I needed an hotel near the Wiener Stadthalle for an even there. Mercure westbahnhof offered me everything I needed, besides me being a member of the Le Club Accor Hotels.

« Good hotel but internet/wifi did not work for 4 days of my stay!! »

I am regular customer in your hotel and always happy to go back but in this 4 days I was there I could not use wifi/WLAN because of some screwed up upgrade and problems with server?? It was really bad for me for work and also private life. When I got a business package for free, it was also not good to use (the same problem with server, I got the nothing faster :-) ) I know that other guests had the same problem. Next time I will have to think to go to you and risk this experience or choose other hotel.

Kedves János, Köszönöm, hogy nálunk foglalt szobát és idöt szánt a szálloda jellemzésére. Mint Platinum Le Club Accor Hotels klubtag illetve visszajáró vendégünk, véleménye különösen fontos nekünk. Ezúton szeretném megköszönni több éves hüségét. Sajnálom, hogy ezúttal az internet kapcsolatunk nem nyerte el a tetszését. Sajnos nem rajtunk múlt, hogy a szolgáltatónk nem tudta gyorsan elhárítani a hibát. Hihetetlen, de van még ilyen, én sem gondoltam volna. Többszöri jelzés és könyörgés után kicserélték a hibás szervert és most újra müködik. Ami nyilván már nem segít azon a tényen, hogy nem volt 100%-ban rendben az Ön által foglalt szolgáltatás, viszont remélem, hogy segít visszaállítani a bizalmát szállodánk felé. Mégegyszer elnézést kérek az okozott kellemetlenségekért, remélem, hogy - ahogy írta - kockáztat majd és kapunk egy újabb lehetöséget, hogy bebizonyítsuk, megy ez jobban is. Nagyon örülnék neki. Ha bármilyen kérdése lenne a következö foglalással kapcsolatban illetve, ha bármiben tudok segíteni, örömmel állok rendelkezésére, ezen az e-mail címen illetve a 00 43 1 98…7-ös telefonszámon vagyok elérhetö . Poor internet connection, terrible cleaning service ( they left dirty cups in the room for 3 days , did not change the towels with clean ones , I asked for the complementary shampoo and they did not send it to my room even though the listing said they offer it as complimentary ! The lights in the room were horrible, it was really dark . All in all BAD .

At Mercure, we strive to provide a very good service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. We regret that your experience with our hotel and our service did not completely meet your expectations; please allow us to express our sincerest apologies. After following up the whole issue respecting the housekeeping services, let me clarify that from the day after your arrival you were provided with the everyday cleaning service, your towels and bedsheets had been changed on the third dayof your stay. The bathroom amenities were already filled and available on the day of your arrival, and remained controlled and filled every day afterwards. Since we are an environmental friendly hotel, we do not change towels every day, unless our guests ask for new ones. Regarding the comments on our Internet connection, I have to admit that during last week we had to face some serious issues after a system update accidentally caused by our provider. I can only reassure you that my team was determined to find a solution as quick as possible. Since then the system got back to its normal way of functioning, but it had taken a couple of days. Once again I would like to apologize for the inconveniences and I very much hope that on your next visit our services will leave you completely satisfied. We would be honored to welcome you back. Everything went smoothly during my stay. The room I stayed in was in an excellent condition, esp. the walls looked to be recently renovated. Furniture had old, cosy Viennese style which I liked very much. i have no reason to complain.

« Ok for a couple of nights »

Breakfast was very tasty, with an opportunity to take coffee to go. The unpleasant moment happened upon arrival, the first room I was given was awful, with a disgusting smoke smell (I specifically asked for a non-smoking room). I returned to the desk and reported the situation to the receptionist. She insisted the room was non-smoking. I suggested we went to the room and checked it togever. At last she told me she would change the room. The second room was very nice and quiet.

The stay was ok. The first room I was given was awful - disgusting smoke smell and I specifically ordered a non-smoking room. I went back but the reseption employee assured me the room was non-smoking. At the and she replaced the room and the second was great. Breakfast was also great.

Hotel has a very good location, easy to access from the airport. Breakfast was very good, very diversified. Rooms had to be updated, the furniture from the room and from the bathroom are a little bit old
