Ok just the check in wasn’t very informative not told breakfast time not told we we’re entitled to the mini bar as it was already on the cost of our room felt most staff at the desk were to young .

« Beautiful hotel close to the heart of Wurzburg »

This place is great, in that its location in the lovely town of Wurzburg, makes it ideal to use it as a base to move around. Plus the added benefit of having parking close to the city centre, it really a bonus. The rooms are well designed and spacious. I had the rooms on the 4th floor, which gave it the feel of an attic. lovely and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Novotel, Wurzburg. The rooms were ideal - with our family rooms right next to the double that my wife's parents were staying in which enabled us to meet up easily and the children to move between rooms during the day. The swimming pool was a particular highlight for the children. A particular note of thanks to Monika who helped organize our complicated family requirements.

We arrived very late, after midnight, after having suffered 6-7 hours delay in a monster-traffic jam north of Kassel (15.08.2018). After that experience I needed something strong and went to the bar that supposedly was open until 01:00. No bartender in sight. The receptionist had left his chair for some task. No bell to ring. No answers to my (desperate) shouting. A bit of search in various rooms where I supposedly were not expected to be. Finally, after 10-15 minutes someone turned up. Not very friendly (I was obviously disturbing), but I got my single malt and could go to sleep. The room (double+) was fine, breakfast excellent - and we will come back next time we are in Würzburg. As regular guest in Novotel hotels, the rooms were not wat we expect from the name Novotel. In the first room, intenet did only if you are standing at the door of the room. The staff were so kind to change the room for us were internet werks. But much smaller room. We enjoyed the small swiming pool. The hotel location was near the center of the city. Just 10 minutes walk.

Two years ago we loved this hotel so booked it again, what a difference : ( - Did online check in, still took me very long to get our cards. - Room was super small for 3 people, bathroom so tiny that we had to step out to dry up - Big group of people eating from plastic bags in the inside garden (??) - People had to shout to get attention at the bar (I think not enough personel - came from kitchen!?) - Very small portion of dinner super overpriced (but tasty) - Parking is a joke if you have a bigger car (once parked in has no place keft to step out!) Overall... we will not return...

« Rom was good. AC and the temperature control by hotel was not acceptable. »

Overall the experience was good. The only exception was AC. AC was master controlled by the hotel which means that the I was not able to cool the room down to my specifications. This caused discomfort in terms of warm room and sweating at night. This is not acceptable solution. I have stayed at Miritam and other hotels and they do not control the temperature like you did.

My first impression was quite poor when trying to book by phone the day before, the Hotel reseption transferred me to a central for booking, the first person there did not speak english and transferred me to a third person, he again had to check back with the Hotel if it was possible to have a 3rd child at the room, and then he broke the phone connection. When I tried to phone back the connection with the central english speaking person did not work. The email I sent to request booking was not answered before 24 hours later. So I endes up with booking another Hotel. But managed to change it back to novotel same day as arriving when getting the email. But Even if this started bad: from arriving to check out the stay and sleep at the Hotel was very good!

On our way to italy we stayed at your hotel for the fifth time. Our welcome at the reception was not good. The receptionist seemed totally indifferent. On our way back from Italy the welcome was very good. There was another receptionist who was very informative and smiling. The restaurant was not a good experience with at stressed out waiter.

value for money. Expensive breakfast though. One hygiene factor. Pool visitors can go directly into the pool without showering. I find that extremely disgusting. During one trip to the pool, 5 older women (they didn't all come together) walked directly into the pool, with dry hair, make up and completely dry skin. You should make basic cleanliness rules for bathing more obvious.
