neat and tidy hotel close to the airport »

Good quality hotel and breakfast. Although I did the pre-checked-in through the web, I had to supply the invoicing address at check-in, again. Although in the booking, breakfast was included in the rate, the final invoice showed the breakfast separately. However, staff was very polite and helpful to correct.

« Very comfortable and clean for the business traveller »

I have previously stayed at Mercure hotels in the UK and India. I will be staying here every week for the next 3 months or so. I only wish the restaurant stayed open till at least 11pm as by the time I arrive at the hotel to check-in the restaurant is closing.
